Had the Sicilian sub sandwich. At least a two meal sub. Fantastic!, I am hooked! Went next door to the bakery, got a Napoleon pastry. Fresh raspberry cream, a must have. This place is a keeper! 10 star

Tully’s to the rescue! My friend’s father passed away and I found myself in California looking for something other than flowers to send to the memorial. I found Tully’s by searching for delivery services nearby and thought an Antipasti platter would be perfect. Johnny took my call at 9am this morning and was super friendly and accommodating despite my last minute request of a same day delivery. My friend and her family were thrilled to receive a giant, gorgeous, and delicious platter 3 hours later and said the driver was extraordinarily friendly. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Lived in Albuquerque from 1980 – 2001 and never tried this wonderful place until today. The bread is heavenly and the sandwich ingredients were so fresh. Very impressed with Tully’s and can’t wait to try the DiMaggio when I’m back in town.

The 2 stars are for the Cannoli cream. Other than that, run far, run fast, just run. The bakery and the deli are just Faux Italian. Not real Italian. Not even Walmart sells frozen mozzarella. Very limited in the bakery, they don’t even know what an Italian cookie looks like. Though they did get the Wedding cookie right. I had to tell them how to make a dipped Italian biscuit. Both places are not inviting at all, and a bit run down and dinghy. Either the owners never stepped foot in a real Italian Deli and Bakery, or they have, but forgot all about the smells, the ambiance, aprons, homemade mozzarella sitting in water at the counter. A few old wooden meats hanging from the rafters don’t cut it. And $ 15 per pound for rainbow cookie? And 12 – 15 bucks for a hero? You might as well get a sandwich made up at Albertson’s for half the price, and a cleaner atmosphere. Traveled quite a ways to get here, and sorely disappointed barely covers our feelings.

Wow, I can’t believe that Tully’s gets such good reviews. We tried two of their subs, and both were mediocre. The bread isn’t hard and crusty like fresh Italian bread ought to be. There was nothing special about the meat, and the best that one could say about the seasoning is that it wasn’t offensive, or that it was subtle. In other words, these were just straightforward subs, with normal meat on subpar bread, like you could make at home, except that for these you have to drive to get them and pay $ 10 each. It’s a shame that Albuquerque doesn’t have a legit Italian sub shop.

The one star is only because I had to. First off walking into this restaurant, the owner was sitting down enjoying lunch with a female companion. He did not greet me, someone did come out of the back to take my order. After going through the menu and having him make a few suggestions I decided to place my order, asking what exactly came on my sub and making a few additions. After forking out over $ 12 for a can of soda and a sub I was on my way. Upon my arrival to my office and opening my lunch, was my disappointment. There was a sub that not only was lacking all of my additions was FILLED with old brown lettuce, olives, and tomatoes NONE of which I ordered or were listed on the menu. I can surely say I will NOT be returning.

I have had Tully’s cater two events for me so far. My graduation last May and recently a surprise birthday party for my mother. Both events have gone wonderfully. The staff is very knowledgeable and ready to please. The location is clean and well taken care of. The food is incredible! After ordering a couple days ahead, upon arrival, my food was ready and came with instructions on how to heat. Everyone, at both occasions, we satisfied and happy with how the food turned out. I have also had a sandwich at Tully’s before. It was delicious. Will return to Tully’s in the future for both catering and lunch visits.

Hands down my favorite place to eat in town. I’ve been coming here since I was young. Tully’s is better than your italian grandmother would make it… but really. My favorite sub is the Joe DiMaggio, but I will actually eat anything in this place because it is so good. One of my favorite things to also get is their frozen meals. These are great for anyone who works like a maniac, but would like a nice home cooked meal every once in a while. They have fantastic sauce and basically if you are italian you will be in heaven. Also if you go, you have to go next door to the bakery. The pignoli cookies will change your life I promise.

Ok — not bad. Not bad at all. My only suggestion is something I could simply remedy on my next visit — please put the dressing in the sandwich verses on top. It’ll help moisten up the experience a bit. Picky? No, not really… It’s all about the eating logistical experience too. :). Side note — I had to use the restroom while I waited so they had me walk Down to their bakery two doors Down. Two words…“Holy S*+T! No, not their bathroom, their cookies. I’m not a big cookie guy but i love almost anything lemon or almond. That said, in this place, I was not making it out alive. For God sakes, they had a 100% pure almond paste cookie for $ 28.99/lb. that works out to about $ 1.70/cookie. People of Albuquerque — GETYOUR«arses» INTOTHISPLACEANDTRYONE! amazing cookies, seriously. I also tried their lemon cookies and these almond butter finger cookies — also very very good. This is a great place except for one thing — THEYDONTHAVEONIONS??? Seriously? Any sub/sandwich shop that doesn’t have at least one onion in their walk-in will never get a «5» rating — go get an onion and I’ll be happy to update this :) — No onions? Crazy…

So excited to pick up our cherry pie today, Christmas Eve, as scheduled and Tully’s is closed with no apparent notice and total disregard for our pre-arranged pick up time. Very disappointed.

«Also, the prices seemed a bit high for what you get(a sub with Boar’s Head meats and cheeses).» — Is this reviewer on drugs? High quality meats/cheeses/etc Massive sandwiches Inexpensive $ 6.50 for a massive half sandwich, chips, and drink too much? Stick to Ramen and canned tuna. I can’t believe I went so long in this city without knowing about this little gem. I will never go to a Subway again Tully’s is cheaper, MUCH higher quality, and you get more. Half Tully’s note: pricing on Unilocal should reflect the half sub combo at the $ 6.50 That is more than enough for one adult human.

Dropped by this weekend for a roast beef and havarti dill sandwich. And yes, a pumpkin cannoli. Ate it in the car, got the windows all steamy, someone heard sounds of ecstacy and called the cops, had to explain myself, it’s just a cannoli sir — then he went inside and said, «I’ll have what she’s having.»

I love Tully’s! A little bit of nostalgia and a lot of great food. My Italian Mom shopped here for years, so now that I’ve moved to Albuquerque it’s my go to place to stock up for the big Italian meal. I load up on frozen pastas and imported cheeses. When you don’t feel like going to the trouble of making pasta yourself, these pastas are no doubt the best you can get in Albuquerque. It has a feel like a big city old-fashioned corner market place! Try their«stuffed bread«it’s yummy! And of course you have to stop in at their bakery next-door! It’s not safe to go in for a calorie explosion, but it’s a must.

While my wife wasn’t impressed with the sandwiches, I really enjoyed it. We had the turkey sandwiches, and the turkey was nice and moist and the bread was good too, which always seems to make the sandwich for me. The service was quick, the restaurant portion(there is a small Italian market inside too) was clean and the servers were friendly. I’ll be back.

Just discovered this place. I had the meatball sandwich and it was beyond excellent! It’s big, on fresh baked bread and very filling. Also, on Fridays only, they sell these Panaccio baked bread stuffed with cheese and pepperoni things. I highly recommend trying these. Big enough to feed a family of 3 possibly 4. I will be coming back for sure!

Wow! What a sandwich! What a place! I felt a little disappointed walking out only to find myself back in Albuquerque. While I was there I felt like I was back East, eating at a little place off 7th Ave. I ordered a sandwich called the Godfather, but I had them add capocollo ham to it. For those of you not in know it’s pronounced gabbagoul. This thing was a masterpiece! I got a little jealous when another patron got his meatball sub, I was tempted to ask him to trade me half his sub, for half of mine. His sub smelled delicious. After my lunch I strolled next door to Saratori’s Di Tully. This place is owned by the same family and is an Italian pastry shoppe. After such a great lunch I figured I’d treat myself to a canolli(make sure to pronounce this with a «G» as well) Tully’s also has authentic Italian food items for all you do it yourselfers out there. But for those of us who can’t cook, let these professionals handle the task for you.

Wow! This is as good as I hoped it would be. I had the Al Pacino and my wife had the meatball sub. If there is a better sub in ABQ someone please tell me, but it won’t stop me from getting my fix from Tully’s!

AMAZING!!! cant say it much better. Had the Siciliana and was absolutely blown away. Probably the best sandwich I have ever had in this country and definitely the best in this state. Brad was fluffy and soft, meats were fresh and flavorful and the mozzarella was soft and fill of taste. Needless to say there is nothing better!!!

UPDATE: I don’t mind paying over $ 10 for a sandwich but the last 3 times I was here the bread has been stale.(SADFACE)! Here I am, an Italian in New Mexico always missing my subs and it took me almost 6(long) years to discover this diamond in the rough. The bread is homeade, the sandwiches are huge and the meats and cheeses are delectable. Also, this store carries a bunch of imported treats from pasta to Italian antacid. Their prices are a little on the high side, about $ 10+ for a sandwich, but trust me, it’s worth it. From the Al Pacino to the Al Capone to the Godfather, there is a sandwich for everyone. The Prosciutto and the Provolone are authentic and worth the trip down to this awesome Italian deli. We also tried their sweet turkey sausage(not bad) and I’d like to try their meatballs, touted as «homeade with Mamas Marinara sace».
