Cleopatra Nails

I called to ask a simple question and the lady was extremely rude! I was willing to try Cleopatra nails despite the negative reviews but not anymore. I’m shocked home girl got sassy over the phone after I asked for the price of a refill. If you’re looking to try this place out, don’t. C&T Salon is nearby and the customer service is superb!

Filthy. Everything is sticky and covered in some sort of nail dust or fuzz. Customer service substandard. Not sure how it garnered three stars.

It’s a good spa place. Clean and they do well job.
I’m happy. The lady treated me well even though I’m too picky and not everyone is patient about it. :)

I went in after another salon botched a nail job. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and was attended to as soon as I showed them what I needed fixed. Even though she had an appointment soon she took 15 minutes to fix my nails. They were so friendly. Overall my 15 minute session was better then a full appointment at any salon in the area.

Just went here for the first time because it was close to my house. I was hesitant due to the reviews but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The place isn’t the most modern and could probably use a clean up but Wendy did a fantastic job on my nails. She didn’t talk much but made sure I was getting what I wanted. I will definitely return.

This place is terrible, don’t bother trying it out. It’s very dirty and run down. I gave them a shot bc they are close to my house, I was greatly disappointed. There were two woman working, one was eating when I walked in and stared at me the other was on the phone w her cable company. She continued to argue about the price of HBO while giving a pedicure. My foot was cut during the pedicure and I got a little blame bc I had dry skin. I just wouldn’t bother trying this place out, there are plenty of other nice places that are clean, courteous and friendly.

This place has bad reviews because of the previous technicians but Wendy is really good! I have really short nails so I get my acrylic fill-​in with her. It lasts forever! And she’s really good with waxing too! Give it a try! :)

Love it here, they are amazing… Love Wendy! She does my shellac, and I’d never go to anyone else… very detailed and precise! Everyone in there is nice.

I love coming here to do my shellac mani/​pedi. They really look out for me and the prices are good. The owner is very nice and professional. I love doing my nails with either Wendy or Nadia.

This salon is very close to the building where I live, so for a while I was actually a regular here. I got my pedicures and manicures at Cleopatras for a couple of years until I switched to another salon. The quality of service really depended on the technician. The owner (don’t remember her name) and her daughter Pam always did a great job on my nails, they were very precise, and it lasted long afterwards. However, a couple of other technicians did a really horrible job, very messy and unprofessional. Once I also tried eyebrow threading here, and it was not very good either: it hurt way more than it should, and I had to help the technician by stretching and holding my eyelids, which I am never asked to do at other places. The place was also quite dirty, and a lot of polishes looked tacky and old. But I still kept coming because it was within my price range, and because the owner was actually quite good at manicures and pedicures. What finally forced me to move to another salon was the pushiness of the owner. She was always trying to guilt me into getting more services there, and not gently. She loved saying things like «You are probably the only woman in the world who loves living with such horribly ugly hairy arms! Let me wax them!» You come to beauty salons to be pampered, to relax, and you pay them, so do you want to hear that you are ugly? So, I switched, and I am now very happy with my current salon (Ivy Nail in Arlington). Never going back to Cleopatra!

I’m new to the area so I didn’t know to avoid this place, as you should! Although my nails look okay, I’ve had wayyy better. They don’t push your cuticles back at some places, but they did here. Although I’m now wishing that they hadn’t. She was so rough that my cuticles are literally hurting now. And on top of that, maybe the most important, their customer service is dreadful. After paying, instead of handing me my change in my hand, she gives me an unfriendly look, slaps it on the table and just walks away. Not so much as a thank you, come again. Obviously I’m not wanted back, even though I wouldn’t go back anyway. If you want new customers, treat them right!

My nails looks like they were painted by a 5 year old. It is so gloppy that three hours later they are still smudging. Not to mention that she also painted my cuticles and the sides of my fingers.
The back of my jeans (that were pulled up above my knees, are soaked wet from Susie rinsing my legs during the pedicure.
The place is dirty, with hair on the tile floors and gazillions of fuzzies and dirt in the rugs. The polishes are old and gross.
I halfway expect to end up with fungus after this trip.

Scary!!! Never, never again!

This place is horrible! I paid $ 12 for eyebrow wax which I think it’s a bit over price. The place I used to go is only $ 8. The service was horrible, she didn’t wax my eyebrow very well, I had to finish it up when I got home. Even though this place is right down the street from my house, I will never go there again!

let me start off by saying i would NEVER have entered this place if it were not for the good reviews. its another budget nail joint w/​neon signs and super tacky décor. not to mention 90% the polishes were nasty and old. trying to keep and open mind i walked in for my SCHEDULED appt and sat… and sat… and finally after waiting 15 min i was told i could be seen in 5 more minutes. i don’t think so. didn’t hear a sorry or anything. SO ANNOYING.

I went here a while back, since my new found pedicure heaven disappeared on me (Diana’s Nails is GONE! EEEK!). They did a very good job on my feet, and although $ 30 is pricey (to me) for a pedi, it lasted a very long time.
