Will walk a mile to get to the next convenience store before I spend $$ here. Went to play the Powerball at around 830 and they were out of forms. No problem. I asked if the gentleman would key the numbers in by hand and he very politely told me that he did not have time bc it would take too long. There were at least two cashiers in the store and about 5 people(me included). Walked about a half a mile away to the next 7 Eleven where they punched my numbers in in less than 30 seconds… Very unfortunate experience but at least I got daily steps in

I used to think that every time they opened another 7 – 11 some wino got his Thunderbird wings, but I am not so sure that this is the case with this one. It is clean and devoid of sketchy characters that always seem to be hanging out on front of the store. The staff is great, and the cashier even stopped me as I was walking out the door to offer me an double bag my purchases as she said that she didn’t think my meager 7 – 11 plastic bag would do the job. This place has a lot of potential, for it’s location is choice.

What do you get when you plop a 7-Eleven convenience store in the upscale Carlyle neighborhood in Alexandria? You get the cleanest, least skeezy convenience store I ever been inside. Apu from«The Simpsons» would adore this 7-Eleven! Clean, well lit, and very convenient to the USPTO, numerous apartment buildings, and townhouse residents, this 7-Eleven has what most other c-stores have in terms of inventory… except a huge rack of porn. It could be a little more convenient for me in terms of location, but it’s still within walking distance. For my bagged ice and lottery ticket needs? Score!

I know it’s kind of silly to leave a review for a 7-Eleven, but I love this place. I live and work right by it and probably go about 3 times a day. The new owners are very nice and all of the staff is great. They used to have one cashier that was mean, but I think she quit or was fired. Everyone now is the best. I like the main woman(owner?) named Zinaye. She’s personable and took the time to get to know me after she noticed how often I come in. One of the better 7-Eleven shops in the area!
