Cute place to eat have a tea and study. Like most places in Nob Hill, they close kind of early. Being from Austin, we LOVE our cute coffee houses. I feel like I’m home here. The chicken lasagna was yummy and they did a BOMB London Fog tea latte.

Unfortunately they no longer serve Bhakti chai. As I am not a coffee drinker I probably won’t be visiting often anymore. The atmosphere is still nice but I rarely eat out and enjoyed visiting with a cup of chai and getting some work done on the patio. They still carry chai but I was informed it was now made in house. It was not as good as the Bhakti.

Limonata is the definition of «cute café.» There is a quaintness to the vibe and staff that makes you slow down for a minute, consider your food and drink options, and carefully craft your own menu for a drink, snack, or full meal. Their crepes are tasty, made to order(watch and drool over the crêpe pan), and have savory and sweet options. They have a variety of baked goods and snacks(House-made hummus? I’m in!). Indoor and outdoor seating, some wifi, a good book, tasty coffee, and I’m good to go!

When I moved to Albuquerque back in August, I spent the first several weekends looking for a good coffee shop that was relatively near to my apartment, as I like to be able to go somewhere with a good atmosphere and excellent coffee when I need to get work done. Once I came into Limonata and ordered my first latte, I knew my search was over. My latte was a perfect blend of flavor, espresso, and soy milk; after drinking a lot of subpar lattes, it was a real treat. The food’s delicious as well – I highly recommend the carrot cake, although the crepes are excellent as well. It can be a tad pricey, but it’s totally worth it for a place with such amazing food/drink and such a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. I love this place with my whole heart(I come at least once a week to lesson plan/grade) and it’s definitely worth a visit.

Good food and coffee! The place is cute but pretty pricey in my opinion! I got a chicken wrap and chai iced coffee and paid $ 16 with tip included

Great selection of drinks in a very cozy nob hill setting. Ambiance is spot on and the staff is very friendly. Food is okay but really need to go back for the crepes!

Ew. I ordered the crêpe with pesto, prosciutto, tomato and mozzarella. First of all the crêpe was very very yellow, thick and doughy(the awesome crepes in Japan and France are not). It was almost omelette like:-(Somehow the tomatoes were cold and the prosciutto was cooked and very thick which made it weird and stringy. Service was friendly but a little slow.

I love Limonata! Best little coffee house I have found in ABQ so far. Their large fancy coffee actually has 4 shots of caffeine as opposed to national chain’s viente size with only 2 shots. And it is dang tasty! They have almond milk, awesome croissants and the house made granola is delicious! Go or you’ll be missing out! Oh and they still have punch cards for a free coffee! Just cashed mine in today. Staff is great too! Love this spot

We stopped here on a whim, because the sign outside said crepes and that was all we needed! I ordered a savory crêpe with prosciutto, Rosemary, carmelized onions, and cheese and it was fantastic. It did take about 10 minutes to come out while my friends clam chowder came out in a minute, but it was the lunch rush so I wasn’t annoyed. For dessert I had their raspberry pie and it was perfect! Not too sweet, filled to the brim with berries, and a homemade crust to boot, I couldn’t have asked for a better dessert on a nice spring morning! It is a bit pricey, and they can be a bit slow, but overall a wonderful little spot! I would recommend sitting outside and taking in the scenery while enjoying your meal or tea/coffee! We will definitely be back again!

Having breakfast and i order a waffle and my playe came with a half order for $ 8 my latte was luke warm. For a $ 12 breakfast i wasnt impressed. The waffle crumbled when i cut it and taked like uncooked batter. I guess the best part of this breakfast was the ambiance. They got that down. The crepes looked ry good. Too bad i wont be going back to try them.

I’ve been on the fence about this place for years, which kept me from really being able to nail down a starred review. There were very strong pros: they serve Bakti chai, the patio is calm and beautiful, and the interior was charming, obviously designed and decorated by someone with a real eye for style. Was– since the ownership change in February 2015, the charm is gone, replaced by some Pier 1 style wall hangings. The staff have ranged through the years from helpful to actually horrendous. One thing I thought I could count on, though, was the side salad. Very fresh greens, a delicious lemon-shallot vinaigrette, and– the best part– preserved lemons. Lemons. Limonata. It just made sense. Not anymore. No more lemon garnish. The side salad is now just a bowl of mixed lettuces, English cucumbers, and(I swear it’s not as good anymore) shallot vinaigrette. Not worth the 6 dollars, not by a long shot. The soda selection reminds me of what Tia Betty Blue’s had going on for a while. It replaced the overpriced pastas and sweets that used to hang out by the window. Good or bad? Unsure. For a few years, Limonata really was the only coffee shop in the area. There are many better choices now in terms of bang for your buck, environment, and food.

Cozy at home type feeling when you come here. Started with a cortado(cuban coffee like espresso) which was very strong but very tasty. I usually like mine with extra cream and sugar. Also tried the bacon and cheese quiche which was also very fresh and had lots of flavor. Had a taste of the clam chowder which made me feel like I was on a pier off the coast somewhere. Ended with an iced chai which looked like a glass of heaven with ice and tasted just like I imagined. Definitely deserves a return trip!

I recommend this to anyone who asks where to have breakfast! The waffles are delicious and the breakfast burritos are the best! Not to mention my favorite the macaroons!

Apparently this place has changed owners or managers and it not the same Limonata. First of all you have NO clue what to do when you go in there. No line staging or signage or helpful staff to get you in line. Once you figure that out on your own there are 4 or 5 different menus hand written along the walls which are frankly as confusing as heck. The hand written signage and paper menu are full of some serious spelling atrocities. As in– I wasn’t even certain what I was ordering. HEATYEMPANDANTA? Is that a meaty enchilada or a healthy empanada? Maybe something spicy? Unknown. The coffee was bitter and burnt. The lemonade was eerily similar to a mixed powder lemonade. It took about 30 minutes to get our food. I had to ask about it twice and I’m pretty sure they forgot what we ordered. Nothing came out at the same time. Of the 5 entrees our group got, not even one reached mediocrity. The giant cinnamon roll was so dried out it could have been ground into dust. AND it had raisins in it. Who puts raisins in cinnamon rolls without a disclaimer or description in the menu ?! Hummus was bland and overly oily. My guess it that it was just chick peas and olive oil with no tahini or spices. Crepes were strange. The chicken in mine tasted like canned chicken. Not great. The veggie panini was cold in the center. The waitress dropped a huge stack of plastic cups on my husband. She came back 3 or 4 times to reach across the table and refill the caddy that had silverware and napkins. It was never even empty. I came excited and hungry and left sad and still hungry. On the way out, we passed a couple sitting at the french bistro next door and said«we went to the wrong place». They agreed and told us the place had changed owners or managers. I guess it used to be good. I really wanted to like that place. I won’t be going back for a second visit.

My standards for coffee are extremely high and today Limonata did not disappoint! We ordered an espresso on ice and an iced dirty chai latte and I must admit it was the best chai we’ve ever tasted! By far the best in Albuquerque– so stop in and order one when your in Nob Hill.

Truly a lovely café and I sorta get a European vibe of this charming little eatery! The staff was really inviting as well as very friendly, nice changes and better for business(new ownership) «Voila» We ordered a yummy Nutella Crêpe & Bacon Quiche the quiche could of been a little moist & with more flavor but it was okay and the Nutella Crêpe should always come with whip cream & strawberries at no additional charge because if it had color & better presentation it’s a given you will«sell sell» simply because of how pretty it looks! The coffee was bold & strong exactly how I like it! Can’t wait to come on down whenever I’m in the area of Nob Hill as Limonata captivates the essence of my short European treat!

I needed to update my review since Limonata has recently changed hands. Limonata has changed, and I think for the better. First and foremost the staff is 150% better. They are nicer, more patient, speedier, and more customer service oriented. I don’t get a cup full of eyeroll when I go in for my morning coffee. Second(and perhaps the most important) the food is so.much.better. Frangipane crepes are filled with absolutely delicious, creamy, and almondy frangipane instead of the previous chalky flavorless frangipane. I also feel like you get more for your buck. Instead of one tiny crêpe I feel like my box has been fuller the last several times I’ve had them and they definitely don’t skimp on the fruit or nuts. So. So. So. Good! Lastly, I feel like the new owners are bringing their own special things to the place. They now offer Bhakti chai(uhm, yum!!!), and I’ve heard rumors of the new owners being bakers, which would make sense as to why they’re now serving more pies. They also now have waffles and clam chowder?! what??? I hope the quality and service continue to improve as they settle into their new role!

Better hours than The Grove and higher quality food than Starbucks’. Okay, so the latter is a given. Cozy little breakfast, lunch, and dessert place that makes everything fresh. Came here with five friends today and split several crepes, coffee, a yogurt and yougurt breakfast, paninis, and a bowl of clam chowder. Honey was drizzled on the strawberry crepes, which was a delightful surprise. Everything was made to order and was delicious. The toilet did not flush well, but everything else was up to par.
