It must be fun for Latinos because this place was full of Latinos when I was there. Simple dance floor, drinks aren’t too expensive, the waitresses are nice, but it’s just not for me I guess. It’s kinda crowded sometimes, but some people like it crowded, so no complains.

Decent place to hang out late at night. Their blue moon drink is my favorite. It’s 21 and over with more women than men. Place is usually jam-packed after 11:00PM with few seats and the dance floor is very small. If being elbow to elbow with everybody else on the dance floor bothers you, do not come here.

I’m never coming here again under any circumstance, even if it’s a friend’s or loved one’s party. I came here on a Saturday night with a few friends for a night out, but I lagged a minute or two to finish up a phone call. When I tried to go in, they tried charged me $ 10. Knowing the people I came with, the majority of them wouldn’t pay $ 10 to come into this sh*t hole so I asked if that’s standard, and the lady said yes. Then when I met up with my friends, I asked them about it and they said they didn’t have to pay to go in. Ridiculous. Out of anger, I refused to spend any money there. The club itself is crap. Music isn’t bad, but the man to woman ratio is like 8 – 1. The crowd is mostly Hispanic and Asian. On the way out I asked the lady who stole my money about charging me and she said she didn’t know why that group(all male) got in free. Afterwards, we went across the street to Fronteras(which at the moment only has a half star better rating than Azul). The crowd was a little bit older, but the music was a lot better, and drinks were cheaper(so I heard). People here were actually having fun, and there was plenty of space to dance. The best part? No cover charge. I paid for my drinks in cash, and I spent a good amount because they treated me right. For most of you, I recommend going elsewhere before deciding to come to Azul. I’ve never had a fun night here, but due to this last poor experience, I won’t give them a dime of my money.

Monday night was great. Great promoter easy to talk to and he and his staff are good people. It is always cool to meet Richards people.

Don’t come here ever. The manager who wouldn’t give me his name when I asked for it refuses to let me out the exit. He says it’s an emergency exit but there is nothing that says it’s an emergency exit. I feel like a prisoner and I’m tempted to call the cops. He said tomorrow they would update the sign as so not to confuse future guests. I doubt that. They charge a 5 buck cover for shitty music n and a crappy atmosphere and it seems as though women are being paid to talk to customers. I wish I had never been and I’m glad it was so dead at 1130 on a Saturday night they let us in for free when we refused to pay the cover. Back away … and never to come to this crappy crappy excuse for a club.

Clubs don’t often get stellar ratings, but Azul is baaaaad. Friday nights at Azul you will usually find about 150 dudes and maybe 5 girls(and yes, it is very Hispanic). We had a party there recently and were the only ones dancing. Don’t waste your time unless you are bringing the party with you. Music is decent.

Hole in the wall but it gets popping. Free cover charge. 21+ and it’s pretty cool. Low ratings because the dj can’t spin at all. Played the same 3 song. The place is pretty small. Dance floor is popping but by 11 a lot of people are already drunk. More girls then guys.

The owners must be Giants fan cause they were hating on our dodgers jersey. Came to old town pasadena and no problem anywhere. Azul was dead as fuck anyways. So if you’re a dodgers fan, don’t go to azul. They should call it naranja cause they Sf giants fans.

This club seems like it got stuck in the 90s. Every song played for the first three hours there was 90s Hip-hop. This place didn’t get good until around midnight when they changed the music. They became to play Edm, and everyone started dancing. They played for about an hour then the last ten minutes they placed two Maña songs. For a club named Azul I was surprised at whoever was the dj. I expected more Spanish songs. The club itself was nice instead. Dress code wasn’t too strick; I saw a few guys with tennis shoes and jeans. I didn’t buy any drinks, so I don’t know how they are or how much. The group of people that came to Azul the Friday night I attended were older Hispanic people. Most people here were in their midthirties. That could be a reason for the type of music they played. This was no my type of club, but if you’re a die hard 90s hip-hop fan in your midthirties you should give it a shot.

Music was pretty good. Music kept changing so if you don’t like one song it changes. Some music got repeated which was kinda annoying. There was hip hop music, rave music, Spanish music, which is pretty diverse for a small dance lounge. People aren’t drunk when dancing. I feel that its for more ppl who are in the late 20s. Dj Is pretty bomb… all I gotta say. People there seems to know one another. There were some guys that just stand and watch people dancing. kinda creepy but I feel that’s in all clubs. The floor was pretty clean. There were two gogo dancers. I enjoyed the music variety.

The drinks are great, the place is nicely decorated, but management needs improvement. Went on a Tuesday night to celebrate a friends birthday and to my surprise it was quite full, maybe due to their $ 2 martini specials. The bartenders are great, they don’t skimp on the alcohol like most places. The music was good since it was old school hip hop on Tuesdays. Nice place to go and have a drink, relax and enjoy yourself

Thursday night, rap or whatever it is… full of rachets, basic bitches.(learned these words from a 20yr old) Not the place for me… The only reason I gave it two stars: interior is nice, 2 bars and I can have fun with my friends… Maybe different crowd/music on other nights? Oh and yes, agree with other reviews, guys just looking in a creepy kind of way… Overly crowded by midnight smelly sweaty people attempting to rub against you.

After all these years, finally hit up AZUL hahaha. What’s a chinito like me doing at Azul? I guess I just wanted to check it out. It’s exactly what I had expected. 95% hispanic crowd. Guy to girl ratio is meh. Ignorant guys tryna bring drinks on to the dance floor and tryna start fights becuz someone dancing bumped into them. Yup it’s that type of place. I mean, besides that, I really like the urban music they play. Girls getting racket, guys just standing around lookin thirsty. Drinks are weak and expensive, but they don’t charge cover on Thursday night. And it was a full house. But if you wanna go dancing. There’s always room on the dance floor. Not like those Asian clubs. you can actually walk around. Not bad Azul, not bad at all.

The manager is great here, I got bottle service for my birthday and he took care of everything. Great staff and great service. Let me put up balloons and even comped us some champagne. This Tuesday night was old school hip hop and it was just a chill place to kick back with all if my friends. Thank you azul!!!

I went on 2÷14÷14 Why two stars? Nice venue. Good service with the bartenders. I asked if they had lemonade and they didn’t. They made fresh lemonade with blueberry vodka. It was very good! Why not 5 stars? Not my kind of crowd. They let guys in with hats ? The crowd was very random. The music was good at the beginning of the night and then turned really random! It was hip hop but it wasn’t anything to really dance to. I believe latino 96.3 was dj-ing. Usually I like that station but they failed me last night. The MC was really vulgar and I’m not about throwing my middle finger in the air. And I’m not ok with him degrading women. They also had a «show me your… tattoo, underwear» contest for HELLOKITTY glasses, so pathetic! It gets really crowded. My friend tells me that last night the crowd was different, so i’m open to giving it another chance. I’m glad I didn’t pay a cover charge but eventually they did end up charging cover fees. I wouldn’t pay to come into this place. The venue and the are had a DT Fullerton feel but it doesn’t live up to it.

Came here to support the locals, Jayvee Dance Studio, comedy show fundraiser. Comedy show was great because it was a small location, more personal and enjoyable. As far as club wise, meh, I pass, super small, bartender are slow and rude. Music is your top 40’s hits. I would only come here in supports of a good cause. Oh and when someone asks for Bourbon and coke, they don’t mean jack and coke. Aiya!
