Hooman Hamidi, DC

I recently went to Dr. Hamidi for a muscle spasm in my neck. I had a chiropractor years ago for another problem and I can say that his practice is far better. Dr. Hamidi’s attention to detail and his instructions truly helped me recover. He is very knowledgable and takes time to fully understand your situation. Skyline’s office is great and the staff are also very friendly. Now that I’ve found such a great chiropractor, I’m not leaving!
I would recommend Dr. Hamidi to anyone!

I had suffered an extensive car accident in 2007 and I travel for my job in many states, including Alexandria, VA. In order for me to operate at my fullest capacity in the healthcare industry; I need to have regular chiropractic adjustments. Finding the perfect fit while moving to different states can be challenging. When I visited Skyline Wellness Center in Alexandria, VA and had my first appointment with Dr. Hamidi, I was certainly impressed with his knowledge and techniques. Having experienced many chiropractors in the past 8 yrs, he is by far the «Best» chiropractor I have been to, His disposition and patience calm you immediately when you enter his office. He is very attentive to your needs and spends all the time you need, giving you that special attention we all seek today. I always leave feeling better than when I entered his office.
On a side note… he has a great sense of humor, making you feel great as well his laughter and great smile!
Would I highly recommend Dr. Hooman Hamidi, YES!!! most definitely!

I highly recommend Dr. Hamidi. His vast area of knowledge is admirable. I was going through unbearable neck pain for a week straight, and I had tried some over counter medicine and patches. However, the pain escalated and that is when I decided to visit Dr. Hamidi. I haven’ had any problems with my neck since my visit, he is very professional, caring, and easy to communicate with. He has also coached me through some exercises to strengthen my back and neck muscles. The office is open late which is another plus for getting appointments.

He is Amazing!!! It was a Great experience, would highly recommend for many reasons: *everyone is overly friendly and helpful *you never wait more than a few minutes after arriving *very clean *Dr. Hamidi takes his time to go over everything with you *his goal is to resolve the issue not to keep you around for years, he gets to the point right away *He has many great techniques and machines so he can address your issue in many other ways besides just cracking your back or neck. He has a great team there.
I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Hamidi. I’d never gone to a chiropractor before and was so so so impressed. He has such a lovely presence, and clearly knows what he is doing. So thoughtful and respectful. Can’t recommend high enough! I’m glad I found him.

I have been suffering from chronic shoulder pain for the past 3 years, which started after a workout related injury at the gym. I have seen countless Physical therapists, as well as chiropractors, and they never really completely fixed the issue. Then I was referred to Dr. Hamidi by one of my crossfit coaches. He did a thorough exam of my shoulder and spine, with x-​rays, and came up with a diagnosis and a treatment plan that started to make me feel better immediately.
I have been going to Skyline wellness center to see him for the past two months now, and my range of motion has increased significantly and I’m almost pain free.
He is so friendly and attentive, I rarely see that in healthcare providers these days. He spends plenty of time on each visit to address my needs, and I never feel rushed. He uses ART, Graston and Kinesio Tapping on my shoulder, as well as adjusting my whole spine. I know all of that sounds confusing, but he explains it so well that I almost feel like an expert! They also have massage therapy, PT, acupuncture and nutrition at this office. I have used all of these services, they have changed my life!
I highly recommend Dr. Hamidi and Skyline wellness center to anyone who is suffering from chronic pain and is looking for a complete clinic. They truly address your overall health and wellness!

Dr. Hamidi truly deserves the 5 stars he is getting from everyone on Unilocal.I guarantee you for every positive review you see here there are hundreds of satisfied patients who never write a review, I know because I am one of them, I have been going to him for emergencies and not so emergencies for a while but never bothered to write. He really is great, knows what he is doing and can truly be a life saver. Most of all he is genuinely a kind and caring human being, for a health care professional that is truly priceless. The atmosphere in the office is so relax, so comfortable that it automatically lifts you up no matter how much pain you are in, and the person definitely walks out in better shape than they walk in. All the people who work with Dr. Hamidi are great too, I don’t think there is any other doctors office quite like it in the whole city, chiropractic or otherwise.

If you are looking for an attentive, intuitive and highly effective Chiropractor, Dr. Hamidi is the way to go!
Being a part of the medical field, I can safely say Dr. Hamidi is awesome on a professional and knowledge base level. He came highly recommended to me by my sister who suffers from chronic neck pain and painful knots in her back. My family had been going to a chiropractor previously who would dismiss our concerns and actually put me off going to the chiropractor in general. After my sister went to visit him, I heard nothing but praise, and her back and neck were greatly improved after only a few visits… So I finally visited myself and have never looked back. I suffer from migraines and his adjustments have virtually eliminated my need for any type of pharmacologic management; none of which my previous chiropractors ever even mentioned was possible. I don’t go out of my way to write reviews unless I get exceptional service, and this guy definitely deserved acknowledgment.

I have really enjoyed going to Dr. Hamidi at Skyline Wellness Center over the last few months and I’m sad to see him move out of state. I reeaally like his treatment style. He takes his time to assess your spine and your muscles. He doesn’t rush into the adjustment. He makes sure to loosen up your muscles first, so then the adjustment is easy and doesn’t require a lot of force. Dr. Hamidi is also very receptive to questions and provides a lot of great advice. I never felt rushed having a conversation with him. The only thing I think he could improve is being more proactive in updating me on where I was in my treatment plan and what happens next. I felt like I had to track my own number of visits and to make sure to follow up with him at various milestones. I’m in the maintenance phase now, so this doesn’t really matter to me anymore, but it would’ve added to the overall customer service experience and definitely would’ve bumped up my rating to 5 stars. I hope to see him improve on this and I hope our paths may cross again in the future!

Dr. Hamidi is FANTASTIC!
After injuring my back in a car accident I suffered from constant back pain for years. Having played sports my whole life being inactive was not an option so I tolerated what I could during regular exercise while trying to fix the problem. Three chiropractors later I was still in pain. A friend raved about Dr. Hamidi so I set up an appointment immediately. Dr. Hamidi has been a life saver — this is the first time in 3 years that I been without back pain! Exercises that once caused me to stop frequently to stretch or crack my back are now done regularly pain free. Dr. Hamidi is very knowledgeable in a variety of sports therapy treatments and a master when it comes to myofacial release. I have had other issues addressed as well and those are steadily on the road to recovery thanks to him. Making an appointment with Dr. Hamidi is a must, you won’t regret it!!!

My husband and I have both been seeing Dr. Hamidi for several years. He is professional and knowledgeable and really takes the time to help you correct the root causes of your pain. He does not pressure us to sign up for regular treatment, which I especially appreciate. We’ve followed him through multiple practices and think skyline is perfect… the ambience of the facility and professionalism of the staff make it a great choice for improving health and wellness.

Let me start by saying their new office looks great, better than most chiropractor practices. They have a full staff, so you are quickly tended to.
I went to see Dr. Hamid about tension in my neck which has lead to tension headaches and nagging lower back pain. He’s been very helpful in relieving pain and discomfort in both areas. He’s very knowledgeable about the human anatomy.

I was reluctant to see a chiropractor regarding general discomfort and specific problems I had with my back and hip. After visiting Dr. Hamidi my only regret was not going sooner. His staff was friendly and professional and he helped me out not only with the problems I had seen him for, but he also gave me a back and neck adjustment that has had me feeling much better since the visit.
I am very picky and weary when seeing new providers, but I am very happy with my overall experience with Dr. Hamidi. He is great and I recommend him to anybody in the area.

I have been going to see Dr. Hamidi for neck and mid-​back pain and I noticed improvements almost immediately. I used to get daily headaches but since I started going to see Dr. Hamidi, I rarely get headaches anymore! My range of motion has improved and my back pain is already a lot better. Dr. Hamidi is very attentive and takes the time to address your issues during each appointment. It is never rushed which I really appreciate. I was a little nervous about going to see a chiropractor for the first time, but Dr. Hamidi makes you feel very relaxed and answers all of your questions. He really cares about your neck and spinal health. He’s shown me lots of strengthening exercises to do at home to complement the adjustments. Dr. Hamidi is by far THE BEST CHIROPRACTOR I have ever been to & would recommend everyone in the Northern VA area to see him! He pays close attention to every problem I have addressed about my lower back, neck area & migraines, than he put a effective 4 week plan in place to correct my issues in order to get me feeling great again. Not only did his 4 week plan work but it was amazing to see the before and after pictures of the alignment and corrections that were made to my spine and posture.
I have been seeing Dr. Hamidi for several months now and not only do I feel GREAT but I have noticed a significant difference in my overall movement, & energy. He has helped minimize my migraines, & in addition, he has given me several exercise regimens that I can do at home to relieve pain!

The best part about seeing Dr. Hamidi is that his office takes several insurance companies which is hard to find these days. The whole office staff is fantastic and extremely personable which makes me feel like I am at home when I am in the practice!

Dr. Hamidi has helped develop an effective chiropractic program for me and offers a personable experience during every visit. I am currently training for a marathon, and with his assistance, my neck and back pain has been alleviated. Dr Hooman Hamidi is a good friend of mine and I’ve known him for a long time. He is a very knowledgeable chiropractor and an expert at what he does. Having played soccer together, I witnessed him use his skills on the field and off the field to treat injuries to the players who needed immediate assistance. Luckily for me, he was present in the field when I was playing soccer once and I got injured and he treated me right away. What makes Dr. Hooman Hamidi a unique chiropractor is that he is an athlete himself and having played sports for a long time he is totally familiar with the type of injuries sutained and what causes them and how to treat them.
