Walking around in DC during a break from a conference, I saw art like mine at ARTBOT and therefore spent some time looking. From Oregon, I make either confabulated or straight images from nature and architecture: surface images of water, rocks, underbrush or store windows, similar to some at Artbot. I call my images«bots» due to their resemblance to R2D2, but call the genre«abstract nature/architectural photography». However, ARTBOT’s name is «pop surrealism», and I think that better describes the effort and its motivation – to use the ordinary to introduce extraordinary viewpoints. Artbot does it well.

Évaluation du lieu : 5 Chicago, IL
My husband and I were walking down the street after dinner and the pieces at Artbot immediately caught my eye. We decided to stop in and take a peek and so glad we did. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We spoke with an artist who was from our neck of the woods(Chicago). You can tell he loved what he did. After looking around we chose two pieces that they graciously shipped for us at a very reasonable price. If you’re looking for a unique and or alternative piece Artbot has a great variety to choose from. We stopped in before their official open and it was unfortunate we weren’t in the area for a longer visit to see the opening, but I wish the gallery and it’s artists the best. Hopefully, we’ll be back again!
