Tricore Reference Labs

This Tricore location was very clean. The waiting room was a bit small but it wasn’t crowded at the time I went so it dident really matter. I can only imagine how crowded the waiting room is when it is busy.
The service was exceptionally fast. They got me in and out in 15 minutes. Also the guy who took my blood was very friendly.

Yes, I’m reviewing this place. I’ve been here a few times and really find the location very accommodating. If you spend any length of time at the downtown Tricore, you will know that this outpatient lab is very clean, nice and the staff is nice and helpful.
Get you in, get you out. Nice clean waiting room and bathrooms. Parking is good. In and out of the building is easy and easy to find from Coors.

Ok! I get it. A blood draw lab could never really get three stars, but I have to say, based on many visits here, I will not go anywhere else. First, over the past year, I have noticed the same techs. Not so much turn over which is a great thing because
1. I hate needles
2. I hate getting blood drawn more than item 1.
3. I like to have to positively persuade people minimally (not big on having to threaten) which because of a sordid past with needles, I have to disclose that at age 5, apparently I bit a nurse over a tetanus shot. I still believe she deserved it.
That said, I have had nothing but positive experiences here.
1. The staff is professional, well trained, courteous, and very efficient. There procedure is the same every time, and they can process people quickly.
2. While the lobby is a bit cramped, they have clean chairs (they are not typical of health care setting chairs that look like they are infested with the plague). Also, they have a good selection of magazines.
3. The facility is clean and bright.
4. The techs are very good… as far as vampires go, they are the best as a matter of fact.
So, if you need a blood draw, and this location is close, you can get the draw early so you can get back to eating if you are fasting, or back to your job.
Hence, I added a bonus star, and while I recognize that the top end of a blood draw lab should never go higher than three stars, they really are a five start location, so I will add an additional double bonus star!
