We love med food! We’ve been to Istanbul twice, spent time in Israel and eat great Greek food in Denver all the time. So all that said, Pars was a real disappointment. The service was very good and restaurant was clean however the food seemed to come from Costco or such; from the naan to the rice to the salad. The dolmas were mushy and oily.

Excellent place to eat. Pricy but the portions are large. I ordered the Lamb Gyro and it was very good. I was hesitant to eat the yogurt sauce but it was so good. Added an extra layer of flavor to both salad and gyro. The atmosphere was quiet and inviting. Staff was friendly

This place is EXCELLENT. The service was great and spot on. The food was as good as the other Persian restaurants we’ve been to. We ordered a plate of hummus with pita bread and koobideh. It was delicious. Boyfriend and I found our new favorite Persian restaurant. We will be back.

This was actually my best culinary experience during my trip to Albuquerque a few weeks ago. Even though I didn’t really like my entrée that much, I don’t blame the restaurant because I feel confident that I just didn’t order the right thing. I ordered a beef dish in some kind of spinach broth. It just wasn’t to my taste, but it seemed to be prepared nicely. They had a decent beer selection, which is a huge plus. For dessert, I had something that reminded me of a no-bake cookie. It was a sesame seed something-or-other, and I liked it a lot. I also enjoyed my tabouli salad. The interior of the restaurant is attractive and classy. I particularly liked all the brick. The hostess seated me in the very back, away from everyone else, which is what I prefer, but I was a little worried that I’d be forgotten about. I wasn’t. The waitress was very attentive as well as prompt. There was no belly-dancing the Thursday night that I was there. I didn’t mind because I was there to enjoy my meal in solitude. However, I can see how this might have been a disappointment for other patrons.

The food is good but a little pricey. If you order take out online you will miss out on any extras you would get if you dined in or called in to order. Basically its more expensive to order the entrée online if you take into account the sides/extras. I spoke to the owner, which I didn’t ask for, and he was argumentative. Luckily the food is decent or else…

This place is so delicious. We came on a Thursday night and it was almost closing time so there was not many people. We were attended very quickly. Our server answered all our questions about the different menu options and he did not make me feel embarrassed to ask. The food came out quickly and it was so delicious. Very simple but very flavorful. We sat in the floor section which was surprisingly very comfortable. I definitely recommend for a nice date.

I have been here a few times and it is always a great choice! I bring different friends to share the experience! The service is always on point. The owner walks around to greet his customers. The warm pita bread is great. I order the chicken fesenjoon and it is perfect! Also tried the barley soup and it’s great! All of the dishes sound so good! The sampler dessert platter is a nice choice.

Had never been to this restaurant before and had heard so many good reviews about the whole Persian experience… Needless to say they basically ruined my Valentine’s Day. We were told over the phone to book 2 weeks in advance, that there would be belly dancers(which we thought would be AMAZING) and that we were get a package deal for $ 80 per couple that booked in advance! We show up 10 mins early to our time slot… The place was EMPTY! We literally could have just walked in instead of getting reservations! The food was amazing which is why they are even getting 3 stars only but the experience was not noteworthy! We were there for a total of an hour and 30 minutes and not one belly dancer in sight. We asked the server why there was no entertainment, and he stated they were not coming till the next time slot which was an hour away. Also looking at the regular menu, the food range from $ 12-$ 20… So for two people it would cost around $ 60 at the highest(including an appetizer) but yet we spent around $ 92! I feel like there was false advertisement and I was really looking forward to the experience of this place which I did not receive.

It was our first time here and I am so glad that we got a chance to dine at this restaurant. We received a warm welcome and told them it was our first time at this place so we got to sit on the floor. Not literally, but it was an adventure for my kids because we got to sit at a table and chairs that were lowered. I’m guessing this was where they had the belly dancer, but we didn’t get a chance to experience that. Maybe next time, because we definitely enjoyed every part of our dinner. The service and food were spectacular. Definitely coming back here!

First off, if you haven’t tried Turkish Coffee, do so. Here. At this place. It’s yumtastico. Now, I love Mediterranean food so I usually go overboard when ordering at a Persian/Mediterranean restaurant. I started with a spanakopita, a delicious phyllo dough filled with spinach and other goodies(traditionally). It was meh, ok, not the best I’ve ever had, but not the worst either. Then I tried the Gyro lunch special, which consisted of a gyro sandwich, salad, and fries. All were really good. Then I went even more indulgently overboard and ordered a desert that had Persian baklava, and other things sweet, chewy, and awesome. Overall, this place is great. And so is the service.

If you are looking for a different dining experience I would recommend Pars Cuisine. This restaurant provides a fun, intimate, and classy atmosphere. The owner is always smiling and greets all who enter his establishment. I had the Greek salad and gyro this afternoon and it was delicious. The Greek salad has a hard to beat taste with the kalmata olives making you mouth water. I have never had better seasoned and cooked gyro meat(beef&lamb). Although I didn’t have it this go around, please try the rice with your meal. The basmati rice with saffron is simply out of this world. I have brought many family and friends here just to know what I simply believe is the greatest rice in the world. I hope you visit and enjoy !

Our absolute favorite Persian restaurant! Generous portions, premium quality ingredients. We love their Kebab Kubideh. Great experience with low seating. Must finish the meal with their authentic Persian tea! Very nice hardworking owners. Have been to many Persian restaurants in many states and this one is by far our families favorite!

We’ve had a couple of very good dinner when we dined in, but our most recent was carry-out. Soup and entrees were good, but one particular item was rather disappointing. We had ordered the large vegetarian appetizer combo and found adequate amounts of dolmas, olives, feta and pita but were dismayed by very hard, dry and rather inedible falafel patties. The other items, like eggplant dip, hummus, salad and tzatziki were in tiny cups(think of «salad dressing on the side») and not at all adequate for the four who were supposed to be sharing the platter. Bad start to an otherwise decent meal.

Stopped by for an app and a brewskie. I was a little disappointed they did not have any Mediterranean beers to go along with the theme of the restaurant. They did not even have Mythos, which I thought was a bid odd, but no huge deal. The food was very tasty and fresh. The Dolmas are superior to most. The dressing they came with was great. The service was excellent. I would probably swing by again if I’m in the area.

I ordered for pick up, and they gave me a naan with my food that clearly looked like left over. Over all the food was good but it’s very unfair to do this for pick up orders. Please check everything before you drive away. I called and talked to the manager and indeed of being apologetic he started arguing with me. Very disappointed

Food & service were good, only disappointment, we called before going to make sure the belly dancer would perform tonight, they said she usually start around 6:30 — 7:00, as of 7:40 when we left, there was no sign of her.

I used to love Pars but after this experience I won’t go back. Had a bug in my salad and the owner disregarded it as something that happens in the spring with the cases of lettuce they get. Very disappointing experience.

I celebrated one of my birthday events at the lovely eclectic Pars cuisine, such an incredible & private birthday experience, generous delicious food & excellent service as well as the lovely setting was beyond my expectations. An extraordinary experience that will always be remembered. The plush décor is sumptuous and distinctly Persian/Mediterranean~~beautiful colors and lush gorgeous fabrics create a real unique experience, along with the lovely entertainment from Sara who keeps you captivated. Thanks again for a wonderful birthday soirée!

Nice Authentic Middle Eastern Restaurant located in the Business Center/CBD area of ABQ. It was recommended I visit by a co-worker & I wasn’t disappointed. The belly dancer had my full attention & as she danced I envisioned myself & actually caught myself swaying to the music as she did; almost hypnotic. She danced the entire restaurant & even allowed 2 young girls to mimic her movements as she danced. I’d like to learn the«dance of the 7 veils», sorry John the Baptist. The food was very tasty & explosive, in a good way, to the palette. I ordered a Mazeh combination platter, as suggested; it allowed me to taste 3 different sauces & a very fluffy & lite rice… scrumptious!!! I also had the shirazi salad & it too was delish!!! I didn’t leave room for authentic baklava, which I’m sure was lite, flaky & also palette pleasing. I loved the décor & the sunken bench seated area in the middle of the main dining room floor. The music over head was also very soothing & pleasing; it totally fit the atmosphere. Great restaurant, stepping in almost takes you to the Middle East, well at least in your mind.
