We had a number of plumbing issues and decided to use the Irish Plumber who had listed their services in our parish bulletin. After thoroughly explaining each function he proposed to perform and the related prices, we decided to limit the services provided to replacing the cartridge in a bathroom faucet and cleaning and tightening a pipe under the kitchen sink to eliminate a leak. Total cost was a little more than $ 400. The technician was in our house approximately and hour and a half. The work done was professional but extremely pricey. One of the issues we did not pursue with the plumber was a quote of $ 200 to replace a leaky spout in the bathroom shower. Based on information rpovided by the internet, we were able to replace the leaky spout ourself in 10 minutes with a $ 12 part. Unlike other plumbers we have used in the past, we were not provided with an invoice showing labor and parts costs broken out separately. We will likely go back to our old plimber who just charges a reasonable hourly rate and parts.

I was very impressed with the customer service exhibited by these guys. I had a leak in my laundry sink faucet. I had put it off for a long time, until last week when I noticed that the washing machine feed had started to leak as well. I did my best to tighten the 35 year old fixtures over the past months, unfortunately this time it sprung a leak that was shooting into the air and onto the floor. I called Kieran at The Irish Plumber. He was very helpful. He asked me to send a picture which I did. His communication was excellent and he responded right away. Told me what I already suspected, they would have to be replaced. I explained that the budget was tight and he offered to work with me. If I bought the fixtures he would have his guys install them. He further went on to say he couldn’t have anyone there for 2 days. I told him I had to shut off the water and that waiting 2 days wasn’t and option. Within 20 mins he called back and had someone come out that afternoon. The person who arrived was very knowledgeable and had the repair complete in an hour and a half! And did it for a very reasonable rate!

We can’t thank the Irish Plumbers enough! Very courteous, neat, clean, on time, and knowledgeable– they even fixed a leaking kitchen faucet for free, that wasn’t the problem A severely clogged kitchen sink led to our call. Having gone to the larger outfits in the past two years with mediocre results, we felt we ought to try this smaller local company. Surprised and very pleased. They take the time to explain things and prepare the site, protecting all surfaces. Will have them come back for other jobs now! The luck of the Irish be with you!

The plumber who showed up at my door was not Irish! :) But he was nice and knowledgeable and did a good job. He also showed up at my house on time. The pipes under my kitchen sink had been leaking because a previous, clueless contractor had not sealed my pipes properly. The Irish plumber sealed them, and I have not had any problems in the months since then. In addition, the previous contractor had hooked up my garbage disposal incorrectly (somehow not up to code), and the Irish plumber fixed it. Plumbers are expensive, but the prices here were fine. This business is licensed and insured and is a member of the Better Business Bureau. I WILL call them in the future when I have another plumbing need, be it for a toilet, water heater, dishwasher, faucet installation, drain, or anything else. A good plumber is hard to find, but this plumber is a good one. (P.S. If you are wondering why I knocked off a star, I am a picky, hard-​to-​impress person!)

It is so refreshing to find a service provider like this. They are polite, upfront, and will help you any way possible. I’ve used them numerous times and they are always great and affordable.
Most recently my water heater exploded — after hours of dealing with home owner warranty provided plumbers, none had actually shown up. I t was a Friday at 4pm now, and I was worried this would last all weekend. I gave up and called the Irish Plumber, they were over within the hour. They worked until 9pm, hauling equipment in/​out in the pouring rain. They were polite till the end and cleaned everything up.

We’ve used three plumbers in the area and will only use the Irish Plumber going forward. We’ve hired them twice. Their technicians are so polite and professional. Before completing the work they go over the costs and have a binder that lists all of the charges associated with each repair so you know you’re not being taken advantage of or that it’s just what they feel like charging that day.
They are excellent about cleaning up the work space and going over repairs with you. And both times the plumbers have done something to save us money. Can’t recommend them enough!
