Great freakin place. Coldest beer I’ve ever had… Seriously damn cold beer! The jalapeño lime boneless chicken wings were absolutely and positively amazing. Like I said– great freakin place. Nice staff, quick service. Highly recommend.

Server was very friendly and manager seemed like a good dude and came around and made sure everyone was happy.

Above-average street tacos(carnitas) w/good corn tortillas and salsa verde. Rice and beans were good too(though a tad cool and maybe a bit salty). Service was great — I changed my order and server didn’t blink an eye. Good scenery tambien. With all of the TVs, would be fun place to watch a game too.

Food was not good and service is sub par, but if you are into skimpy clothed women with excessive tattoos this is your spot. This place is like a hooters for vatos.

If you’re going for just a beer, and watch some sport, this is the place for you. Other then that, the place sucks. Really did not enjoy the food. We got boneless wings with the buffalo sauce and it was just awful, couldn’t finish them. They were drenched in the sauce. The mixed drink I ordered, was not mixed correctly, and was too strong. Also we only saw the waitress maybe twice and the place wasn’t busy at all.

The server was super rude. She ignore us the whole time, she messed up our whole order and we were also over charge. The check was given by the manager when we asked to speak to him about our food(pretty much kick us out) and then she called another manager that brought the security with him to fix our problem.

It was the only place open near our hotel at 11pm, and we were starving. The locals warned us, but we ended up going anyway. …My hot wings were horrible. Left 2⁄3 of my plate, and had only ate the other 1⁄3 out of obligation.

Worst service ever. I been to ojos locos in El Paso and Dallas and those where great. Our waitress was slow for everything we asked for. And had to repeat my orders several times. My fiancé Finally had enough when she and her friend found our waitress in the bathroom crying with a couple of other waitresses. I can understand having a bad day, family or FB issues. But do it in your own time, act professional if it’s too much go home !!! Sadly to say I still gave her a 30% tip on a 220.00 tap. Hope her issue was money.

Much better service but still sub par food. The only reason I am giving an extra star from one to two is the service and they do have damn good seasoning on their fries.

A great place to come hang out and watch whatever sports event you want. All you have to do is ask and they will switch channels for you. I don’t think there’s a seat in the house where you can’t see a TV(bathrooms don’t count). Beers are ice cold, as advertised, the food is hot and fresh. My server, Amber, was absolutely a rock star and spot on when it came to talking care of my order. She checked back frequently which was very pleasant and she had a smile for everyone. A doll and super cute as well. This is definitely a Mexican version of Hooter’s, but, with a lot more flair and an extremely laid back atmosphere. The girls watch out for each other at all times and it appears that they all help each other all the time. Definitely will return!

Reminds me of a hooters. The food is bar fare and the wait staff is scantly dress. Overall enjoyable, but not the first place I would stop

I liked the food a lot. The beans have a bacon smoky flavor and the rice was the consistency of grandmas. I love some street style tacos. I’m not a sports person but it had a million tvs and on Comercial break they switched to hip hop videos, which I also liked. The seats were a bit uncomfortable but I get the shtick. As for the waitresses… I mean you have to know it’s a hooter style place, the girls are hired because they have great bodies and let it hang out. If hooter is «delightfully tacky» then Ojos locos is «borderline stripper» So… no… at least the two girls we talked to were not tremendously smart. They were friendly though and the service was fine. I personally would be cautious of the negative reviews, this kind of atmosphere isn’t for everyone, especially the insecure girlfriend.

Always come when in town, great vibe, especially during the playoffs. Dj hops on the 1s and 2s during the commercials. Service is fast, food and drinks are good. Hispanic version of hooyers/twin peaks.

It’s understaffed and food quality is on par with mcdonalds. Go to bjs across the street instead.

Went to meet some high school classmates and had some drinks and finger bites. The food was not the greatest but was eatable. The service was very slow. Was so slow that my friends did not want for me to leave a tip to make a statement. But I left a tip anyways. That was my first experience there. Since I had been following them on their Facebook page and noticed the crowds during MMA fights or big NFL games. On my second visit which I was advised not to go there. I went to meet some old friends again and this time the food was still ok. The service was great 99% of the time. What the 1% that was bad is the reason why I only rate this place a 1start. The reason is that I handed the waitress a large amount dollar bill and asked for change. She never returned with the change nor my money. She happily gave me the tab for our food and drinks it was $ 172.00. When I decided to write down $ 0.00 on the tip she gave me this look like really??? So I just simply stated to her that the money she had taken from me was way more then 30% of the tab. I don’t know if she thought I was drunk or if she forgot. Either way it was very unprofessional as a waitress. I suppose I could have talked to her manager about it but I’m not the type to complaint nor did I want the normal response from a manager which is to get a discount from my tab. I wasn’t looking to get a discount. I had a witness also and she kept telling me to confront the waitress but I was only there on vacation so just decided to write my review on my first and final two visits to this establishment!

Ojos Locos is a fun Mexican restaurant with a sports bar atmosphere. I went here frequently while on several business trips, primarily because of its proximity to the Albuquerque Marriott(easy walk across the street). There is plenty of free parking in their private lot. The location is excellent, located right alongside Louisiana Blvd NE. The food quality is excellent, and service is right on point.

Ojo Loco’s is the Latina version of Hooters for sure! This place has some very cute half naked waitresses all over the place who are not so friendly but are easy on the eyes. Besides that Ojo’s offers a boring selection of American/Mexican drafts and offers some killer street tacos which makes up for the lack of good beers. Overall this place is my favorite of the breastraunts around Albq.

Good food, reasonably priced. Service was terrible. Our waitress was more concerned with the young male patrons than following up on our meal. We were given forks only and no knives. After patently waiting for her return to see if we needed any thing else with our meal I got up and interrupted her conversation with the male patron and asked for a knife. When the bill was presented it was incorrect charging my wife for iced tea when in fact she had water. We were in town at a convention at a neighboring hotel and advised our friends to go elsewhere.

I’m not totally sure how to review this place in any concise way. I think another reviewer called this«Mexican Hooters», and that is pretty dang accurate. I walked in and was looking around for the person I was supposed to meet, when out of the corner of my eye, I see one of the waitresses in a skimpy black outfit hoolahooping and hanging out. Interesting… The waitresses are cute, no doubt about that. And that is a big part of the draw of this place, of course. They have a good number of TVs around so this is a good place for sports, for sure. Their food was also good, though the portions were a bit small for the price — small street tacos and lots of beens and rice on the side. But they were very tasty. Their beer selection leaves quite a bit to be desired — nothing local at all, and most of what they have is the watered-down corporate swill we all know and hate. Okay, they have a couple that are drinkable, but that is a the worst thing about this place. There is a bit of weird ‘criminal’ vibe here. Okay, that’s probably too strong of a word, but you get the idea. That may be because of all the testosterone in the place, I don’t know. But the number of bouncers might be kinda off-putting to some.
