Well, this is certainly good pie. In my humble opinion however, the boys down the street on Eubank and Candelaria have a bit better of one though. The pie here is good, but the crust just isn’t quite there and the sauce has a lite flavor — to me. Now Unilocalers, I know this place has amazing reviews and that’s cool — Pie is a VERY subjective personal food, in my opinion to all agree on. I just feel there are a few other better choices in town. Now, that said, I love that this is family owned and the service is top shelf. I know they take a ton of pride in their store and they use quality fresh ingredients. This is a great place to go for a quick slice and a bargain price. I do want to try one of their subs however… and I will, very soon. Good subs are very hard to come by In this town, just like good pizza. This place, joining the ranks however certainly helps to move that perception into a more positive direction. ;) If he nails that sub, I’m changing this to a «Five»! Stay tuned. My apologies for no pictures. We had the supremes 25-Incher.

It’s good pizza different than most in abq. The slices are huge and the salads are not worth ordering but the family really loves their subs also. Customer service is ok defiantly worth a try

Best pizza I have had in awhile. This place was recommended by a good friend, so why not try it? Big slices, fresh ingredients, and delicious sauce too. I will definitely go back anytime I’m in Albuquerque.

Love the large slices… one slice is like a meal… fun to watch my girlfriends little girls tackle the slices yoo… all in all though I thought the taste was pretty average… kinda expected more as far as flavor… not bad… but not great either… me and my GF agreed… cool staff and friendly service… prabably wont break my neck going back but it was a cool experience

It’s pretty good, but not five stars good. Positives: Good value, despite the surprisingly high price. They don’t skimp on the cheese or toppings. It’s clear they put a lot of effort into their product. When I opened the box, I was pretty stoked. Beautiful pie. The crust has a great texture. Negatives: The sauce is pretty uneventful. They put a lot of oregano on top — too much in my opinion. The sausage was plentiful, but lacked punch. The green chile has no heat whatsoever. Overall, pretty good, but not worth driving more than 5 minutes for.

This is probably one of the best pizza places here in Albuquerque and its just a couple of miles from our house! :) We had the 18inch Supreme NY style pizza and it was sooo good. The leftover was even better the next day. Each of the ingredients was fresh and high quality. We can taste the difference. We also tried the fries and for about $ 4, we got a big portion. Viper sauce was overrated I think. It tasted basically like a mixture of mayo plus sriracha or some hotsauce. 25cents per small container. Minus one star for the price. We paid about $ 30 tax included for the 18inch pizza alone, which we thought was a splurge. But just add $ 4 and you get the whopping 25inch pizza. We really haven’t been to other pizzerias in town, but we’d definitely be back to this place. **Tip** Get a promo card where they punch a hole on it everytime you order and you get a free pizza or whatever after your 10th order.

Some distant weekend, trying to find something different to try on the East side we ended up here, at this little nondescript pizza joint. HUGE ass pizzas or slices only? Well what’s one to do… we got the whole thing, fo’ sure! We were not disappointed. Finally a pizza that’s loaded but not so greasy that it makes you ill. Good crust and tasty sauce are the best way to start a good pizza, in case you never had one. For lunch on a Saturday I was surprised to see that we were the only clients. So yea, the service was great. The couple of kids running the place were awesome. I’m looking forward to a return trip when on that side of town again.

Amazing!!! Came here on our cross country drive, was craving pizza and fries and this place exceeded my expectations! It’s my birthday and Preston(the owner) made me this melt in your melt cannoli with crushed pistachios and chocolate sprinkles! The owners are interactive, personable, and so kind! The viper sauce was a kick with the season French fries! Would love to come back here on our next trip! Thank you for making my birthday special!

We ordered a large(16″) pepperoni pizza. I found the crust to be good, stiff enough to hold up the weight of the rather large slices, though my wife thought it tasted a bit stale or perhaps dry. The sauce and the cheese, along with the seasonings on top, make for an extremely flavorful slice, even before you get to pepperoni. I think some people might find it to be over-seasoned. I tend to like this kind of thing, so I really enjoyed it. Perhaps the best thing was dipping the crust in the Viper Sauce, which seems like a homemade hot sauce made with sriracha, mayo, and red pepper flakes. But my wife(who doesn’t usually like a lot of hot sauce type stuff) and I both loved it. Oh, also, I came in wearing my Buffalo Sabres sweater and the guy at the counter talked to me about hockey. So that was awesome.

Omahgawd. .. YAS, GURL! Richie B’s is a little slice of New York heaven smack dab in good ol’ Albuquerque. I came here as part of a Unilocal CMYE(will be a separate reviews). Kept seeing my Unilocalmigos Marissa and James H. checking in, so the anticipation to try this place was real. I ordered a MASSIVE slice of pizza covered in some #NewMexicoTrue Green Chile. Go peek at the pictures, that thing could easily serve 2 – 3 people. The crust was thin and perfect, had an excellent cheese blend, and because I’m a Green Chile Whore, can we talk about it? Plenty of buzz to it and you can even see the seeds. All signs of a party about to happen in your mouth. Got to steal some of the seasoned fries; those were also delish. Not something I would think to order at this type of place. Pizza = The BEST. Preston = Rad. Restaurant = Clean. Décor = Appropriately themed without being cheesy. Cannot wait to come back on my next trip out. .. Soon!

I think I might have found one of the best pizza places in Albuquerque! And they deliver!!! I haven’t had pizza this good since we lived in New York! We recently moved to the Foot Hills area and seriously 3 out of the first 5 days we ate at Richie B’s! We have had their 18′ pepperoni and pineapple, 25′ pepperoni, house salad, Italian sub, Philly steak and cheese sub, turkey/ham sub and cannoli. I haven’t been disappointed with anything! The slices of the pie are a perfect New York size! The crust was fluffy but crisp the pizza had the right amount of grease and flavor! I was surprised on the salad! It was delicious and could eat it by itself. My favor sub is their Italian(I am still in search of the perfect Philly Cheese). Honestly, when it comes to cannoli I am very picky and critical! I have only had amazing cannoli in New York and Baltimore. Since then it has been disappointment after disappointment until Richie B’s! Their cannoli(and pizza) is the closest thing that has come to the places in New York and Baltimore that I love! I will definitely continue visiting Richie B’s but will routinely have them deliver their delicious pizza, salad and cannoli to my house!!!

As far as pizza goes, this was probably one of the best $ 3.5 I’ve ever spent! HUGE slice, really yummy, set amidst giant wall posters of NYC street scene. What could be better? One slice is definitely enough for one person unless you fancy not fitting into the same pants shortly thereafter. One thing is the tables and the bathrooms could be a bit cleaner but when the pizza is good, all that matters less!

I was a little nervous about trying Richie’s B’s because the price of a large pizza seemed a little off to me, but when I got it boy was I surprised! First of all, can we talk about how giant this pizza is. Holy moly! I would not call this a large pizza I would call it an XXL pizza. Okay, now I get it. So the slices are cut really big, next time I will ask them to cut them smaller but other than that everything was on point. The crust was thin but had enough substance to it. Nice balance between crust, sauce and cheese. The meat on it was high quality. We did the sausage, pepperoni, and green chile. So I’m some sort of an expert of Green Chile and I have very high standards. You could taste the end of summer in this chile. Nice roasted, perfect green, hit of spice that makes you sweat a little. I was very pleased. The owner also graciously delivered to us even though we were a few streets outside his delivery range. He also delivered it himself which was really nice. You can tell her really values his customers and puts a lot of love into what he does.

Awesome pizza. Enormous slices. New York style. It was good. Second time Ive been here and the owner was there to give me advice on my pizza habits. He warned me of the sheer size of the pizza. I disregarded the warning and proceeded to purchase 2 slices, side salad, and obligatory soda. I had been here once before for lunch and got the two slice deal and it was more than enough. The added salad was just for kicks. The price was really reasonable as well. As stated in my picture, I regret nothing. If you want lots of pizza and a challenge, this is the pizza place for you!

***** Parking ****- Facility ***** Cleanliness ***** Service ***** Food ****- Value Score = 28 which is a 4.7(Way good) Let me start by saying I absolutely love this place. I wanted to take some time before I wrote a review so I could provide better tips and suggestions in it. I regularly keep left over pizza in my fridge because this stuff reheats perfectly hang on… okay I just popped in a slice, I’m not kidding, 350 for like 8 minutes in foil works best. I get to eat a slice while writing this review. Preston, Jessica and Renae are really nice, Preston tries to remember you by name and really wants to make sure it’s the best, every time, bar none! I’ve had, pizza(whole pie and by the slice) if you get the 25″ ask to have it cut 16 ways, cheesecake, cannoli’s, the Philly, and fries(yeah seasoned fries at an Italian place, get out!). Everything I’ve had has been nothing short of mouth watering good. I’d drone on about it but frankly it’s all great. Visitors to NM this is a place to get a slice with green chile, notice it has the seeds, it’s worthy of extra mention. Also if you have room try the seasoned fries and a cannoli, oh yeah and the cheesecake. Did I mention… You get the point, you won’t go wrong here!

I had to check out the hype. Thankfully we had a Community Unilocal event here so it turned out to be a no-brainer. The staff and the place were top notch. The NYC vibe is incredibly obvious and since they get some of their ingredients straight from Brooklyn, it sure makes a lot of sense! You’ll find some of the best pizza in the 505 here, as well as some damn good sammie’s like the killer Philly Cheesesteak which comes with a Viper Sauce that you have to try. I was debating whether to grab a slice or go for a whole pie, and thankfully I got the whole pie. I knew there was no way in Staten Island that I was gonna finish it, but it was gonna be delicious the next day as well! I ordered the Supreme and anxiously waited for my trip to pizza heaven. The pearly gates of 18 inches of crust did not disappoint. So many toppings, all perfectly cooked and melt in your mouth. A nice thin crust that is easy to scarf up and has a body of it’s own. The sheer size of this monster is well worth the price you pay. The awesome owners treated us to their amazing Cannoli and let me just say that I want this after every meal for the rest of my life. The filling in it is straight from Brooklyn! The fact that they can knock it out of the park with so many items here is a testament to their craft and attention to detail. I couldn’t agree more with my fellow Unilocaler Howie K., because I can’t seem to understand how I didn’t know about this place before?! It should be packed everyday! I’ll be sure to do my part and become a regular here, it’s on my way home from work so that’s just icing on the cake. Pizza cake, that is. Stop on by and get a taste of the Big Apple, and more!

This place is REALLY good! The slices of pizza are enormous and the owner is really personable. Richie B’s is right off Montgomery in a mini mall type of place. It is small but very welcoming… they were hosting a 4 year old birthday girl’s party here(cool and fun). We each got a slice of the Supreme pizza — Italian sausage, pepperoni, bell peppers, mushrooms — Hold the onion. We also order a salad and it was a great choice(fresh veggies). When our slices came out, the owner brought out some viper sauce(which I love all kinds of sauces with any of my meals) was such a good addition to an already tasty pizza. — – Definitely ordering here again — -

I’ve been searching for good pizza here in ABQ for quite sometime. Dion’s, being just across the street from where I live, I’ve eaten my share of lousy pizza, so it’s really exciting when you find a shinning diamond amongst the roughage. I like a nice, thin, crispy crust and Richie B’s is awesome. I ordered just one slice of pepperoni and it was huge! Spices were plentiful and flavorful. The crust is spread with garlic and the aroma is so enticing, you can’t leave any behind. It could have used a little more sauce, but I’m sure you can customize it however you want. I met one of the owners, Jessica, who was friendly, welcoming and just delightful. She told me the story behind the name – Richie B’s and it was fascinating. Ask her about it. I’ve heard outstanding comments about the Philly cheesesteak too and can’t wait to try it. See you there.

I don’t like the Viper Sauce. I know, everybody likes the Viper Sauce. I don’t. I love the pizza though. Wait…that’s PIZZA. The pie at Richie B’s is big, bold, and beautiful. Where to start? The crust is perfectly baked, no undercooked or overcooked spots anywhere. And that is saying something for slices this large. A single slice is at least a foot long. The crust is light, crispy, and doughy yet strong enough to withstand toppings without buckling. The crust can hold it’s own, it’s sturdy. The toppings… we got a 25″ sausage and green chile, half pepperoni pie. The toppings are generous but not too heavy. There is no grease floating on the top of the pie or underneath it. Just the sauce, cheesy goodness, and toppings. The best part is that you can take a bite out of the pie without all the toppings oozing off the crust. It’s amazing. The sauce… a tomatoey delight with notes of pepper and anise. The sauce truly is perfection. The entire pizza is sprinkled with a devilish seasoning that just pops in your mouth. It’s just damn good pizza. Richie B’s is clean and has an inviting feel. The owner, Preston is really friendly. My only complaint is that they are pretty far from where I live. I’ll most likely have to move. Just kidding:)) Oh and I feel skinny. I only ate one slice. Wait, that’s SLICE.

Welp, I guess I can kiss that diet thing goodbye. Want to lose weight? Here’s your recipe: eat right, exercise, avoid sweets and drink plenty of water. That last one is critical: hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. Over the past few weeks I’ve been doing a damn fine job obeying the rules and it’s been paying off, but deep down, I’ve always known that the secret to subverting the extra-pounds paradigm is Portioning. That’s it, people. Five small meals per day is way better than three biggies. And I’ll be damned if I can beat that last one. Portioning flat-out sucks. Especially at Richie B’s. I got the food to-go. We were feeding ten people, we ordered a large(25 inch) pizza, another medium pie, two sammies(Philly cheesesteak and the Italian) and two salads, you know, for balance. And I had to drive from Montgomery and Louisiana to the north valley with the stuff in my back seat. The traffic on I-40 slowed me to a creep, the stuff was wafting through the air, and the whole time I was telling myself, «One slice, a bite of the Philly, salad. Lots of salad.» Got home, laid out the eats, let the crew dig in. My first plate featured a slice and a bite. Second plate was salad. Third plate was a slice. Fourth plate, more salad. Fifth, a slice and a two sandwich bites. Sixth, more salad. Seventh, another slice. Needless to say, my entire being has been experiencing something resembling a tectonic shift over the past few hours, attempting to find a place to shelve all of that goodness. It’s really disgusting, actually. I’m glad I’m alone right now. Portioning works great until you confront food that absolutely cannot be denied. I’m holding Richie B’s responsible for stretching my stomach to oblivion. Richie and his damn Viper sauce. It’s venomous. One last thing: the fact that this business has been virtually empty each time I’ve visited is an embarrassment.
