I know, it is just Subway, but most of us frequent them on occasion, right? Well, I had a lovely experience here yesterday. I was in a hurry and headed off to meet a friend waaaaay out in Stafford, so I was not particularly patient. No need. The woman behind the counter was as efficient as she was friendly. We even had a lively conversation about nose piercings (I have mine for self-expression reasons and hers is traditional to the social norms in her native country India). It was a really nice exchange that made for a pleasant encounter. I would not hesitate to return. I would even like another chat with this friendly staff.

The gentleman who waited seemed to have a problem waiting on me, was rude, had a difficult time following my order, and threw stuff at me. Sorry, maybe I’m just expect to be treated with dignity.

If you’re coming out of the Hampton Inn, turn right on King Street and it’s a short walk. It does indeed close at 9pm, just like the Dunkin Donuts on the other side of Hampton Inn. It was raining tonight when I went, but Subway didn’t close early, which I appreciate. Not many food options on King Street at night, so this Subway is your best bet.
The place is clean. The workers were accurate and extremely patient with my large group. Lots of tables, more than I’ve seen at most Subways. I’d recommend it.
