NIGHTMARE! DONOTSHOPTHISSITE! I never write reviews but felt compelled because I hope no one ever experiences what I did. I also know how bad reviews impact a business and so I do not write this lightly. Here is what I experienced: 4⁄28 Placed my order for mink eyelashes(whispers style) for my sister in law and baby brothers wedding day, which was 5⁄17. Received confirmation email with correct billing and shipping, promised shipping in 5 – 7 business days. 5÷6÷14 I emailed once and called twice with no answer during hours of operation. NORESPONSE ever despite 24 hour promise. 5÷7÷14 I emailed once and called several times with no answer during hours of operation. NORESPONSE ever despite the 24 hour promise. 5÷8÷14 Missed call and voicemail from Jessica saying she will be at the phones all day and to ask for her personally. Which she was NOT there when I called back only a couple hours later. Via email and phone I was told that they did email back supposedly and it must have gone to spam. I checked my spam and had NO response previous to 5÷8÷14. I spoke to Melissa instead of Jessica, who confirmed my package had been sent to CANADA(I live in DC) and she told me that many other customers had experienced the same problem! She blamed it on the sale and being busy.(Things ALL good businesses deal with). She promised me two complimentary mink lashes for my inconvenience and requested I email her immediately with my preferences. She told me her email is «melissa at the same web address» — which keeps getting returned to sender. Moreover, I have received NO response despite copying the main email address too. I explained to her that although the extra lashes were nice, the biggest issue is that I leave next week at dawn on Wednesday morning for Florida and those«whispers» lashes are for the bride! Melissa assured me that she would call me back in one hour to confirm they had them in stock. That was at 11:30 am and I NEVER got a call back despite emailing and calling repeatedly during hours of operation. 5⁄9 I receive an email back from a girl names Jess this time giving my an incredibly lengthy and very personal story about Jessica. Moreover, she tells me that they CLOSEDEARLY yesterday. Right in the middle of allllll the issues they told me they are having with other customers(which is not very professional to share) and allllllll the busy orders needing to be completed … THEYCLOSEEARLY??? So I emailed them saying… I am a small business owner myself and a part time makeup artist. I completely understand that everyone has bad days… But what if instead of paying, I told just told a sad story about my day? That’s just not how a legal transaction, or a business for that matter, works. They have blamed everything from voicemail issues and bad days to simple things like being busy from a sale. They have repeated blamed the warehouse and shipping as if they are not also a part of, and a reflection on, them and their company. How can they expect to run a business if every time one of the employees has a bad day, they close up and go home early with no regard for legal commitments made to customers? How can they expect to run a business if they repeatedly make promises to their customers they don’t keep? With NO communication? I demanded the eyelashes that I had paid for be sent to me immediately! I then received a call from Jess, who apologized profusely and convinced me she was going to 1. refund me, 2. give me two free lashes, and 3. overnight them to me at my parents address by Thursday 5⁄15 in Florida in time for the wedding 5⁄17. I told her I would hold my breath. 5⁄15 The day they promised the lashes would arrive came and went with no lashes that ever arrived. AND. Still no refund or tracking for the free lashes. I was prepared for the disappointment this time — with them also being so apologetic and accommodating on the phone and then screwing me over again and again. So I had started calling in to them at mid day and repeatedly throughout the afternoon until close of business. I finally got an email back from amanda and it was only getting worse —- they called me by the WRONGNAME, they offered to refund me AGAIN after promising me one on 5/9, and blamed production due to the sale again. The worst part is, they continued their insulting lies about calling me «and circuits were busy» or emailing me bogus forwards from emails they never sent. And why were they emailing and calling? Well of course to tell me that the lashes WERENOTCOMING. BOTTOMLINE: Their apologies did not put eyelashes on my sister. Their imaginary freebie extras didn’t put eyelashes on my sister. And their continued and repeated failures prevented me from buying alternatives because there is so little time left. So much for the sale price being worth anything because my hands are STILLTOTHISDAYCOMPLETELYEMPTY. ITIS5⁄20ALMOST A FULLMONTHLATERAND I HAVENTGOTTEN A SINGLELASH!
