The Children’s Place

The ease of online shopping has limited my experience coming to this location. My son wears a slim cut in his pants and jeans, and this is not offered in-​store.
So coming here is not a regular occasion, and after my visit yesterday, it still won’t be.
Let’s get the good stuff out of the way. If you’ve bought clothes from here, you know that it’s good quality. With kids, you’ll be washing clothing so often, you want to know the stitching will hold up, and it does. The prices are moderate, most pants/​jeans are $ 12-​$ 15, shirts a little less. There’s always good promotions though, and rewards, so shop smart. Shop online.
Coming here feels like a trap. There’s constant pushing of add-​ons and the credit card and rewards program. The staff are friendly, but in that artificial sweetness kind of way. Every compliment about my kids turned into a potential sale. It made me uncomfortable.
I came in here because I needed a rush outfit and couldn’t wait for delivery. I was in the store for less than 10 minutes, and it felt 10 minutes too long.
I will continue to support this brand because of the quality of product. I will just try to stick to online shopping in the future.

Love this place :) Great staff and awesome prices on some really adorable clothes. You can usually find a decent coupon on their website to use in the stores — way better than paying the shipping fee.
