We had someone come out to service our unit due to cooling issues. After fixing it, we had to call them out again for cooling issues. They were apparently entirely different problems. The tech told us that there«may» be a leak, but he could not find it. The suggestion was to replace the unit with a better one(mine was«builder-grade» and not good enough apparently). He said we had only a few days to make a decision because it was going to be problematic again shortly. The solution was going to be $ 9000+ dollars. We had someone come out for a second opinion and he informed us that the unit in question was a good unit and proceeded to explain the unit’s history, the inner workings of the unit, where the problem was(he found the leak), and what he was going to do to ensure it was not a problem anymore. The replacement part was under warranty and the service cost was average. The big cost was replacing all of the refrigerant(which had completely leaked out during this time). I called Stallons to voice my frustration and was told multiple times that they did everything well and there were no problems. After discussing this over the phone for quite a while, I was told I would receive a call from the owner(the woman I had talked to’s husband) within 3 days. I received a call 3 days later. The owner told me exactly what they did and why(which I had already been over several times). I received nothing over my frustration but a bill(for refrigerant that had completely leaked out). I will not use them again and I do not recommend them.
