THISRESTAURANTISUNDERNEWMANAGEMENT. I completely understand the negative reviews this place received earlier. For those that haven’t been back in a while, the son of the original founders has taken over the management of the restaurant and implemented changes that have raised the quality quite a bit. The quality of the food is definitely much higher than it used to be. Yes, it’s still serving Chinese-American fare, but if your idea of good Chinese is Panda Express, this place is way better. Oh, and they take credit cards now.

Worst Chinese food I have ever had in my whole life. I think it was prepared a week before because the taste was horrid. Started smelling putrid immediately.

The tofu was cut into thick big chunks and were full of grease. The grease actually squirted in my mouth when I took my first bite. My guess is that they didn’t press the tofu and also didn’t cook it long enough. It was nasty. The rest of my lo mein was okay, however they use way too much oil. Ew. The only reason it didn’t get one star is because the restaurant is very clean and the servers were friendly. Maybe the meat items are better. Oh, and they take cash only. boo.

The Chinese equivalent of Macdonald’s. It’s a drive thru. They do not take credit cards. Cashew chicken was so-so.

Easily the best Chinese food in Albuquerque! Everything there from the Sweet and Sour chicken to their Jalapeño chicken is great. Everything is made to order and can be adjusted to your personal taste. My personal recommendations are the Mongolian Chicken, Schezwan Chicken and the Egg Drop Soup. If you only get one thing though make sure you try their handmade egg rolls. These are not your everyday run of the mill greasy mushy egg rolls! These have a perfectly fried crispy outer skin with a medley of veggies and ground pork(?). In one word– Perfect! So if you’re looking for the perfect egg roll and nearly perfect Chinese entrées do not overlook this gem of a restaurant.
