The best place in town to sit on the water and watch the planes roll in and out. The deck at this joint is large, free, and sits across the water from DCA. Grab a beer or soda, sandwich or snack inside, or bring your own and grab some table. Or sit on the grass on the water. Just about 5 mins drive into Old Town and 10 to Rosslyn this place can’t be beat.

Talk about a diamond in the rough. So simple, beautiful and peaceful area. $ 3-​$ 4 Beers, are you serious?
Can’t beat it.
Lived in area for years, never even heard of this. Just happen to stop by riding my bike.
Tons of parking.

I have been living in the area for 7 years and never knew about this place. But for the fact that my coworker was playing live music here and I came to hear him play, I may still never have heard of it.
Apparently the live music is a Tuesday 7 – 9 thing in the summer… the back patio area was nice, beautiful views of the city, and sometimes you can see the fireworks at Nationals Park… Sipping on some sangria (it was actually pretty yummy $ 6), listening to music, watching the airplanes land… it was an enjoyable summer night.

This is a nice place to catch a view of DCA airport with a cold adult beverage. The service was pretty slow when we were there, so good thing we weren’t in a rush. We ordered the seafood nachos and crab and artichoke dip. Both appetizers were very tasty. I would definitely go back for the view. I am not in love with the restaurant, but they have a pretty awesome location and easy and free parking.

They close at 5pm on Saturday and Sunday! Despite what is listed here. We wanted to try this place while our family was in town visiting… We checked here, and is hours were listed as 10−8… We just trusted Unilocal.When we pulled up… It was closed, and the sign out front clearly stated that they closed at 5pm :-(

My five star rating is based on my appreciation that this place just exists and continues to operate right behind one of the best viewing and hanging out places (of DC and the river). Three kinds of draft beer and an OK grill plus friendly personnel.

Located at the Washington Marina. Very good burgers and fries. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and they always have good food!
