Worst breakfast I’ve had in Albuquerque. Value meal omelet and potatoes were running with water. Xmas Chile was tasteless. Muffin was not toasted as requested. Coffee was weak. I guess you get what you pay for. Would not return, even for a free meal. Go elsewhere if you can.

Fantastic food, great service, friendly, homey atmosphere. Best green chili I’ve ever had. Stopped here on the way to Taos and will be stopping on the way back through!

Love love love wecks! The food was delicious and our server Jojo was supper friendly! My Hubby ordered the Huevos rancheros and he was so happy with them he said they were the best he’s ever had and I ordered the biscuits and gravy witch I was extremely satisfied with. Will definitely be going back and requesting Jojo again she made our visit one we won’t forget. Thank you Jojo!

Good food, friendly staff. I usually order the BIGPIG with Mixed Green & Red. I often take half of it home. A 4 egg omelet with a mega amounts of meat — sausage, bacon, ham, Avavado, onions, & Mushrooms. With them serving both breakfast & lunch, we can easily change up our orders. but rarely do. When they are packed busy, we try to find another place to eat. Wait times can go up to an hour or more. We like that the manager comes by each table to check on service. And If you want to take your drink with you, they offer a 32 oz plastic cup to go.

Went in for breakfast on a Saturday. It was really busy but the staff greeted and seated us quickly. The food was only ok but not much to complain about. I had huevos rancheros and coffee. Service was good!

Favorite spot in town for lunch! They have a delicious veggie sandwich filled with guacamole fresh veggies and topped with sunflower seeds served with a side of homemade potato chips. My grandmother and I are regulars at this location and also Juan tabos as well the staff is always welcoming at both. Also I like that the shift manager comes and always checks on how everything went. It’s nice to know they care about customer service. No complaints yet! Be back soon!

First Let me state that our service was excellent! Mandi did a great job on recommending items, filling our drinks and giving us to go refills! I had the half sandwich with green chili stew. It was a lot of food and included iced tea! I will definitely visit again when staying in the area.

Loved our 1st trip to Wreck’s! Breakfast of champions. We arrived early; before 8 on a Holiday. Seating was easy breezy. It looks like a few hours later and we would have been waiting. Service was prompt and super friendly. Our server was helpful, anticipated our needs, and was really polite. The manager stopped by to check in and we had only good things to say. The restaurant and bathrooms are very clean. The décor is kind of French Country, but the food is straight New Mexican Americana. The menu is great, lots of breakfast classics with plenty of New Mexico infused. Love the green chili on everything, but it was HOT this am :) I especially appreciated the different sizes of portions and the healthy options on the menu. I love a big breakfast but try to eat responsibly. The food arrived hot and fast. Everything we ate was delicious. The country gravy with ham and sausage was a hit for my husband. I had the sloppy bowl, hash browns, gravy, and an egg. Green chili and a tortilla on the side. It was the smaller size option and I still couldn’t finish it. Super delicious, spicy, salty, and lots of textures. We will be back for sure! Thanks Wreck’s.

My family and I decided to take a mini vacation to Albuquerque from Colorado. Some coworkers told us we had to try this place so we decided to go for breakfast. It was amazing!!! The portions were huge! The green chile was to die for. We had 6 people and only spent about 62 bucks. The servicer we had(Josh) was genuinely sweet. He made our experience at Weck’s that much more memorable. The décor was cute. Almost like an Italian restaurant that was serving Homemade Mexican food. I highly recommend this place It’s was delicious!!!

We went to Weck’s this morning for breakfast. The portions are huge. I suggest sharing your meal or taking some home for a second meal. The service was good! The coffee is expensive and not great, unfortunately. We had the hazelnut coffee which is a little better than the regular… But definitely not worth the price. I wish that they had more less expensive, smaller and healthier meals to offer. The green and red chile sauces are delicious. The French toast was great. I was disappointed that they didn’t offer a waffle. What kind of breakfast place has no waffles? Anyway… We will be back of course!

Innnnnnteresting. From word of mouth, I tried this place since«you can’t live in Albuquerque and never eat at Weck’s!» So I’ve heard. The décor looked like Hobby Lobby exploded on their walls. Enough said. It wasn’t bad, pretty typical diner food. Our service was excellent– I don’t think my coffee cup was ever less than half empty. The food was tasty, but the papas are just normal hashbrowns. I guess I was expecting something a little more… Unique, since that’s what they’re known for apparently. A great place to bring your family and friends for brunch. Knowing me and my friends, I’ll more than likely be back. I’ll try something else, and hopefully can add a star!

The last day of my trip to New Mexico in March 2013 I had a few hours before my flight and wanted to have a breakfast burrito. Fortunately I stumbled across this place. Had an amazing breakfast burrito with green chile sauce. Also a buttered and grilled sweet roll. Both were delicious and I was stuffed. I didn’t need to eat anything the rest of the day. A great find.

First time eating here. I was greeted within a few seconds of walking in. The décor inside is not cluttered and has a carefully placed which is east on the eye. From the time i sat Jojo greeted me with great smile. springy personality. She is by far the best server i have encountered. Food is very flavorful and portions sizes are almost for 2 people. but hey who doesnt Luke leftovers :-).

We LOVE Weck’s. I personally don’t find it greasy or overpriced as some others have mentioned. I guess it depends on what you order and how picky of a person you are. My personal favorite is the Bowl of Papas — Christmas of course. The amount of food you get is actually two meals worth and if you ask them to put half of it in a to go container before they bring it out it just makes it even easier to make 1 meal into 2. The serving staff is always excellent-we have NEVER been treated poorly or ignored and they cater to every odd request we have. If you have a sweeter tooth go for the cinnamon role or the Full Belly French Toast. So good! They have a good selection of hot tea choices and usually have a flavorful coffee option as well. The value you get our of your entire experience here is ridiculously good. Yes there are other local places that have great menus and great value as well but Weck’s is right there with them. You don’t have 10 locations if you’re a bad restaurant. Also… They serve breakfast and lunch all day so it’s the best of both worlds.

Ever since I moved here people have talked about Weck’s. «You’ve GOT to go to Weck’s.» «You haven’t been to Weck’s?» «We went to Weck’s.» Want to go to Weck’s?” «No.» «No.» «Oh.» «Not especially.» Well, after living here for 6 years I finally went to Wecks. I was unimpressed with the greasy, over-fried food and baffled at the high prices. There are many local spots that serve better for less. It’s basically a glorified diner. I will say the waitress was on top of her game which always makes for a decent experience. However, I probably won’t fall in to this trap again. Sorry, locals. Not bad, but I can’t reccomend it wholeheartedly.
