Soups are amazing! We took ours to go and they they had the ingredients separate; told us how to prepare it at home to taste the best. It was a beautiful yummy thing! The fried rice is also very delicious!!! soups are definitely large enough to share! Enjoy

Viet Noodle so good when I went for lunch and this seems like it is the best noodle place to stop by.

First time here, not half bad. Perfect for a quick meal, close to(my) home and very reasonably priced. I ordered a #3 ‘rare beef phở’. Very light broth with lots of noodles and beef. I’ll surely be back on a cold night or when I’m feeling under the weather– phở is perfect to warm you up! I do wish they had disposable chop sticks…

First off, I love Vietnamese food and I’ve frequented most of the Vietnamese restaurants in Albuquerque. The location could not be more perfect for me so I really, really wanted to like this place. The first thing I noticed upon entdring the restaurant was that for 7pm it was very empty. A couple occupied one table and there was no one else in the place. The large menu behind the counter listed a few of the entrees you expect at this kind of restaurant but honestly I expected a little more. I ordered the #3 Rare Beef Phở, to go. They were fast. I probably waited about 5 minutes for my order. When I got home, which by the way is less than 1 minute from the restaurant, the first thing I nitride wad that the broth was almost cold. Phở broth should be hot, most of the time it’s so hot at other restaurants that I have to give it some serious cooling time. It was also very lightly colored, almost like chicken stock not anything like the flavorful beef broth I’m used to. The amount of Sriracha and soy sauce that were needed to make this edible was very disappointing! Stale noodles and a serious lack of beef didn’t help matters. There are plenty of options in Albuquerque for amazing Vietnamese food but sadly this is not one of them!

Vietnam noodles make a decent bowl of phở. I’m comparing this phở to my Vietnamese buddy’s mom phở. Although it’s not phở-nominal, it’ll do since it’s close to the house. Just add some sriracha and hoisin and sprouts. I prefer to boba here, it’s good.

The way I see it, Vietnamese food is always a good way to go. Light, generally healthy, simple and still somewhat creative, my general rule is that even bad Vietnamese eats can’t be all that bad. We snobs nitpick about what constitutes the phinest phở, and we have our personal faves, but on hot summer days nothing beats a cool spread of veggies, noodles, and whatever proteins fit the momentary bill. Therefore, it isn’t a big surprise that I’ve now given this place a second, third, fourth and fifth try, desperately hoping I’d find a redeeming dish, but I should’ve gotten the memo after my first bite of a spring roll. Virtually the entire wrap was stuffed with rice noodles, a cheap-o shrimp here and there, the paper was hard, the sauce was flat, and still… I ordered them again, and again, and again. Along the way I’ve tried the phở, various soups(note: this stuff won’t help the common cold) and most recently grilled chicken and rice, and vermicelli with tofu. I literally drowned the stuff in soy sauce and hot peppers to generate a little flavor. As I type, I weep. I’m a pretty generous tipper and I’m a fairly friendly reviewer; two stars basically reflects an offensive experience. In this particular venue I’ve found good service, decent pricing and an affront to Vietnamese cuisine the world over.

I love me some good Vietnamese food but with all the options Abq has to offer its kind of hard to say that Viet Noodle stood out from the rest. To me they were pretty average I mean nothing really made me want to go back. The spring rolls were loaded with noodles and nothing more, egg rolls were really good and cheap and my combo beef phở bowl was pretty bland and had poor quality meats.

Oh, I was soooo craving a big bowl of phở on a chilly day. I cannot even describe how disappointed I was in the bleh bowl I received. Other restaurants have giant, juicy shrimp… the ones here are tiny and the soup overall wad just lacking in a well rounded flavor. The service is decent abd friendly enough… It’s just they going is a let down and well… that’s what I go to restaurants for. Go to Viet rice our really anywhere else if you’re looking for decent bowl if phở.

Had read mixed reviews on Viet Noodle but it’s near where I live and I had to give it a try. Overall not bad. There is definitely better Phở in ABQ but this place was decent. I will say that their entrée prices seemed a bit overpriced(not by much) when compared with the better Phở places in town. There also seemed to be a meat shortage(e.g., shrimp, pork, chicken) on the entrees. Final verdict: not a bad neighborhood place for Phở, but there are certainly better places in town.

I wanted to like this place, but this was possibly the worst Vietnamese food I have ever had. I ordered the vermicelli with pork and two fresh spring rolls. The pork was fried instead of grilled, the portion was small, and the flavor was not there at all. But worse was the spring roll. I bit into it and it tasted like it had rotten shrimp in it. Absolutely disgusting. After that bite I left the rest untouched. They did have jasmine tea, though, and it was delicious. Until I ate here, I was under the impression that there was no such thing as bad Vietnamese. I had had mediocre Vietnamese but nothing truly bad. Now I have. And it’s not like the ABQ doesn’t have fantastic Vietnamese. It does. But you’ll have to drive to Rio Rancho for it(Phở Bar). Do yourself a huge favor and go there instead. Those guys know how to cook!

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. Maybe it’s the meats or something, but as vegetarians, we think the food is amazing. We always get the spring rolls with tofu instead of shrimp and the #23 is yummy! The owners are super friendly and sweet! And they make a delicious veggie phở for us which is much appreciated. This review is making me hungry. I’m going to order some now!

Get the 19. It is the noodles and chicken. It is amazing. I live in Taylor Rancho and this is my favorite place. The service is always friendly and fast. I’m also a big fan of the avacado shake. .

I love this place!!! The food is flavorful, perfect portioned. Drinks are delicious, and the menu has a lot of options even for kids. The service is impeccable. The best part, it’s right around the corner from my house :)

I gave this place four stars before. They must have had a strange on day or something because it’s not as good as I originally wrote. I spent $ 2 to add a few pieces of broccoli, some cabbage, and carrots today. They were obviously previously frozen and had been frost bitten. The broth was good. The noodles were gummy. Just go elsewhere — there are a lot of much better options in the 505.

Surprised by a couple of really negative reviews. My wife and I enjoyed the phở, the fried rice(both with shrimp and chicken) and the shrimp Vietnamese roll. Not superb, but solid and enjoyable food and good service.

We’ve come here a handful of times for our Phở fix – it’s pretty much the only Vietnamese place on the west side of town. This place wasn’t phenomenal, but it’s not bad either. Lots of negative reviews; not sure why. Someone mentioned they’re heavy on desserts? No idea what that’s about. There’s mention that the Phở doesn’t taste like much – well, folks, that’s why they give you condiments to flavor it the way you like. Not everyone is going to want their Phở super salty or spicy. The Phở itself is great. HUGE portions. No nonsense. If you’re looking for fancy, this isn’t your place. It’s a mom-and-pop joint with a super friendly staff that won’t charge you an arm and a leg for lunch.

I was kind of bummed to see all the negative reviews on this small business. Unless we hit this restaurant on a really, really good day, we both thought their food was great. A good spicy broth in a huge bowl, delicious firm noodles and condiments and fresh herbs were offered to us up the freggin’ wazzoo. Their drink selection was pretty vast as well. This was a fun, sunny little place with super friendly and informative staff and a clean environment too boot. I’ve yet to return but I do plan to.

I hate to write bad reviews, mostly because I know every small business owner wants to be successful and let’s face it… no one starts a business hoping they will fail. I decided to try Viet Noodle over the weekend and was so disappointed. I had the lemongrass chicken with rice. The portion was large(huge) but the food was terrible so it did not really matter. You know it is bad when you get splinters in your mouth from the lemon grass that has broken apart during the cooking process. My daughter seemed to think it was ok, she had fried rice with chicken and shrimp. I declined on her offer to try her dish but according to her, the shrimp was bad, the chicken was ok. I am a HUGE believer in second chances but I think I will be passing on future meals at Viet Noodle.
