Whiz Cleaners

Don’t go anywhere else. Not much to look at from the outside, but they do a great job at very reasonable prices. I have had some alterations done with no issues, and am now going to try out their shoe repair service. The dry cleaning is done well every time — no creases in the shirts where they shouldn’t be, but perfect crisp creases in the slacks. Peter is very friendly, and their professionalism gives me confidence that they will do anything well.

We have been using Whiz for a year. Truly professional excellent service! Before we get in the door, they have our clothes out and ready for us. They always greet us with a smile. Our clothes are always perfectly cleaned! They also do excellent alterations! We drive 2 miles out of the way for Whiz, because of their excellent and 100% reliable service!

We took it on faith that the Unilocal reviews were accurate. It’s not always the case, however, with respect to Whiz the reviews were on the mark! This shop has the best service in the area. We took curtains that we had been told were a total loss, and threw a proverbial Hail Mary to Whiz. Well, they caught the pass and ran it in for the touchdown! They are truly «Whiz“ards of dry cleaning!

The dry cleaner Whiz is like clockwork with their efficient professional approach to dry cleaning, and that is coming from someone who for years avoided the dry cleaning industry, because of thoughts like, why not do it myself, what if my clothing gets lost, is it too expensive, is it a tiresome errand, will anyone tell the difference, etc. Side note: for those asking if they do alterations, yes, they do, but it is a tad bit of a pricey investment, that I have a no knowledge of, seeing as how I never put the $ into converting some Banana Republic bell bottoms into straight cut.
Back to Whiz, so, then I put on my big man pants this morning, that were dry cleaned there, a few seasons ago, which held up after months of no wearings and lack of folding; which when brought out from the pile, the pants looked alright, and fit comfortably loose. Clothed and at the office, I thought with my brain, I am glad I have the free time to enjoy the luxury of hobbies after work instead of grinding out my own dry cleaning with an iron & board into the wee hours of the night. In my sights, after several months of transactions with them, dry cleaning is not dead ended or hopeless, instead it is a completely necessary cornerstone to fitting in with the working world, and I forgot to mention, if one dry cleaner isn’t doing it for you, there are others to chose from.
So, after getting some less than desirable service from a different dry cleaner whose name I am with holding, because they did do great work for years and years, but, I guess I just got butt hurt from a few shoddy experiences under their business practice, and I went up hill to this place just across from establishments like Outback, Marshalls, Lowe’s, etc. Back to Whiz, I found this one from a helpful recommendation, which means that someone else thinks this place is good (does that mean this is a double whammy review?).
Lastly, the one star reduction from a 5 star, was quite simply because I don’t know why, but I am not sure that they are not perfect.

I’ve been going to Whiz cleaners for about eight months and have received consistent and on time service. The workers, including the owner, are VERY friendly and extremely professional.
I’ve made the mistake in the past of trying to get my dry cleaning for cheap, and the old saying holds true: you get what you pay for. It’s a little more expensive than some of the other cleaners around, but when you pay hundreds of dollars for a suit, isn’t it worth taking care of?
