The planning of staff needs to be addressed. During the busy holiday season there were only three registers open and the lines were not moving fast. Plan on it taking time.

I’ve been here a few times, often picking up orders made online. Yesterday I tried to buy something in-store and the clerk had some problem with the person in front of me. She should have sent the customer to customer service or asked for help. So I waited and waited. Eventually I gave up and shifted to a new line but that person told me she was taking a break. That’s customer service here, in a nutshell. I just abandoned my stuff and walked out. Please remind me not to shop here again. The prices aren’t even very good.

I like it cause there is no one there, bit most of the prices suck. I buy clothes there mainly, there are some deals in hardware and auto, but it’s not in a way that can be advertised. I think the store is about to close. I would examine what they could sell amnesty keep it open and get rid of what they cant. Don’t mean to tell one how to do their business, but I don’t want to see you go to a company like Walmart.

Everyone whom I’ve met who works here has been a delight. Each person was polite, helpful & cheery. Although this chain is Chinese & I prefer to shop locally, I come here often for basic household supplies & sewing, outdoor, & mechanic/building projects because it’s right up the street. I usually like having a wider variety of options for larger expensive purchases, but for tools & everyday supplies, I like this store as compared to Lowes or Home Depot.

This location is right across from Whole Foods, which I find humorous, since it seems the people that shop at one location are worlds apart from those that shop at the other. But after paying a visit this September(2013), I realized that these two stores actually have something in common: they’re both more expensive than nearby competitors. At least in Whole Foods case they have loyal followers, a niche of sorts, and an attractive store to visit. KMart has none of that. Even before going in, just looking at the abandoned parking lot, I wondered how the place stays in business. I’m still scratching my head on that one. Granted, this place — from the exterior at least — is free of the seediness and nuisances that are the custom at Wal-Mart locations, but that’s where the praise ends. This store is every bit the garish big box that Wal-mart, think row upon row of canned and boxed goods courtesy of your least favorite corporations, but with higher prices. For rerrrrr? How could this be?!? I thought the doors on this place were staying open due to LOWER prices than Wal-mart. No entiendo. Add to this a severely understaffed store, a chaotic setup, and the feeling that the feeling you have as you roam the aisles is not unlike the feeling of the folks in 28 Days Later walking the abandoned supermarket in the aftermath of the zombie virus outbreak and you will understandably be desperate to escape this store. How many years until Kmart shuts down all their stores?
