Been here before(only because I was hungry and I was right next door to them with a client) and the pizza was good… but here is why I am giving it 2 stars and spending my time to write a review. A pizza place, or any restaurant for that matter, who spends the time, money, and energy to advertise a website, and an innovative idea CANT conveniently forget to include the price of the pizza on the website. Maybe it is somewhere hidden on some random page, but, really? If you have a single universal price for your pizza(which I only know because it is mentioned on the page), then it should take 5 – 10MILLISECONDS for a consumer to see the price on the page… do you really think consumers are so stupid that they will fall for marketing and CALL to ORDER a pizza that they dont know the price for? This is happening more and more often with franchises and it begs the question whether they think all americans, irrespective of their income level, are dumb as pizza boxes. Fuck your stupid pizza franchise… Ill go to dions and order a veggie pizza… may not be as ‘fresh’ or all natural as your pizza(which I look for in my prepared foods), but im not paying a dime to be fooled into thinking that a company should prosper by fooling americans to be less informed than they already seem to be regarding food choices… pretty website, though… Good Luck

Can’t discern an appreciable difference between whole wheat, thin crust or traditional crust although my wife prefers the traditional over thin crust. Quick service. Have to say the oatmeal raisin cookie is as close to a perfect cookie as I’ve ever had.

Wise Pies is basically a Subway, but where you build your own pizza. There is a Wise Pies conveniently located close to my work. I usually go here after the lunch rush because sometimes this location can get super busy. You can either pick a pizza off their menu or build your own. Once you are finished picking your toppings they send your pizza down the conveyor belt oven. The whole process takes less than 5 – 10 minutes. Pizzas come out hot and fresh. The pizza portion is definitely made for one person. I am usually satisfied after eating a whole pie.

The pizza we got was mediocre at best and overpriced. We gave in to the hype and wanted to try it out, and were left very unsatisfied. Not terrible, but not worth your money. Customer service was good, though, so two stars.

First time at Wise Pies. Great price and pizza cooks pretty fast and is actually pretty good…. I was impressed with the taste and the service. All the pizzas are personal 9 inch size with a great variet of toppings to chose from. You can also build your own. I will definitely be back.

Stopped in to grab lunch before our flight back East. Didn’t have much time, and thought a sit down meal would be out of the question. But the service was speedy and friendly. Plenty of choices, thin crust meat lovers with extra cheese was decent, and the entire stop took 15 min. Amazing. Sunny outdoor table helped me relax, though it is right on a busy road. And then there was the table of unsupervised kids next to us — hanging off the railing above the street right in front of the sign that says to «Keep Off».. . I’m deducting stars for that, and the grease puddle on the pie that I soaked up with a napkin.

What can I say, the pizza is excellent, even the green chile and customer service. I just think the price is really high and that they don’t give you enough food, and I’m a skinny guy. I think I will stick to Dion’s. Also my wife and I thought that the place smelled like a bathroom covered up with bathroom air freshener, instead of pizza.

Love this place — even more so now that they added a combo meal or pizza and salad! What to expect? Think of a SubWay for pizza… They prepare your pizza for you as you tell them what you want and about the time you get your drink and sit down they are bringing out the order. Customer service is awesome as is the food. They could turn down the music a bit though…

I have been here a few times sine they opened and they have always been consistent with food quality and excellent service. The«wise guy«motif is fun including the names of their pizzas. The location can be tricky for parking since there are a few businesses that share the parking lot. My only complaint is that the pizza size is a little small and that there is only one size.

I often get told that I eat a little too much pizza. Oh well, it’s probably that Italian gene that is embedded somewhere deep down. Anyhow, today I decided to give this place a whirl for lunch and was not disappointed. They offer personal sized gourmet pizza that you can choose from the menu or you can create your own for the same price. They have several types of crust to choose from which is a big plus because I am devoted to eating whole wheat. The whole process from selecting the toppings to receiving your delicious pie takes about 6 minutes. In my opinion this place is the pizza equivalent to a subway but so much cooler because it is local. The portions are good for one person per pie. So, if you are bringing more than one person, be sure to keep that in mind. Overall, really delicious and fairly priced.

Great concept, well executed, and best of all, TASTY food! This was my first time in WisePies and all I knew about this place was that each pizza is the same price regardless of the number of toppings you get. What I did not know was that they make the pizza in front of you(kinda like Subway makes their sandwiches). I loved it! From the start, if you’re new, they explain the process to you. Then you choose your crust(regular, thin, gluten free, whole wheat) which they have ready-made and ready to go. Next you choose your sauce, then you pick your proteins. I went for MEATMOUNTAIN and got pepperoni, three different types of sausage(italian, andouille, chorizo), bacon, and I don’t remember what else. Next you choose your cheese and I picked two different types of shredded cheese and then buffalo mozzarella on top of that. Somewhere in there I was able to add sauteed mushrooms. Finally, they topped it with a few shakes of oregano and said«it takes 3 minutes to cook». 3 minutes for a pizza? But I want it now! …no I kid, either I am easily impressed or that is an amazing turnaround for fresh pizza. At this point I should mention that they also have a selection of pizzas with pre-chosen ingredients if you’re the kind of patron that would rather say«I’ll take the _______» instead of painstakingly agonizing over which toppings you would like. They have one of the newer Coke fountain drink machines, the kind with a touchscreen where you can add flavors and pick Mellow Yellow if you so chose. I am personally a huge fan of the Lite Lemonade with raspberry flavoring and these machines are the best place to get that drink. So for me, having this was a huge bonus. Food was delivered to the table, and it was a great pizza! I chose a winner. But then, their ingredients(which you see right in front of you) all looked fresh and delicious, and I image it would take effort to make a pizza that is NOT good. Maybe if you chose to mix the pesto with BBQ, or maybe if you just asked for a whole wheat crust with nothing but oregano on it???

Come in. Get in a line. Browse the menu for their offerings. Realize while you are in line that the pizza you are paying for is a small(9″). So just like a subway type of experience but not subway type of prices. Expensive personal pizzas, yes a small pizza depending on the toppings could ring you up $. I expected a little more flavor packed into the small pie I ordered… The Luciano, it didn’t happen. Once you are out of line, and are looking for a spot to sit with your friends. good luck. The choices are bleak. We decided to sit outside. The service? Let’s just say the person who took our order looked and acted like she hated her job.

Great pizza in a hurry. We stopped by WisePies on our way to Colorado and it was the perfect lunch bite. I like that you can choose your own crust. The regular crust is thin but they offer a thinner crust — I can’t imagine that it could be much thinner than the standard. You can choose your own sauce and toppings or Build Your Own. They have many different choices in toppings such as roasted peppers or caramelized onions. The pizza is ready quickly — about 5 – 10 minutes. The crust was nice and crispy brown. They also offer a few salads and desserts –cookies and dessert pizzas. We tried the cinnamon apple dessert pizza and it was okay — the apples are not fresh cut but it was a good little treat. The restaurant was clean and the staff friendly. The first person at the assembly line explained the options very well. The place is very casual and located in a newly built retail shop center. Overall I thought WisePies was a great little place for a pizza fix.

I can’t believe people are giving this place good reviews… first of all, it’s too pricey for pizza. It’s $ 7 for an itty bitty pie. The pie you get can feed one person or MAYBE two people(though that would definitely not feed me and my husband). Plus the pizza isn’t good. We got a regular pie and one with green chili alfredo which just tasted like canned alfredo sauce… I didn’t even notice any green chilis on it. Honestly, the $ 5 Little Caesar pizza would be just as good, plus you get a ton more pizza there for your money. Save yourself the trip. And oh my god the people that worked there were SOANNOYING! Literally every single person that worked there asked us «How is your day going?» only it didn’t seem genuine at all, clearly someone told them to say that. We were also asked«how our pizza was» by every single person that worked there. Seriously, just let us enjoy our meal. FORCING your staff to be nice is just plain annoying and unauthentic.

Can you say Subway for Pizza? I thought built your own pizza was a great idea, I didn’t realized it can be done. We have been stopping by for lunch since it is so close to where I work and I can’t stop going there. I enjoy the thin crusted pizzas and I like that it is so fast and easy. The pizzas are as good or as bad as you can make it to be depending on what toppings you put on it. It is quick and easy no hassle. It is not gourmet pizza but it is pretty darn good place to get a quick bite for lunch.

I saw Howie’s review roll by and my wife and I decided it was time for pizza. We stopped in for lunch today, the whole process really does feel like Subway but for pizza. Pick a crust and then they build your pie to order right as you watch. About 3 minutes later it’s coming out hot and delicious. It really does have a feeling of a polished franchise, they need one up in Farmington! I used to work over on this side of town and all I can say is good job choosing the location! We had the pleasure of sitting on the patio which is open and airy, sun was beaming in it made for such a pleasant experience, I couldn’t have ask for better. If you get a chance stop in, you’ll probably be glad you did :)

They greeted me as soon as I opened the door of this bubbly pizzeria along a stretch of Alameda that suddenly doesn’t seem so desolate. A big, hearty Hello. Define the ol’ American comfort food standard any way you wish(it really irks me when people claim expertise about pizza), one thing cannot be contested: these entrepreneurs(of Vernon’s and Prime) know concept, customer appreciation, branding and marketing. WisePies has the look and feel of a polished franchise joint while it clings to a local personality that makes me feel right at home. Customer service is Job One, and there’s plenty of cheeky character, here. Something I overheard(both times) while waiting in line were patrons saying«It’s like Subway for pizza.» While that’s a fine way of describing the production line movement of the operation, it does a serious disservice to the quality of the ingredients this place is slingin’: dark roasted garlic, gluten free crust, andouille sausage, basil pesto sauce, caramelized onions, artichoke hearts, capicola, gorgonzola, green chile chorizo — try finding any of those on your chain-built sammy. For seven bones, your dame is gettin’ all dolled up. The final product, steaming in its little personal box, also arrives at a surprising pace. Ten minutes at most. Snatched from the jaws of a burnin’ oven o’ love, the crust puffy and slightly tinged, and sliced to fold into your gaping working lunch jowls, I’m thinking this place has a future. They will need to wrangle with the whole gangster/Chicago affiliation, however; many people will be expecting deep dish pies. Oh, and the salads are just four bucks, tough guy.

«So you’re telling me I can have as many toppings as I want, everyday, anytime for $ 6.95″ „Yes!“ “Okay» So went the convo in line at the new Wisepies. Other reviews were right, it has a Togo feel and seeing as the tables were full, we took the opportunity to drink our local Marble brew and have pizza at home. I tried the Columbo… I’m a fan of yummy white pizzas and this one didn’t disappoint. I added Capicola ham, which was a great addition. The garlic béchamel sauce was savory and garlicky and oh so yummy. The lingering flavor on my tongue was heavenly. I opted for the wheat crust, which was a great choice. I could have used it a little longer cooked, but overall was thoroughly happy with the decision to stop here. The sauces, the availability of toppings was amazing. Try it, you might like it. But stay away from the desserts… high dollar and not worth it.
