I lived here for two years. Overall you have to take the good with the bad. Apartment — pretty typical for the price range. What you’d expect from 1970−80s like kitchens and bathrooms. That said I never had problems with appliances. You get what you pay for. The monthly rent is nice, but they will get you when you move out. Be prepared to pay more during your move-out than you’d expect. Management — it depends on who you run into. There are younger members who are generally snotty. When I moved out they didn’t say«thank you» or «goodbye» or anything. If you can deal directly with the manager or assistant manger your experience will be much better. Maintenance — I got along with them great. They responded quickly and did a great job. Crime — yes there are car break-ins. But that’s Albuquerque. Really not a surprise. Just don’t leave anything in your car or the doors unlocked. Some stories I heard the car owners left stuff in their car, the doors unlocked or the windows down — why? I never had a problem. Neighbors — mixed. Some young 20 year olds, some older elderly, some young families with little kids. Occasional weekend parties, nothing that was going on every night. Generally quiet after 10 pm. I gave 3 stars for the assistant manager, maintenance people, and overall friendliness of the area. If you’re nice to people, they tend to be nice back.

Not a very helpful staff. My girlfriend lives here and we’re continually let down by issues in her apartment, and those are dismissed without consideration.

Nice place to live, but they are a little slow with their paperwork processes. We moved out a month and a half ago, and do not have our deposit check still.
