Normally I go here first when I want pasta. Normally the restaurant is busy. Just now I went in and the restaurant had only people at the bar and one visible bartender who completely ignored me for three minutes while I waited for her. I left and ate a nice dinner at Jinja.

Solid service and good food. I have never been disappointed by the food. They are also dog friendly and have treats available for your furry friends.

These guys have a great happy hour! Food and drink specials, which you don’t always find. There is an Italian burger on the happy hour menu that is surprisingly good for a pasta place. The sauce for the meatballs/pasta/fried ravioli(and so on) is pretty spectacular. It’s hard to find a sauce that stands out since it is a classic recipe wherever you go but this one is a winner. The bar tenders are always friendly and the staffing model puts everyone in charge of customer service. They do have a little patio out front of this Paseo deal Norte location. When you walk in you will smell the great flavors you are about to enjoy. Make a stop at this local business for a pleasant meal.

Last night was my first time here, it was so worth it! This place deserves 5 stars! Ingredients are fresh and tasty! We had the Modena pizza and a Cesar salad. They serve Bosque beer on draft(another plus) server was great and atmosphere was great. Seating isn’t ideal but you get over it once you get comfortable. We will definitely be back soon!

New«fast food ambience»…“head’em in & move’em out”. Same olé thing, different day. Definitely not in keeping with the«Piazza Graciousness» toward loyal customers in the old Italian way.

We love this place. I usually get their Caprese salad and my husband and son split the Pizza Modena, which has Italian sausage and mushrooms. They have a large variety of wine and beer on tap, and their cheese bread is on point. It’s not the largest restaurant, which gives it a real neighborhood feel. Nothing like dinner at your neighborhood Italian joint to get the weekend kicked off right. The wait staff is knowledgable and friendly to a fault, and they have crayons for the kid. Can’t ask for more.

Pizzeria Luca — Albuquerque, NM — This is an amazing little hole in the wall pizzeria near my work, and I love it so! The service is great here, the food is even better! It also has an amazing atmosphere. The shop is decorated nice, and it just feels homely. If you really like wine, it has a nice selection and a nice bar. But let’s get to the good stuff, the pizza. I’ve tried a few now. The Margherita, pepperoni, pepperoni and salami, and the caprese. All are delicious and very fresh. All of their ingredients are very fresh and savory! I swear each additional item I order from here gets better and better! They’re pretty speedy on the cooking too, so I can order these about twenty minutes before I get out of work and grab it on the way home. They deliver to our work all the time, and we have always had great service from them in that regard as well. They don’t have a private lot per say, because its in a shopping center with a lot of other stores, so you still have to look for parking, but it’s a big lot and thats never been a problem for me. As far as delivery goes, I’m pretty sure they have delivered to us because we are across the street, but I’m not sure if we just went over and got it or if they brought it to our work… so don’t quote me on the delivery. I know they do take out, as that’s really the only way I’ve ever had anything from them. Don’t listen to the bad review on here. This pizza is supposed to have a little bit of a burn to it… it’s how it’s cooked(wood fired I believe?).and it not being overloaded with toppings and cheese is a more traditional Italian take on pizza. If that’s not for you, you won’t like it, but if you like rich, authentic flavors, you will absolutely love Luca!

Great pizza … the Modena is what I get. Have tried the Alfredo Lasagna too and it was excellent. Great prices on happy hour, good selection of local beers. The halibut was not my favorite. Fish itself was good but the preparation was not the best. Too much pesto, the risotto was drowning in it. Service tends to be on the slow side, but not always. Always busy when I’m there. Popular place.

There is a much better feel at night. And a longer menu. The interior reminds me of a wine cellar and the patio reminds me of a backyard. It’s a great place to have a pizza and beer at the end of a work week. The service is inconsistent. Tonight we got a waitress who should not be in a service industry. However the manager and other servers appeared to be friendly. I really like their salads and pizzas. The homemade dressings are perfectly matched with their salad creations. The pizza crust is better than Farina. My favorite dishes are the roasted beet kale salad and the margarita pizza.

I really liked this place… the service is prompt and friendly and the food was phenomenal .with blue eyes backfilling the low drone of friendly conversation, and the cooks bustling out made to order goodies the atmosphere is welcoming and doesn’t feel like you’re in Albuquerque let alone right off Paseo del Norte!

As far as Italian in Albuquerque goes this place is on point. Superb attention to detail on the entrees and appetizers. Great ambiance and really attentive service. I like a little garlic in my Italian sauces and dishes but other then that, really excellent food.

We’ve eaten there before and never have we been treated so poorly. We waited 45 minutes for a cup of soup and a salad! When it had not come out yet we paid for what we did receive and the manager dropped the ticket off and his sorry was as if we did something wrong! This was one of the worst experience ever there! Not sure if wanna return. Sincerely Once loyal customers

As the auto-caption on the Unilocal star rating says, A-ok. Nothing amazing, nothing special, but a-ok. Went in to burn up a groupon that had expired(they seem to always be running a groupon or living social of some sort) so I ordered a pizza that came to the exact same amount of the voucher value. Pizza was certainly tasty, though an 8mi run in the foothills right before my order may have skewed my taste buds somewhat. It certainly didn’t significantly outclass any of the local upscale chains, and def can’t compete with Turtle Mountain, sadly. At a price much higher than any of these other choices, I’m afraid it becomes not much more than the«around the corner so we don’t have to drive far» option. Table service was friendly and prompt, though I did find it amusing that the server asked if he could get me anything else after bringing the pizza, to which I replied that a fork & knife to serve myself the pizza would be grand… I would have settled for just a pizza server, but even that was missing. Alas, I guess I’ll just chalk it up to first world problems :) Otherwise service was actually impeccable, it’s just that for the price, I can’t rate the taste any higher than what is available all over town for $ 10/plate, so paying $ 12-$ 16 here only makes sense if the proximity is my only concern.

First time here tonight… can’t believe it since we live just up the street. WHYHAVEWENEVERBEENHEREBEFORE? My girls and I were very impressed. We just happened to get here about 8 minutes before happy hour ended. Because the prices for. the appetizers were so great we decided to try a few. Speidini, caprese, and ahi tuna. I would like to go into great detail about every single decadent bite, however I am half way into my food coma. They were all magnificent! We shared green Chile chicken Alfredo lasagna and practically liked the plate. The pasta was noticeably fresh, cheesy and spicy. Our little one got her normal pepperoni pizza and loved it. we absolutely will be back… Probably tomorrow it was so good. The ambience is nice and comfortable. Movie posters, music, dim lights and a couple of tvs at the bar. But what really impressed us was the service. We were fortunate enough to have what I consider may be one of Albuquerque’s best waitresses. Ginnie was the icing on our cake. What a perfect way to spend date night with my two favorite people.

This is my favorite italian place. They import their ingredients and make their pasta. It may sound strange but, the green chile chicken lasagna is phenom. The modena pizza covered in garlic pepperoni sausage olives and mushroom is a must order as well. I’ve liked everything I’ve tried here, and if you make it for happy hour you are winning! Ps. chocolate cake.

I have been here a few times, usually on Sundays. But today we decided to go and the happy hour was from 2−6pm on weekdays. The happy hour menu was extensive with the availability to get toasted ravioli, meatballs, garlic bread, at least 3 different salads, soup, small cheese pizza, etc. There were some drink specials too, but I like to get the Breckenridge Vanilla Porter they have there on tap. The atmosphere is awesome here. I like the seating, the brick walls, the art, and the music they play. I enjoy the variety of the menu and always find something new to try. The servers are always attentive and the restaurant is clean. I see families in there eating and all kinds of different people, on nice days the patio is a nice place to sit. Go try Luca, it’s a nice joint.

My rating doesn’t change… but the carpaccio app was excellent, my «Lucas pizza» was great. The dates made to order chicken and shroom pizza, I hear, was great too. Still… 19 bucks for a gourmet pizza is a little steep, especially when its cooked by kids who can barely shave. I’ll keep coming. Cause she likes it. We used an amazon local coupon(½ price) bit still spent more than making my own and buying a bottle of wine. The wait staff, I will say, is awesome. Very friendly. But under-dressed for the price.
