I have to say $ 32 does not get you much at this eatery. We had two hot dogs that were not even HOT and two bowls of soup. I’m shocked they are charging $ 7.24 for a basic blah dog. Seriously!!! If you are going to charge that much for a hot dog at least make it hot and memorable. Now for the soup-we had a bowl of lasagna soup that was way over salted and a bowl of potato that was unfortunatly the best thing we ordered. I felt completely ripped off! What made it even more upsetting is the table next to us received food from Amore Pizzeria that looked delicious and was of descent portion. On the way out we reviewing their menu and no doubt would we have spent less and left with fuller bellies.

Nothing better than a nice hot soup on a cold night. Soups are filling with lots of flavor. Try the chicken noodle soup with the green chile.

Four stars for the food! We had a Sonora Dog and some amazingly delicious green chile chicken soup. The set up is a little unconventional, as it looks more like a tiny food court than an actual restaurant with picnic table type seating. When we dined in, it was absolutely freezing… Like leave your coat on while you eat and try not to spill soup on yourself because it’s dry clean only, but you can’t possibly take it off, freezing. Additionally, I’d like to meet the person who thought it was a good idea to put a functional fitness gym on the second floor of a facility made out of shipping containers, because there logic fascinates me. Throughout the entire meal we heard loud, loud, loud crashing and booming. When we finally asked what the deal was, we were told that the folks at the gym upstairs like to throw medicine balls on floor, which may make for a great workout but makes for a rather noisy dining experience for those below. In summation, take your SoupDog to go, or wait a few months for the weather to warm up so you can enjoy the spacious open patio that Green Jeans boasts.

This place is awesome! The food is full of flavor. If you order anything with chili its going to have heat to it. My absolute favorite is the lasagna soup! It may not be on the menu but just ask for it. The employees are friendly, helpful and willing to answer questions. I love the fact that you can see right in to the beautiful super clean cook and meal prep areas in the kitchen. We have eaten here several times and haven’t been disappointed yet!

Awesome soup and dogs. Some Lousiana flavor(gumbo, cray fish), some home style(chicken noodle) and some New Mexican(green chile stew). All awesome. In the Green Jean plaza

I’m a little shocked at all the great reviews. I ordered the pig chips dip combo and felt fairly ripped off. There was a bizarre mash of flavors going on that didn’t make sense or harmonize. Like, the small portion of ribbon potatoes had a strong lime flavor mixed in with the season salts. The hot dog was clearly boiled, and the breading was tough, and greasy. The dips were equally bizarre, lacking flavor and relying on spiciness to carry them.

Delicious creamy green chili chicken stew! It’s not so creamy that the soup is cream colored, but the perfect amount of cream to make it just a little thick. Wonderful, perfect heat roasted green chiles. Hubby got a hot dog… Can’t remember what it was called. The bacon wrapped one with beans on it– very tasty!

The staff is wonderful and their food is delicious. The dogs are out of this world just like the atmosphere! As a New Mexican native and Albuquerque resident who loves food I give this place five stars!!!

I’ve been on a mission to try every place in Green Jeans, and SoupDog looked so good, it was first on my list! They have lots of Soup and lots of Dogs. Haha, seriously though, they have lots of unique items with a great New Mexican twist on them! I tried the Hatch Green Chile Dog and it was fantastic! A friend had one of the soups, and she loved it! An awesome part of SoupDog is they’ll walk it over to anywhere in Green Jeans. Our server/cashier was even nice enough to come by after we finished to make sure we enjoyed it. I’ll definitely be back to try some of the other interesting options on the menu. Keep it up, SoupDog!

I’ve heard so much about this new spot and I have a friend who truly loves hot dogs and I myself love soup. Owners are super friendly always willing to accommodate your order, small shop among other delicious food stands. Not a place for groups due to seating. Food was delicious my hot dog was terrific and the green Chile chicken noodle soup is spot on! Tasty, spicy, hot what more can one ask for? Drinks come in cans or bottles depending on what you order. Seating is a but crazy since sd shares the space with several other stands. It was freezing cold and windy when we went but we were lucky enough to find a table indoors. They do have an elevator for those in need of one which I think is a terrific idea without it my friend couldn’t go up to the patio. Yes I will return and I well take my father since he loves hot, spicy food and I know he will love the soups. Wtg SD!

Tried the Green Chile Soup definitely some spicy madness. I’m definitely a huge con·nois·seur of Dogs, I had a successful business in AZ over 10 years ago way back when people weren’t even familiar with the craze of Food Truck/Vending businesses so excited to try their dogs out, next time around. One thing I will alss point out that the couple are very friendly & sweet and I love to SUPPORTSMALLLOCAL who really put their heart & soul into a business. Looking forward to my return!

Dropped in with my wife for lunch as we were out doing some Christmas shopping. We basically tried all of the offerings. We had chips & queso, old school hot dog, Creamy green chili chicken soup and the chicken noodle soup, a soda and an iced tea. Spent $ 32.00 plus change. The lady at the front was very nice and their customer service is off the charts. The soup was outstanding full of flavor and very thick. Stick to your ribs type of soup!(YUM!!) Chips and queso were good. Queso was spicy but the chips by themselves were bland. As far as the dogs go it was a good dog. I prefer my dogs with a little snap when you bite into it. These were just kind of mushy and cold in the middle of the dog. Not sure how they prepare the dogs whether it is steaming or boiling them but a few minutes on the flat grill would improve them immensely. We will return.

The food is really good. You wouldn’t expect the food to be that good being that the concept seems to be more casual but it is. It truly surprised me when both the soups and hot dogs have a homemade taste and you can’t help but want more after the first bite. I am definitely coming back. I hope they open more locations.

They have a green chile chicken soup that is so good! It is definitely on the hot side when it comes to chile. Cleared my sinuses right up! Lol. They are lacking a bit with chicken and noodles. But it was still very good.

Pretty good dawg! I came here during a cold rainy day… And it hit the spot! The gumbo was amazing. And Ahhh their queso… Just get it in everything. It’s worth the heartburn!

I can’t speak to the dogs, but the soup is awesome. Tried both the cream of green chili chicken and the corn and crawfish chowder. Both were superb. Check this place out asap.

This restaurant is part of the new Green Jean shipping container project located at Carlisle and I-40. It is tucked in a small space in a corner. Great idea for people of different tastes. I love soup, but my husband does not. He does however like hot dogs! Perfect for the two of us. Order at the window and wait. Dh ordered the NM Dog. Red and green chile with cheese on a delicious baked bun with everything. The chile comes from Hatch so it is quite tasty and a bit spicy. Perfect for those chilly nights. Our friend ordered the Beer Brat. Each liked their dog! I ordered the New Orleans meets New Mexico Gumbo. WOW!!! Thick, rich, and filling! Next time I will ask if I can add green chile to it. We shall see! The soup of full of flavor and not salty like some soups tend to be. Ingredients were fresh and well cooked. After eating his dog our friend wanted to try the Green Chile Chicken Noodle Soup. Another hit! He loved it. The chile was a little warm for him, but probably was not that hot. You can order to go or eat on the benches in the container housing this business. We ordered to go and headed to Santa Fe Brewery! Excellent pairing!!!
