I had an appointment scheduled and when I got to the store I was told they couldn’t get to my car. When I told them a light was going off in my car and I didn’t feel safe driving it they told me to leave it overnight. Since I got my tires shipped to NTB I got all of them and brought my business to pepboys. I believe it was a little more expensive but they were able to get the works done in less than two hours.

BLUF– If you need tires there’s a COSTCO just down the street. The arrogance of the guy is what made this decision so easy. It was as if he knew I needed tires soon and he held the only 4 tires on the planet. I waited 30 mins to see someone and they would change the tires in about 4 hours. Ugh, but I needed it done. The price was higher than I was quoted. There were additional charges on the invoice for disposal fee and such, which were not on the estimate. When I asked about it the employee said that I should look at it as me paying him to take them to the dumpster for me. That was accompanied by a little chuckle under his breath as he was obviously impressed by his own attempt at humor. No chuckle here pal. I won’t be back.

This place is slow as molasses. I went here to get a plug put in one tire, a procedure that should take about 30 – 40 mins. The guy at the counter told me it would be «about an hour». I thought that seemed a little long, but reasonable, so I went to the waiting room. Three hours later my car was done.

Free wifi. That’s the best I can say about this place. I’ve been going here for the past 5 years and I’ve noticed a marked decline in quality of service. Prices aren’t that great, but it’s nearby so when a tire blows, I usually end up here. They used to be pretty snappy, but they seem to sit on cars for a LONG time even if there isn’t a backlog. It took them three hours to change a single tire and there were only two other cars in the shop. Anyway, I sent my wife here to get a single tire replaced and they tried to sell her four new tires. Some sob story about how they weren’t allowed to sell single tires to SUVs because it was illegal and she had to have four new tires. So the bull$h!t detector immediately went off and she turned around and left. Ladies: be forewarned! The last straw was when my tire had a slow leak and it took them three hours to fix it. When I got home, I looked at the tire and it wasn’t the new tire I blew $ 160 on. I took it back and the manager said it was standard practice to rotate the new front tire for the used rear tire. So, yeah, they put on a new tire, but they didn’t tell me they swapped it for the rear. Anyway, this place is more hassle than it’s worth. If you’re in the neighborhood, go someplace else. There are any number of tire places off Eisenhower Avenue and near Springfield that rate higher than this place. And check the reviews of all the other NTBs. They’re not exactly stellar.

Horrible all around. Do not go here. They will rip you off — brakes, tires, doesn’t matter.

DONOTWASTEYOURTIMEWITHTHISSTORE! I called ahead to make sure the wait wasn’t too long. I left my house and was there in 15 mins. Only to have them tell me, it’ll be a 3 hr wait to get my tire fixed. I specifically asked if they could service my car right away and they said yes. But when i got there, they gave me some BS story about a worker not showing up and now they were backed up and for me to come back tmr. Lame.

THEBAD ~ I visited this place twice in two days and the lines are usually about 3 – 6 people deep. On my first visit, someone behind the counter acknowledged me after about 7 minutes and the second time I was there none of the waiting folks were acknowledged. ~ They appear to be short staffed up front ~ Customers are not really made to feel like they are special or that their service is valued. Basically on a scale of 1 — 10 the customer service is a level 4 THEGOOD ~ The lines may be long, but that is because each customer is taken care of individually with care. They make sure to answer all of your questions and make you feel comfortable and satisfied before taking your keys. ~ The person who assisted me also helped another guy and he «took» his time with the guy to make sure that the guy was comfortable. The person was not yet ready to pay that much money for the service and requested a print-out. He was given the printout and from where I stood noticed that he was treated fairly. When It was my turn in line, the person also took their time with me. At one point, I was hesistant because of the cost and the guy said«well take a few minutes and let me know». He didn’t rush me or anything. After about 5 minutes I said, «Sure go ahead and do it». ~ There is a waiting room but I didn’t check it for cleanliness [I opted to go home and wait] ~ I received good service for what I paid for ~ The person who came and drove my car around was pleasant and appeared knowledgeable ~ I didn’t wait for my car, I went home… within 45 minutes, I received a call that my car was complete. I didn’t have to call them. ~ I received fast service [I bought two new tires and also got an alignments] ~ I came back the next day after my initial service due to an issue that I noticed. When it was«finally» my turn, they took care of my concerns. Not with a smile but they took care of my concern. ~ I had a special request with my service and the person assisting me wrote my request on the paperwork. OVERALL I will definitely use their services again. I’ll just make sure to have the mindset that I may have to wait in a long line before being helped, but once I am helped they will answer all of my questions AND take their time with me. Their service was good and I will use them again.
