Finally good Chinese. Super friendly, quick, good prices. Although I have to drive a little ways– this is now my go to spot when craving Chinese.

This was our go to spot for a long time when on fort belvoir. The service was always top notch and no other Chinese place can beat Chef Huang in taste. Truly the most delicious Chinese food I have tasted in this area. Plus they deliver to base! If you want quality food and service, you must try this place. You will not regret it. Even though I don’t live as close anymore, I’m willing to sacrifice some drive time just to continue ordering from here.

Very basic Chinese takeout, but done quite well. You won’t find any lobster dishes or dim sum here, just your average takeout menu. However, the food they do make, is made very well. Savory, hot, FRESH, and doesn’t make me bloat or break out like other cheap takeout places. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. Bonus– the delivery person is very polite and pleasant :) Tip: They err on the side of caution when it comes to heat, so if you like your Chinese food spicy, be sure to specifically ask for«extra extra extra spicy» or else it probably won’t be as spicy as you were hoping for. And try the fried dumplings– so good!

The owner is friendly, to go orders are always on time, they deliver and portions are enough to feed two people. I recommend the general Tso’s chicken. Not a fancy place, but eating there is still pleasant.

I can’t really speak on the restaurant experience of this place because I normally order food for delivery. They are SUPER fast, last night I called them around 8:55 for delivery and they were knocking at my door around 9:05. I am not exaggerating, I mean I guess me living 2 lights away helps but still they normally deliver between 10−15mins. But still even when you go into a carry out sometimes the wait for your food is long. I have never waited 30mins for food from this place, even when it was snow on the ground they were still quick. I ordered the crispy semese chicken with fried rice and a chicken w/broccoli and steamed rice with 2 egg rolls. I did go into the restaurant once to order food to go, wasn’t too many people there but it was nice and clean. The only thing I don’t like is they don’t have any combination meals for dinner, but they do have them for lunch. They also have a buffet at their restaurant, I’ll try it one day, but their food is good. I would recommend to anyone.

This place sucks. Their food was terrible the first time I had it and the second time i orders two Odets of orange chicken and only got one and I was still charged for 2. I decided to buy another one since they kept arguing I got charged for it and I never got it. I’m only giving them one star because I can’t post this without giving them something

Good food, fast service, and a clean place to satisfy that urge for Chinese food. HUGE shrimp in the Happy Family entrée; fantastic. For the money, you cant go wrong. Enjoy.

I ordered take out, came over there in about ten or fifteen minutes and it was ready. My only complaint was that I ordered beef with mixed vegetables and they had included mushrooms. I don’t like mushrooms and did not order them. Other than that excellent service.

We have been coming here regularly for years, and our experience has been consistently good. The wait staff are always pleasant, friendly, and helpful. At times, when we ask for suggestions, they have offered that if we try something and don’t like it, they will replace it. Never had to take that offer because everything is good. Our favorites include crispy fish, General Tso eggplant, and General Tso bean curd. When we feel like eating out, our first thought is usually to head to Chef Huangs.

Super speedy delivery and pretty dang good Chinese takeout. We went in with very low expectations and wound up being blown away. Well cooked items. Large menu selection. Friendly staff. They’ve earned our business for years to come.

The owner is super nice. The food is better than average chinese place. Delivered hot, not super greasy, but most of the time my boyfriend’s stomach get upset from their food.

I’m really disappointed with my experience, considering how many great reviews this place has. My boyfriend and I ordered chow mein(I posted a picture, for your entertainment). My boyfriend was asked by the cashier if we actually meant lo mein, which he denied and we received our food. After arguing about what chow mein is supposed to look like, I looked up pictures. This place definitely didn’t make anything like what I found; seeing as none of the pictures had slimy, watery, or strange colored piles of soft vegetables that lacked flavor. I may come back another time to try something else, but it definitely won’t be a top pick.

This was my usual go to place for Chinese, but not anymore. The main reason for buying from here was that it was the closest to base. My main dish was always the faithful General Tso’s chicken. A couple of times the sauce was not on point, more like it was sitting out for too long. There were some other times when my chicken was way over cooked. Last thing is that this place is «pricey» as far as fast Chinese take out goes, to include lunch specials. The staff is very friendly though. Location is central with plenty of parking. Never ate inside but it looked clean.

The lady who took my order was very courteous. She diligently took the order and repeated back to confirm. We ordered Gen Tso’s Chicken, Shrimp in Lobster sauce, crab rangoons, and a large egg drop soup. The order arrived within 30 mins. The food was packaged carefully and had generous amounts of Chinese goodness in it. Even the fortune cookies and duck sauce was packaged separately by the awesome package master. Now the food: delicious crab rangoons and I could(and did) eat them without dipping them in the sauce. However, I should note that they either forgot to include the red sauce that usually comes with crab rangoons or this particular restaurant does not include them. I’ll ask them next time around. Gen Tso’s Chicken was scrumptious at best. The fried chicken cubes were nicely drowned in their hot and spicy sauce. Wifey’s shrimp and lobster sauce was fantastic and she would rate is 4 out of 5. Overall, a great experience and we are glad to have found a new Chinese delivery place in our new neighborhood. Will definitely order from here again!

I love the service they are very friendly. This place is dine in or take out. I’ve been here multiple times and i’m never disappointed. The price is just right for the amount of food you get. The dine-in has a buffet available during certain times, never had it since I only order take-out. The buffet is small & selected items only so don’t think its a big buffet. This place is a restaurant. Its peaceful & quite most of the time. The food taste great. I have no complaints thus far for this restaurant.

I started ordering from a Kabob place that outside of Fort Belvoir but they was not answering the phone. I check and check. I only came down to this place. I love curry but this not so good. Here my review. Cab Meat & Asparagus Soup for two sound good but wrong. They used the left over water in cooking the crab lags. Uses a little bit of the Alaskan Crab lags and eggs. Curry Lamb wash so so. It was: 30% onions, 20% carrots 10% baby crowns\ 40% slice lamb. I wood never order from here again. If so It wood be the Shrimp Egg Foo Young and hot and sour soup. An it all came up to $ 17.35 not worth the money. Plus I got left over.

I ordered the Kung Pow chicken. It was really good, I just wish there was more sauce on it. I went to pick it up at the place, and while it is small, it is very nice of a setting. The difference between this place and other places in the area is the dining room. It doesn’t feel like a takeout restaurant and that’s a good thing. They offered me water when I was inside even though I was just picking up an order. The food is great, but isn’t at the best value in the area. At a couple of dollars cheaper there are other places in the area to eat Chinese. I still will be coming here again to try other food that they have.
