UPDATE #2 June 2010 — This placed has changed owners and menu — it’s now Peruvian. I’ve tried it — and was sad it was not the Burrito Joynt. The Quesadilla just wasn’t the same. Burrito Joynt! Why did you leave me!!! UPDATE: This place has changed their menu style. I’ve yet to try it. I live about 2 miles from this place and I probably eat here once a month. I’m a huge fan of the chicken casadilla — much better than at some chain Mexican restaraunts. I’ve also tried their burritos and the tamales. All tasty for me. I like this place because it has low traffic — I think most of the meals are ordered for pick-up. It’s kind of a placed a little off the road — so people tend to miss seeing it. Next door is a Tai Rice and Noodles place — also small — but really good Tai! I’ll write a review for that one, too. The Burrito Joynt has changed management since I’ve been going,(5 years now) and I did notice some changes, but minor. It’s relatively clean, has a buffet style sauce stand for hot, medium, and mild sauces, plus as many jalepeno’s your gut can handle! I recommend this place if you want some good quick Mexi food on the cheap.

You can pick up a pack of Ortega taco kit stuff and make better — at least fresher. I’ve been here a couple of times because I was hungry and didn’t want to wait for Chinese food or drive to Chipotle. Big mistake, no huge each time. Do yourself a favor — there is a 7 – 11 nearby — get a Snickers bar and a bag of chips to curb your hunger until you can get to a real restaurant.
