Just moved here from Chicago and I have had the biggest coffee shock of my life. Albuquerque does their coffee way different than Chicago — and not for the better. This has been a very hard adjustment because I love my coffee, and have gone crazy trying to find coffee to my tasting. I swear everything I get here tastes overly burnt and some even tastes like an ash tray. The coffee is consistent throughout albuquerque… so it must be a thing here. That being said, Satellite is the only place I go to. Their coffee is very close to what I am used to in Chicago. Plus, they have some amazing concoctions here. They have the best London Fog in town and their espresso is very good. Nothing tastes burnt or like an ash tray here. Plus, all of their workers are amazing.

This place is phenomenal. We had the Rise and Shine sandwich and yogurt w/granola. Both were delicious. But the real winners were the drinks. I had the Remix with almond milk and my husband got the Café con Leche. He is Cuban and said it was just like his grandma used to make. The Remix is probably the best iced coffee drink that I have ever had. It was sweet but not too sweet, and very mellow. I’ve never had anything like it. Both people behind the counter were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back here again and again.

Visited 10÷7÷15. Great coffee, better than Starbucks. Had the café latte and blueberry scone. Loved their coffee cups and the scones are delicious. Parking is good. Be sure to check out the cool mural on the side of the building. Recommended. Will definitely return on my next visit to Albuquerque.

Any place that is able to make a delicious London Fog latte gets major plus points in my book. Their teas in general are pretty great, as they’re all about that loose-leaf tea. I’m currently sipping on the jasmine tea – incredibly fragrant and full of flavor. I’ve been here a couple times this weekend already(need lots of caffeine to stay awake for those Balloon Fiesta activities!), and each time has been a delight. Coffee(and tea!) is pretty good, pastries are pretty tasty, and service is fantastic. The servers are very friendly and make you feel very welcome in the café. The seating area is nice and spacious, full of squishy couches and armchairs. There are often people sitting around working on their laptops and studying, as the place is pretty quiet as far as coffee places go. Haven’t been to the other locations around town, but this one is definitely a solid 5 stars.

My husband and I have not been to Satellite in a while but when we are in the area, we take advantage and make a trip. I really like this Satellite. It has very comfortable chairs. I always try to get my favorite and I have been lucky to claim it. IT’S MINE! Lol The ambience is very chill. It’s very relaxing on Saturday mornings, which I like. I don’t like being in places with a lot of people. The prices compare to other coffee shops, which I don’t mind since it’s only a few times we come. They do carry whole bean coffee in different varieties.

Great coffee, great food and get their salsa with a breakfast wrap! Definitely stop by when you are in town! Great local roasters & you can buy fresh beans too. Their Mexican Latte is great, coffee is great there too. I can’t say I like the Turkish Latte — has some odd spices. I can see why they thrive within the radius of the college campus. Been in business for almost 3 decades.

Satellite is the best coffee spot in Nobhill. It is very comfortable and the staff is very friendly. The wifi is actually fast. That is something that is hard to find and super useful. It’s a nice place to pass some time, have a good cup of coffee and people watch.

Awesome place! Our first time here and they were great! Brought my dog Bob, sat outside and we were catered to. Thanks! We’ll be back for more good food.

I, a tourist from South Florida, enjoyed coming to this area of Albuquerque. I enjoyed it quite a bit. I was actually in this area more than what Unilocal shows. I didn’t always check-in because unfortunately, for the most part, the area closes down early and I’m not used to that from an area like this. Why three stars? Well, one location is open until 11:00 p.m., another until 8:00 p.m., then you have this one that closes at 7:00 p.m. It’s not until right now that I’m home with access to a computer that I can clearly see the different timing. Good drinks from a locally owned and operated business but, hard to keep track when exactly you’re open when you’re someone visiting from out of town. It’s a shame and why I ended-up at Starbucks more often than not. Even your opening time differs from one location to the other. Yeah, it was just easier and less confusing to drive to one of the many Starbucks in Albuquerque. Good drinks, though and again, locally owned.

My daughter and I come in here multiple times a week. The staff is always really nice. My daughter loves the ever changing art work. They also made me a new drink when I ordered one way stronger then I could handle. Nice, clean, and quirky what more could you want?

This place is just meh. I like their London fog and their baristas but the coffee is hit or miss, mostly miss. Usually I go with tea and I’m happy with that! I come here on occasion when in nob hill but they need a few upgrades so I mostly avoid it if I can. Their for here cups were very old and their milk and creamer carafes were just nasty. I asked the cashier for fresh cream from the fridge today which she gladly gave me. If you go here I suggest you do the same!

Possibly the BEST and most interesting coffee/hot chocolate drink made with chile AND whipped cream. It was beyond good with a great kick, I didn’t want the drink to end. First time at this location and it’s now one of my favs! Satellite staff = super friendly, décor and seating comfy. Plenty of parking too.

This is by far my favorite Sattelite location in Albuquerque. It is nice, new, open, fantastically designed, and always bustling. If you like to people watch, come here on a weekday evening around 4pm, grab a spot of tea or coffee, sit down and enjoy. The service is excellent, the drinks are always great, and I’m sure their food items are good too I just haven’t tried one yet. In time. Maybe after this tea…

I only had an iced americano, but it was the best espresso blend I have had in a long time. Satellite was ShreyNdipitous — - - On a road trip from St. Louis to Los Angeles, Albuquerque, NM was my pitstop in the middle. After Unilocaling for some local coffee shops the two that came up were closed(didn’t open til 9am) and so I went to a nearby Starbucks to get a little boost for myself, but more importantly charge my laptop and phone so I could get back on the road and not get off the map. The Starbucks was bad. It would be difficult to describe without sounding complacent, but when their internet was down I decided to leave(needed the internet to route my trip for the day). And here is where serendipity comes in. …or maybe that is ShreyNdipity. …I get a text from her saying Satellite is a great coffee stop in Albuquerque and it is a couple miles down on the historic route 66. Ten minutes later, I park for free down the street, grind up a nice bean, and have one of the best iced americanos I have ever had. Fresh, earthy, and floral — most importantly not bitter! Cool service, cool guests, free wifi with good speed — no complaints. Refueled with premium, I fled west.

Nob Hill, you are impossible. In any other city, you’d be decked out with great cafes, cool secondhand shops, and amazing eateries. Guess what? You’re halfway there. But why, for the love of Zeus, are there so few places to grab a cup of java and plug in? Satellite is my choice in Nob Hill, and occasionally Limonata in the afternoon. Anywhere, really, that will house my laptop for the cost of a cup. The space is indeed bustling and the employees are across-the-board cool. The coffee? J-j-j-jittery caffeinated, so take heed. I don’t get a lot of sleep, in general, and often wander into the place zombie-esque, a little snooze drool dripping from the corner of a lip, but one cup of the iced coffee in this joint gets me popping. The pricing competes with That Seattle Conglomerate, and so do the enmities, save this(very) important little addition: Satellite offers liquid pump sweeteners at the coffee bar for… FREE! Honey and good ol’ cane sugar varieties. Free. The way it should be. You listenin’, Seattle Conglomerate? You irk me with your sugary taxes. Thank you, Satellite, for providing this little tiny bit of zombie love. I shall now commence on chowing down upon your brain.
