On March 16, 2015, I emailed the company and gave them all the dimensions for a simple bar ledge to be constructed. No reply.
On March 26, I emailed again. After talking on the phone about the project, I followed up again via email in April.
On April 16, 2015, I sent full payment. They projected up to 4 weeks for completion.
On May 6, 2015, I emailed to inquire the status. They responded that it should be completed «by next week.»
After several email and phone attempts with no answer or reply, I sent an email asking for a refund on 01 July 2015. I still had no update on my product nor was it obviously complete. Suddenly, they got into gear and it really sounded like they barely had done anything in the past months.
I sent the dimensions and instructions multiple times and they still didn’t understand some details of wanting a lip on the bar to prevent glasses from being pushed off. They didn’t understand that I wanted one edge of the ledge to have a soft roundish cut rather than a simple 90 degree cut. I sent a diagram.
I demanded a picture before shipping. It looked okay but in person it was another story. The lip on the ledge was two pieces of wood rather than one long one to span the length. If it had to be two pieces put together, they could have taken more care in blending the mating area. There was no beauty to it. No character. It was an embarrassment and I would never place that in my home.
The whole reason I even came to them is because I saw how beautiful their other furniture was but apparently they can’t take custom designs. And they can’t be up front with you and tell you that they can’t do a project. Instead they take your money and hope that you stop following up.
I expressed my dissatisfaction and they said they «already started» building a replacement. I said I just prefer a refund. No response. Some time went by and I filed a dispute via PayPal since that’s how I paid them. This action got my refund.
They should also pay their shipping company who still expects payment. BTW, they use a shipping company who has a «forfeited» status and therefore, should not be doing business in the first place.

I never usually write reviews, but the experience I had with this company was so bad, I felt I had to. I ordered a table in July 2014, it was delivered in Nov 2014 after promising to be ready in two months. There were so many things wrong with it, that I immediately called the company. There was sap leaking from the wood, which if it is reclaimed should not happen. There was so many marks and gouges on the table and the benches. It was very poorly put together with raw edges on the benches which would rip clothing and the table had spaces between the panels. It was also 6″ shorter than ordered. After sending numerous photos, they agreed to replace it in December 2014, I was told it would be another 6 – 8 weeks. After waiting the allotted time, I contacted them again and was told it was ready for pickup by the delivery company. Since this time, I heard nothing from them, no response to emails or calls. Luckily American Express returned my money for the table which is useless. However, I’m still out of pocket by $ 300 as the delivery company required cash payment.
