This location has slide down hill very quick, I wish there was a 0 I could give. The quality & the service. These young kids who work here have no personality & should not be in a customer service position, especially a Megan(supposedly a mgr) JoKe! My last & final visit was yesterday when my daughter almost threw-up her ice cream. It was disgusting & when we went to bring it back this Megan stated their ice creams are sugar free… um eXcuse me, NO the frostbites are NOT sugar free nor did we order sugar free. So she switched it out with another flavor and it was just as disgusting, I feel these ice creams are spoiled that’s how bad they were. Also the machines may not be clean because the rest of this place does not look well unkept! This Megan is stating she has no idea what wrong with the ice cream & another worker there want back to try & also stated that she agreed with us, that it did not taste well! This is not the first issue of quality at this location, this owner needs to fix these issues or this location will be CLOSED shortly!!! Also they serve stale waffle cones!

I agree with the other reviewers– the workers here are the problem. I wouldn’t say they are rude or awful, but they’re just not friendly, personable, or happy, so it seems! Of all places, an ice cream place in the middle of summer should have some nice and happy employees working there! I don’t think I saw one smile from the kids working there. I’m pretty sure they’re just high schoolers doing a summer job, but Oberwweis should provide some guidance on some people skills at a minimum. Very disappointing. Also, the store needs some music or something to make it more fun. They do have some chess boards set up, but that’s about the extent of their fun factor. The ice cream, of course, is delicious and their prices are reasonable. A kid size(pictured below) is acceptable for any age and is a single, but rather hefty, scoop and it’s only $ 2. Each size goes up $ 1.

This place has disappointed me for the last time. The last few times I’ve been there, they have been out of the ice cream flavor I’ve wanted. They haven’t had frozen yogurt for well over a year now — apparently they are waiting for a part to fix their machine(not buying that excuse any more), and went there again with my two young girls recently(and for the last time) and were told they were even out of napkins — are you kidding me?!? To top it all off, the customer service is terrible — just a bunch a teenagers who really couldn’t care less. Done with this place.

The ice cream is amazing! This would be a five star review if it wasn’t for one simple thing: The customer service is awful! This store is run by teenagers so don’t expect much, especially if you want to be greeted by someone at the front counter who has the ability to speak and not just stare at you.

Went through drive thru to pick up a bottle of milk and a shake, thinking it would be quick and easier since my son was sleeping in the car. Totally took forever! I’ve been buying milk weekly at Oberweis for over a year and half now and I’ve never had problems until now. After I paid, the cashier said, it’s coming right up. I noticed a girl behind her making my strawberry shake and she handed it to us once she was done. Then she walked off. I thought she was either gonna get the other girl or get or milk. NOTHING. After about 5 minutes sitting in drive thru, a guy comes up to the window asking if he can help us. «I’m waiting for my bottle of milk.» Guy tells me that we still owe $ 4.35. NO, the other girl already charged my credit card but hasn’t given me my milk nor receipt. WORST service ever!

I went here last month and had a great experience! I’d never been to an Oberweis before and I loved that the milk came in glass bottles! I went in and decided to try a quart of lemonade and a quart of Black Cherry ice cream. While I was being rung up, I looked at the scrumptious Apple Crisp on the menu and ordered it as well. I sat and ate it in the store’s café section and it was delicious! I wouldn’t recommend trying to order any of their desserts to go; my pastry for the apple crisp was piping hot and it would have melted all my ice cream by the time I got home. But– it was great to eat it in store!
