My husband and I originally tried Twisters because it was part of the Breaking Bad tour. We enjoyed it so much, though, that we proceeded to eat it two more times while in town. Between us we’ve had the Albuquerque, South Valley, Rio Grande, and others and all have been excellent. The staff is great. The menu was overwhelming the first time ordering but the staff was super helpful and went above and beyond with explanations. The restaurant is postered with signs, one staying Twisters has the best burrito in Albuquerque for the past four years. They have our vote! Did I mention Twisters is incredibly affordable? Our order of two burritos is just $ 8!

You know what? I was pleasantly surprised by Twisters. I usually go to Torino’s, but they’re closed on Mondays(lazy Europeans …), so I was hungry and forced to scavenge. Now, I’ve been to the Hello Deli which is right next door, but I honestly wasn’t that impressed with what they had to offer. So, I turned to Twister’s, in the hopes that they’d have a decent breakfast burrito. Lo and behold, they not only have a breakfast burrito, they have several to choose from. Score! My next fear was that I was going to get a low quality mass-produced burrito because Twisters is a chain(although I’ve only seen them in ABQ). To my surprise, not a bad burrito at all. It wasn’t a gourmet arrangement, but it came wrapped in foil(at my request) and was perfectly delicious and transportable. Also, to top it all off, the burrito was affordable.
