When I moved to Alexandria, I was on the hunt for a new salon and found Skyline Salon. I’m so happy that I did. This salon is extremely clean and hygienic, which is of utmost importance! I LOVE my nail tech Kim, she is amazing. My nails always look fabulous.

This is the best place for nails and hair. I have been a steady and happy customer for a long time. The techs are terrific and owner Thai makes sure that everyone is pleased and happy. The ‘work’ is done with care and confidence. The pedi is the best. I highly recommend this friendly, clean and meticulous.

I enjoy getting my nails done here and the staff are friendly. It’s not a large salon, so do expect a few wait times if you are a walk-​in.

Much more professional than the avg nail salon! First, the space is homey and not sterile like most salons. Very warm and welcoming. My sweet technician was insanely thorough and meticulous, patiently helped me change my mind about color 3 times. I showed a picture of the shape and it’s identical to my nails. Very friendly and customer service oriented. Obviously very well cleaned. Great prices. Will be back!

Finally!!! After years of going to the same place, I finally found someone that did my nails the exact way I wanted them, without too much direction. Thai did my nails, it was my first time, and she is AMAZING. The client sitting next to me has been going to Thai for 10 years now, and I believe her when she said Thai is amazing. She has light hands, is very very sweet, and I have gotten sooooo many compliments on my nails. Will definitely be staying with this Salon for a while!

Really enjoyed my visit in today. I called to make an appointment but it wasn’t really busy for a Saturday afternoon. The woman I had was friendly and kept mostly to herself which I didn’t mind I liked watching her technic. She did very well. I got a full set of gel nails and she did three coats with three top coats. I’m getting married next weekend so I asked to have «I do» written on my ring finger. She free handed and did nice and didn’t charge me for the design or glitter. I paid 55 dollars for the full set but am very pleased considering its for a special occasion. She offered me a beverage and gave me a 5 dollar off coupon since I was a new customer for next time. I enjoyed my experience and although I don’t get my nails done regularly I’ll more than likely return. :)

Finally found a salon where I can get a perfect pedicure! The service is amazing from the moment you walk through the door to the moment you leave. It is relaxing and everyone who works there is kind. This will definitely be my go to salon from now on!

Went after work for gel manicure and pedicure. It was amazing! The owner did my manicure and its perfect. They take their time and are meticulous. I recommend making an appointment. This will be my new nail spot for sure!

These ladies made this experience awesome. I was a walk in and totally expected to be turned away. They were so friendly and very attentive. I got a gel manicure and a brow wax by Tina. She listened to everything I asked and went above and beyond. She didn’t rush and took her time. They started conversations and made you feel so welcome. Thai was so sweet and made sure I always had something to drink and answered every question I had! Found my new nail salon (: I will definitely be going back.

I have been searching for the perfect pedi place since moving to Alexandria a month ago. Found it!
When I showed up, the place was packed. I made an appointment for a little later and came back. Muoi gave me a fantastic pedicure. Clean tools, trimmed my cuticles meticulously, and painted perfectly. I will definitely be back!

I finally found my new pedicure spot. I like long relaxing, soaking, pedicures, where my feet are butter soft and all the cuticles and skin and nails are treated. I’ve visited almost every nail salon/​spa in the area, and this one gave the best pedicure. I wasn’t rushed, and I feel like they took their time. I was not all that impressed with the scrubbing and filing of my skin, as sometimes I have hard crusty areas that need help, but I’ll see over the next few times. All in all, the best so far! Give them a try if you are not a rush person.

Wonderful place. I went yesterday without an appointment and was immediately seated for my pedicure. The tech took her time and was thorough. It was amazing and I know I will be back to try out their other services.

This is a charming salon/​spa. The owner, Thai is very committed to customer service and goes above and beyond to ensure a quality experience, relaxing and classy environment and superior service.
She turned this previous pigs ear into a silk purse, and offers high end facials, hair service and massage in addition to full nail services.
I’ve followed Thai for several years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. You won’t regret it.

What a low down dirty shame.
A real shame that this place is almost nothing like it was when it was run by Sue. The previous owner, despite the look of the place, understood business and from my visit this past week (my first visit to them since they renovated last year), I got the feeling that the new owner perhaps doesn’t quite know what it takes to make this business keep the reputation it once enjoyed.
This past week, I was happy to walk in mid-​afternoon on a Friday to find only one other person in there. The renovation is beautiful. And, they now focus on doing hair and facials rather than doing nails and waxing like they were previously focused on. They still have the beautiful pedicure spa chairs that were there when I was last there.
So, what’s different?
The staff is meh. The girl who worked on me was nice enough, but she tried to push me into getting shellac. I don’t like places that upsell. The other lady who was there working on another client was just a little aloof and was lounging around in a spa pedicure chair when her client left — it was just a bit odd to see an employee straight chillin’ on the job like that. I understand she must’ve been tired after taking — what looked like over an hour — on her previous client’s nails, but at least go relax away from the sight of other clients… just doesn’t look very professional.
The biggest problem I had with this visit? And, why won’t I be back? I saw the girl who was working on me pocket all the cash I paid for my service. All $ 28 dollars of it. And, get this… I walk in asking for a polish change on my hands and feet, and when I was done, I was expecting she charge maybe $ 15 at the most… nope, she said the charge was $ 25, and it kinda seemed liked she pulled that figure out of her mind because she hesitated a bit before telling me. Also, there is no price listing anywhere visible or that I could see (brochure or anything)…my bad on that part, but still…
The polish on my hands and feet is holding up, but it’s only been 2 full days so, hard to tell.
I’m sad about this. Hopefully, this doesn’t happen to others. Beware though!
