I was upstairs during my experience and no one was waiting up there. A waiter noticed us up there and took our order. He told us he would most likely take long to check on us because he wasn’t waiting upstairs. The food was OK. I got the chicken and it was very fatty, but the mozzarella sticks were amazing.

I’m giving two stars based on past good experiences, but tonight was 1 star. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich(one of their recommended masks according to the menu, so they should have nailed it) and it was terrible. No blue cheese on it. Batter was soggy. Chicken was chewy. Lettuce was wilted. Worst one I have ever had. I should have sent it back, but I just never do that. Beer was good though.

Came here with a friend for the $ 2 Tuesday, they have a huge selection of draft beers and they are only $ 2. This includes local brews like tractor and marble which I love so if you come here, go on a Tuesday. I was really into this place for a few months! If you get the right server things can go smoothly that’s FOSHO. But unfortunately I have had 50⁄50 chance of bad service. Some of the waitresses can be a little too much for me. I’ve seen a waitress accuse a man of «dining and dashing» when he just walked in with his group. It was very uncomfortable. I gave this place another chance and then was personally harassed by a waitress. I have however had some decent service but there are places around town that you won’t have these issues. But if you like unprofessional waitresses and bad service this could be your spot!

I’m a Vikings fan and went because the internet told me it was a Vikings bar. There were fans there, but be aware that it isn’t really a bar scene, it is a «pub and grille,» so it is mainly just people there with their families, not people looking to meet and talk to other fans. But the worst part about the experience was getting there just before 4 on an NFL Sunday, and the waitress did not know the drink specials, and also refused to serve drinks on happy hour until 4, when it was 10 minutes to 4 and I would have been there a few hours. It was royally disappointing for a so-called Vikings bar! I came in repping my jersey and everything. When I lived in Phoenix, even a non-Vikings bar served purple and yellow shooters for a few bucks each on game day. Please improve!

Be prepared for hit or miss service. The next time I drop in, I need to find the good waiters and waitresses, find out their names, and always sit in their sections. The last time my Significant Other and I stopped by, we sat and waited for someone to come to our table for about ten minutes. No one came. So, we switched tables from the east side pool area to the opposite end — the near the restrooms. Someone visited our table within a minute, and took our orders. About five minutes later, anther waitress attempted to take our order, but we told her that we were already being helped. So strange that the workers have zero communication between themselves. They all need to be assigned a minimum of three tables, and then they can be given more if they can handle it. I say this because our waitress seemed so stressed out that she did not even smile after awhile. Yikes! I had to tell the manager to check on her employees to ensure they were doing okay. The manager said she would. Remember when I said this place is hit or miss? That was a messy miss. Yet, there are good days here where you do get really great service. Just try your luck. As for the food, it is average(nothing bad, nothing great). So, why come here? Fox & Hound Pub & Grill is good for groups; there are televisions; they have two floors; they have decent specials(like the Tuesday $ 2.00 pints); they carry local beer selections, and the managers are caring. Now, only if they can hire consistently great waitresses and waiters, then they will have at least four stars.

Busy night. Good service. Good fries. Nice menu. But their BBQ chicken pizza was gross I only ate one bite and I would’ve complained but Bridgett was sweet and the guys I was with said they would eat it.(you know men) haha. Anyways. Compared to Applebee’s and other places in the area it was the better choice. Reasonably priced.

My friend and I went to this place since it was close by to my hotel and wanted to get some drinks and something to eat. I waited almost 15 minutes to get a waitress to help us. We had three waitresses pass us by even giving us eye contact but totally ignored us. The food I ordered was nothing special. Definitely not recommending this place.

Went here for a draft party yesterday. Got a $ 50 food credit for having it here. Appetizers we ordered were very good especially the chicken wings.

Went here last Tuesday for $ 2 drafts and apparently every waitress assumes her tip is going to reflect the discounted prices. A group of 5 of us sat upstairs and we had better chances of seeing a blue moon than our waitress. Not once did she come over to our table to see how we were doing. The only way I could ask for a refill is flagging her down when she came upstairs to bring another table their food. Throughout the entire night(taking our order, bringing food) she was extremely sassy and rude. Not a good experience service wise. In addition, to play pool there it costs $ 11 an hour which is flat out ridiculous. There are other bars in Albuquerque where it is free. The food was mediocre and took forever to come out. Overall, not an enjoyable experience.

The service is horrendous which is the only reason it brings me to this review. I love the beer selection and they have Cuban micheladas that I can drink way to fast but they’re so yummy. So let me tell you about my experience, our server was done with her shift so she asked to close us out. She gave a promise of a server coming back to check and well after all three of us sat with an empty glass for about 10 minutes. I turn around and guess what? There was 5 servers sitting down and all chit chatting with their friend who came in for drinks. Our servers who was leaving was also seating there. So I tap the girl behind me and asked for a drink. She said oh no I’m not your server let me find out who your person is. She then comes back and says oh wait never mind it is me. Ok… Whatever I just want beer and tvs and never an empty glass. So the final straw was when she said the credit card system was broken. And if we could wait or just wanted to pay cash. The guy that was with our party asked her how much it was so he could pay cash. Anyways she gladly took the cash. I observe another server swip someone’s card and close out their tab. So she was pocketing the money assuming so because we never got a receipt. I hope the owners catch this because that’s not cool for the business well being.

This place blows ass. Worst customer service of all time. Foods just ok and drinks are overpriced. Any place in town would be a better choice.

I SO badly wanted this place to be better. It was nicer than Applebees, more sporty than Red Robin, and the waitresses wore way more clothing than Hooters. It’s the hybrid of all of those, in my opinion. I had the tomato soup, and it was actually really good. But, in all honesty, it tasted like my Progresso soup, which I have enough to question if the restaurant might be up to some shaky business there. And, for $ 5 a bowl, I could have 5 times the amount if I bought it in the store. Good place to go with larger groups; they’re accommodating.

PROs: Great beer selection, food prep and food presentation. Outstanding service and layout of the restaurant. Cheap prices and lots of seating as well. CONs: Outer room near entrance smells like really old uncleaned beer, but main bar area was clean. Bathroom was less than clean in the mens room. Didn’t have 2 of the beers I ordered off of the menu and didn’t have the first food item I requested. Had to go with different selections. I would recommend this place for a guys night out or a date with someone your already close with. Not a blind date or someone your trying to get to know.

Fox and Hound is your quintessential sports bar. Lots and lots of TV’s in every room. They show all the NFL games, of course, and a bunch of other stuff when it’s the off season. Of course, that’s largely why I come, as F&H is also the home of the Minnesota Vikings Fan Club. Don’t worry, we usually allow fans of other teams there too. Except Packers fans. You’ll have to go elsewhere. The food is pretty dang good. I know, weird, but true. Their portions are good and the food has always been served correctly and promptly. Their beer selection is good. Don’t look for anything terribly exotic, but they do have a nice selection of local basics. They also have pool tables and dart boards, and a nice upstairs as well. See you there for the next Vikes game. Skol!

Their menu is so limited. Decent beer selection, but you better want alcohol, cause there is not much else to drink. I know it’s a chain, but they are in New Mexico, for chile’s sake! Can’t they offer a breakfast burrito or something? The pretzel sticks are great, and there are some other food items we enjoy. The waitresses could be much better — none of them seem to care and it appears that management sucks, so everyone seems unhappy to be at work. Overall — one visit is fine, but making it a weekly habit(as we have for the Vikings Fan Club) is not good. They need to step up the menu and provide better options, as well as more drink options. Not a place I would recommend.

Have been going to the Fox and Hound for the past eight weeks straight as it is where I host the Minnesota Vikings Fan Club events. The waitresses have always been great to work with, the prices are standard, and they are centrally located. When you are there for games, they have a handy chart you can pick up at the hostess station showing what games are on what screens in what parts of the tavern. We are lucky to have the biggest screen for the Vikings game! Another great feature is their All Star Club. If you know you are going to go there, sign up for the club online and you will get an email which will give you a FREE sandwich or burger. When you are at the tavern, you can get the plastic rewards card which you can match up with your online account. Present the card each time you go so that you can earn points towards free stuff or discounts later. At a recent Thursday night game they had a FREE buffet of bratwurst, potato skins, green beans, rolls, etc. Was a tasty spread and you could have all you wanted to eat.

Great place to watch any sport and the food is getting better. I go to Fox and Hound with friends for happy hour or to watch sport games. The service is always up to par and they are always fully staffed. Great parking and plenty of room for larger parties.
