It started with a quirky project to sew some flotation panels that could be zipped into the head of my main. The proprietor Dean and his staff knew enough about sails to ensure these panels did not distort the camber of the top of the sail. From there it was patches for spinnakers and crafting a canvas boat cover. One big thing I like about Potomac Sailmakers is they are practical and will tell you if that sail just won’t hunt. I really appreciate this great resource and I don’t miss at all driving out to Annapolis every time I need someone to repair a batten pocket. Strongly recommend this amazing loft for canvas and sail work.
