For y’all not in the know, it’s «Stee-​lo».
I wasn’t in the know until, oh, about three weeks ago. In Nob Hill, everything changes so quickly (geezer phrase!) I often miss the newest and kewlest. So I’m late in the game on Stilo, but no longer. Around ABQ there are very, very few shopping boutiques that measure up to my five star pedigree. Truth be told, it’s exceptionally difficult to find places that nail the Local with flair, personality and honest pricing. This little den of urban heaven nails Burque.
Want cheap? Check out some of the featured local artists that craft artistically rendered tees, crocheted hats, window stickers and absolutely DOPE artwork along the walls and racks. The place drowns in local love and it’ll give ya an idea of what’s to come for our dear city, you know, that city you wish you were living in. It’s coming. Stilo is in on the revolution. Women will find and spend more at this shop but men are more than invited, there’s plenty to dig on in these racks. Areas of the store are segregated into product displays as you migrate towards the back, bearing beauty products and various accessories, alongside a smattering of amazing local artists (need I mention this again? GREAT art). Service is upfront and informative, totally not pressured.
Seriously, the place makes me think of so many small shops in cities where the Local is truly celebrated and they ain’t out to rip you off. It’s on my permanent shopping list. I can find something for (almost) everybody here, so stop in this holiday season.

Stilo is a locally owned, one of a kind store in Nob Hill. It’s an awesome little shop! They’ve got gifts, unique apparel, wall art by local artists, and awesome handcrafted jewelry – all with some urban flare to it!
I recently bought my sister a hand crafted bronze (anatomically correct heart) necklace. Every gift I’ve ever gotten for friends and family here are a hit. They have handbags, makeup bags, ties, and much more. Before we were married, my husband got 99% of the gifts he bought me at Stilo and I was always happy to have something so different and beautiful!
