Jennifer Ausherman is an AMAZING hair stylist and colorist! I have been using her services for 3 years now after a recommendation from my friend Katherine. There is never an event that I attend that people don’t ask me who my stylist is! I have handed out her card and phone number more times than I can remember.

Jennifer was amazing! This is my first Unilocal review but had to let everyone know how great Jennifer was. I just moved to the area and needed to find a new hair salon. After reading the other Unilocal reviews, I decided to give her a try. I got a Brazilian Blowout and haircut today and I couldn’t be happier. She’s extremely knowledgable and listens and gets what you want. I plan on going back to her for a color treatment in a few weeks!

I live in the middle of DC surrounded by hair salons but I now take Metro out to the suburbs so Jennifer can continue to cut my hair! She really listens and takes her time. I’ve brought in pictures of cuts I liked and she’s helped me decide which would be best, easiest to care for, etc. I’m in my 60s with aging, color treated hair… yet I walk out of Luxe with a healthy looking cut that lasts 6 – 8 weeks. That makes it worth the trip!

Jennifer is the best of the best. She is very knowledgable, friendly, and creative. Jennifer has a great eye for color, shape, and cut. She’s been my stylist for the past few years and I’ve consistently received great service and haircuts from Jennifer. I went to her nice new space in Alexandria for the first time today and really enjoyed the experience. Jennifer devotes her attention to your hair and doesn’t double book clients. I highly recommend her!

Perfect! I moved to DC almost a year ago… And after trying different stylists around the area I thought I would need to fly back to CA to get my hair done by my stylist there. Thankfully I found Jennifer, she worked her magic and I walked out with exactly what I asked for. She fixed my old, bright highlights And gave me a fresh start. (Colored, part highlights, cut) location is easy to get to, clean and available parking. After a full week I still love how my hair looks and feel. Usually I wait a little longer but by now I know I will be returning to Jen for my hair care.

I was so excited when I heard that Jennifer was opening up a spot in Alexandria! I’d gotten my hair cut by her in the past, but had been lazy about it because it was so hard for me to find the time to trek in to Dupont. But now she’s so close to my office, right off the Beltway. She does a great job with hair, and is super sweet. Her new place is nice, easy to get to and plenty of parking. Highly recommend her!

Jennifer is awesome! It’s like she can read your mind and is really able to make your hair work. I have gone to her for cut and color for over 7 years through long and shoulder length hair. She does a great job and has such a positive attitude! I even flew back from CA to have her cut some length off my hair because I was having trouble finding someone in CA. She will win you over with one cut.

If you need a good highlight Jen is your girl! She will listen to exactly what you need and achive it. Some stylists hurry through cuts and colors but Jen takes her time so everyone is comfortable and not rushed. Jen is a very knowledgeable stylist who has a comforting personality that is not over the top like some stylists can be.
