Was going to do a two star but the garlic sauce and the baklava gave it a little more. Gyros are ok add the garlic sauce much much better. In a kinda shady area. Not my favorite but defiantly would eat there again if I was in the area. I could not find open hours any where on the Unilocal page.

You know a place has good food when there are a lot of folks of the food origin. The baba ganoush was below average because it was over processed. The hummus was average. The falafel was over cooked. They have Kubbi which is not on every Mediterranean or middle eastern menu. It was my favorite appetizer. Ground beef in the middle of something that looked like falafel. So tasty. Gyro was very good. The beef shawarma was excellent — cooked the way I like beef cooked and was more tasty than shawarma I tried at other similar restaurants. The rice was excellent.

So darn happy I fell upon this gem, as I had always driven by it for years and always thought, «Should I try it» but then ended up being a chicken and going elsewhere. Outstanding establishment and so glad I finally came in. Very clean place with the basic décor, but the«WOW» factor is definitely the cuisine. All my favorites~~ Chicken Shawarma, Lamb, Hummus, Chicken Kabob, Spanakopita and so much more. Really incredible seasoning they utilize and all meat is Halal! They make fresh Pita bread as well daily. Staff is super friendly and always will make sure you are taken care of. YASMINE’S is the quintessential place when it comes to amazing Middle Eastern!

Have lived right across the street form this place for two years now and just tried it today. Very fresh falafel… You could tell they had just made it. Delicious chicken and lamb shawarma sandwiches. Can’t wait to try more stuff on the menu!

This is the best Gyro in town. Had a Gyro sandwich and a hummus appetizer. It was amazing. I can’t wait to come back here!

They had free snacks on the counter when you order your food. My SO and I split the vegetarian platter #1 and #2, and they’re both amazing! The falafel, babaganoush, and hummus haunt my dreams. I want more!

Went here with my parents a while back and it was great but we forgot to go back but then we went a few days ago and wow I was blown away!!! Sure the wait was a little long but it was worth it. Price was decent as well and just wow I was really blown away. Will be coming in the future. Highly recommended the gyro btw or meat combo 1

My buddy who grew up in the Middle East and truly knows Middle Eastern food, recommended the chicken shawarma at Yasmine’s. It is absolutely delicious! The falafel is also really tasty and everything is fairly priced. Highly recommend.

I found Yasmine’s café on Unilocal and decided to give it a shot. You know when you are craving Mediterranean food, you don’t want anything but the best. All that being said I grabbed a gyro from Yasmine’s and was pleasantly surprised with the quality. The gyro was BIG and loaded with meat, I couldn’t ask for anything more. The staff was polite and my order was fresh and cooked to order. Overall, I wanted to give Yasmine’s a 4.5 and the only reason I wouldn’t give them a solid FIVE is the meat was a little saltier than I like. If I am in Albuquerque in the future, I would definitely give it a try. They definitely get my recommendation!

Their chicken shawarma is the bomb. Marinated, tender, flavorful chicken, drizzled with that delicious garlic sauce, in their homemade pita. So yummy, I cannot stop thinking about it. I might have to ask for some extra garlic sauce next time. I’m excited to try the other items on the menu, but it’s going to be hard not to order that amazing shawarma again. Place was clean, service was good, & best of all… great prices.

Never a line, cheap prices, great quality. One wonders whether this is a front for another type of business. If so, i hope they never get busted because their food is delicious. I love filafel, hummus, baba ghanoush, chicken shawarma, etc.

I usually stop here twice a month, before attending an evening meeting. My favorite item to order is the Vegetarian Combo Plate, which includes Babaganooj, hummus, falafel, spanokopita and pita. It is always excellent and filling. In the past, I’ve had the appetizer plate, which is very good. Tonight, I’m having the gyros combo plate, about $ 6.00. The falafels are warm and well seasoned on the inside, crunchy and satisfying on the outside.

Le sigh — I had higher hopes than I needed for this place. Because I have to have truthiness about places, here’s mine: not really a fan. I had the #1 Meat combo plate and for the meat being the centerpiece de resistance there sure was a lot of what I call fatty gristle. As Sara(no ‘h’) would say: Ew! Other than the meat, the hummus was good and so was the rice. All sideshows compared to the main event. The side dip was what I thought was, dare I say, Ranch?! Let’s pretend it wasn’t and move on. My friend and I also waited about 15 min to get out food with one guy taking orders and cooking. Luckily another guy showed up to help. Try it there if you’d like.

Hands down the best Mediterranean food in ABQ!!! I love the veggie platter, best spanakopita I’ve ever had in my life! We have tried the chicken kabobs and they are super yummy, bet there is something for everyone.

I’ve been to Yasmine’s about 3 times. I like getting takeout from there. Their lamb is delicious. Big tender chunks served up with rice and salad. Their kabobs come with a delicious garlic sauce that I could seriously bathe in. I know that might be gross… but it’s that good! Try the pita and hummus for an appetizer. Yasmine’s is serious when it comes to great food.

I haven’t been to many Greek/Mediterranean places here in ABQ but Yasmine’s is definitely solid. The group that I was with all enjoyed their food and I really enjoyed the hummus and pita that I bought. The gentlemen that assisted us at the register were really nice and eager to assist us with drinks when we needed it. If you’re craving a gyro or hummus. Make your way to Yasmine’s.

I’m pretty sure that was the best gyro I’ve ever consumed. It’s kind of consuming me at the moment, actually. I just checked in on the ol’ tummy, you know, gave it a little test drive, just to be sure it hadn’t stretched out or grown in size recently. Nope. Same limitations, only so much I can shove in there. Dammit. As I lie here digesting, I digress: Yasmine’s is gooooood. I really liked what Clayton said, I have Foreign Flavor Bias(FFB), I automatically add a star to international fare simply because it dares to stretch our culinary norms. And really, gyro isn’t foreign to me whatsoever; growing up in the Midwest, gyro was a «safe» alternative to almighty beef; Yasmine’s gyro is my hero. Over the years(I ain’t tellin’ how many), increasingly complex and challenging mediterranean fare has quietly crept into the mainstream American dining lexicon. Praise Allah, it’s about time. While I waited to order, I noted four men in thobes who were clearly feeling blessed to eat something from the homeland. And baby, I’ll remember Yasmine the next time I want a fix. I’ll dream of her baba ghanough, felafel and chicken shawerma, The hummus was my second fave, they absolutely do not pull punches with the spicy layer of green stuff across the top, prepare for fire. And the plates were rather massive, enough for seconds and possibly thirds. Salads left a little to be desired, but that’s to be expected. Overall, this is a great choice around UNM/CNM.
