I have been meaning to try this place for a while, because the smell wafting over the Harris Teeter parking lot is amazing. Finally stopped in today, and I won’t be back. The chicken that smells so good is stacked high in a glass box, reminiscent of a mass grave. Similarly, there are about ten pounds of French fries under a heat lamp that were cooked some amount of time in the past. I went with the chicken burrito, because the mass grave scared me. It was clumsily wrapped(had to eat most with a fork) in a ho hum tortilla and was nothing special. Some of those fries came with it… Tasting as you’d expect. Dipping them in the green sauce propped them up some, but not enough. I miss San Diego taco shop burritos, but this place made me miss the explicit board of health grades in the window. I am not daring enough to try this stuff without reassurance that everything is to code.

Food quality and the amount of food you get is great. I have been eating at this place since it first open and never had an issue. I’m always filled up and it’s nice to get a meal for under ten dollars.

Gotta say, Super Pollo is by far the best of the chicken places. Chicken is amazing and their chick pea side makes me coming back for more. Highly recommended!

We get take-out from here on a monthly basis. The location has good parking, they accept credit cards, and has a large spacious area to dine-in. Customer-service is hit or miss. Sometimes they load you up on extra sauce ONLY if you ask them to. The chicken is delicious, and I feel like they are best in the NOVA area. Love their chickpeas and spinach is also good, but often too oily. The green sauce and white sauce are the best and what makes this place stand out! Their yucca is pretty dry though. Plantains are OK, and sometimes dry. Rice is fluffy and moist. I want to try their other offerings, but so far we only get the chicken and sides here. Prices are reasonable for half a chicken and 2 sides it’s $ 10!

Nothing special. The food was actually kinda cold and the plantains were hard the second time I tried it. Don’t think I’d go back :/however the lady working the seating section was very attentive and nice.

Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve received. Won’t be going back. The cashier was on his cell phone when I’m trying to pay my bill. Yet he catches an attitude with me when only rings up half the order! Like its my fault he’s on his phone and not paying any attention. The food itself was subpar, dry chicken and tasteless sides. Everything tasted like it got zapped in a microwave. Keep driving and pass this place. Don’t stop.

Don’t get me wrong, their chicken and side orders are awesome. But if you order anything non– standard it takes forever!!! Waited a good 40 mins for kebabs recently and once before for their fish. Yuca fries are very good. Mainly have my beef with the wait times.

We get take-out from Super Pollo regularly. The chicken is very good, as are the chickpeas. Spinach is also good but often too oily. The green sauce is great, I use leftover sauce to season my own cooking.

Terrible service, poor customer interaction and food that has lost flavor from sitting excessively. Choose another place that is friendlier and healthier.

RIDICULOUS, delicious chicken. And sides. And the portions of those sides. Ree-dik-u-lous.

folks, this is not a Latino restaurant. stopped on a cold snowy day to get some good Latino food and it ended up being a kabob house. expensive for the food. they slopped the coleslaw all over the French fries, and got them all soggy. no one was happy with the food(take out). will not eat there again.

Only reason why I come here is because they serve halal meat. Great chicken and sides for a quick lunch, only thing I do not like it the service. I tried to pay separately one time and the dude on the register who barely understood english, charged all the meals onto one credit card! I tried telling him to refund it and I will pay cash, he said no refunds and yelled out next customer. I mean If you’re going to run a business at least have people who fluently speak english or know how to issue refunds. SMDH

Only reason I do not give 5 stars is that they are slooooow if you order anything but the premade rotisserie chicken. The kabob was excellent as were the spinach and chickpea sides. Its an odd mashup of a Peruvian chicken joint and the sort of kabob place frequented by Pakistani cabdrivers. The kabobs are cooked in a tandoor and come with naan(also good). The sides I ordered had the flavor you expect at a kabob place. The plaintains and beans and yucca are totally Latino as is the staff, which doesn’t speak much English. Chicken looked as good as the kabobs though so I definitely recommend.

Good stuff. Juicey chicken with sides. This place is bare bones but is great for take out. I love the chickpeas and fried yucca!

Typical Peruvian chicken for NOVA. They have a better variety of dishes that you may want to explore. The portions are great and the prices fair. They take credit cards. The place is generally clean including bathrooms. The service is efficient but not special.

My favorite local, cheap place to eat. Great, tender chicken. The sides are also delirious and they are generous on portions. The only complaint is the fact that there is rarely anyone that can speak English there, and the temperature is usually uncomfortable. So, unusually dine-in.

Peruvian Chicken joints are much the same when it comes to menu content and atmosphere. They all serve chicken and steak with similar choices of sides and they all preserve the middle school cafeteria ambiance. Where they usually differ is in chicken taste and quality and in their sauces. Super Pollo is on par with most other high ranked Peruvian chicken places in the area. Both their sauces and chicken don’t blow you away but they also don’t dissappoint. i choose Super Pollo because of convenience more so than desire, but it hits the spot.

I was across the street at the laundromat and decided to pop in to give it a try. Solid Peruvian chicken with good sides, though the yucca fries I got clearly had been sitting a while. I’d come back if I was in the area again, but don’t know that I’d make a special trip.

Not a bad place for some charbroiled chicken Very juice with a nice lil crisp on the skin. Awesome selection on sides too, not sure your beans and rice or coleslaw and fries. This is definitely one of my reg places, but my favorite is still Pollo Rico in Arlington
