My sister worked here and i came to visit whenever i could bc i loved the food so much but I’m sad to say that this location has closed down since my sister quit bc she has to move away. I heard the store owner, Gavin, has another location elsewhere tho!

Whaaaaaattttt!!! Over priced. Not very inventive or good food. The place was empty. I had the chicken salad. Imagine flame broiler chicken on salad instead of rice. I guess they did«elevate» the salad with the canned mandarin oranges. In all honesty they could have skipped the oranges. Tacos basically… Soy sauce marinated carne asada. Over it.

I love tacos. I love KBBQ. If you’re a huge fan of these two, you HAVE to try this place. Whoever thought of this is a genius. Just let this imagination marinate in your head… bugolgi chimichangas. Not only is the food great, but also the customer service. I noticed that it was not only my server that was very polite, but the rest were as well! Once I walked in, I was greeted with a very warm welcome as I was handed a menu. During the time-being while I was eating, the servers were very attentive in regards to refilling my drink or if I just simply needed anything. During the past few times that I visited, it seems to not be a very busy place and I find it very ironic because the food of Mexican and Asian fusion is delicious! Overall, I definitely recommend this place for those who have not tried it and for those who have, drag your friends and family here because they deserve the customers!

Place seems clean and friendly, service was quick. Got the short rib burrito. It was satisfying but disappointing. There was practically no meat in the last section of the burrito, just rice and veggies.

The ambiance is cool, music, tvs, good service, but the most important aspect is the food! I loved the Korean sliders, mushroom poppers, and short rib taco. The fish Taco was lacking flavor so I didn’t waste my tummy space on it. Instead we ordered more Korean sliders. So good! We came on a Sunday after 3pm since the boiling crab was packed and we didn’t want to wait. This place was so much better. No wait, and good food! Plus they have happy hour on Sunday after 230pm too! Awesome!

Well after seeing this on Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives I decided to take my family on a road trip to Alhambra from the San Fernando Valley(Luckily Not Much Traffic). As we walk in the server directs us to our table and hands us our menu(Very Polite), she takes our drink order«They Have Beer PBRYES!» The menu is interesting, many infused choices and honestly I wanted to order everything on it, but I had to settle for the a few items. We started with the Jalapeño Bombs & they were the«BOMB» great crisp, spicy and full of flavor(Really Needed My PBR after the first bite) Lol. Our order was Spicy Pork Tacos, Short Rib Tacos, Beef Bul-Go-Gi Burrito and let me tell you something… «WOW»! Delicious, Delicious, Freaking Delicious. Their Spicy Pork Tacos were just that delicious, spicy but with very good flavor. I must say that thier burritos are exceptional, full of flavor, meat and ingredients If you are ever in that area, it is a must go try place or if you’re just like me who loves to travel for great food. Take a road trip ou will not be disappointed if you chose to dos, go hungry as they have lots to choose froma and pleanty of flavor that will open up that appetite.

Had lunch with a coworker here about a month ago(a bit late in reviewing, sorry). I was confused about the menu but excited to try it. Unfortunately my friend ordered before I had a real chance to process the menu… so I ended up ordering the chicken Korean bbq burrito. It. Was. The. Bomb. I’m not that familiar with Korean BBQ or Korean cuisine but this was very tasty. I didn’t have jalapenos(I’m a white boy) but the salsa in it had just enough kick. VERY good. It was chicken, marinated rice, and a lettuce mix that included cilantro and salsa. Yummy. We also shared Cha Cha Fries sans pico de gallo and jalapenos because my Mexican friend can’t do spicy.(At least I have an excuse.) Imagine French Fries with cheese, chorizo, sour cream, and beans… far better than«animal style» fries elsewhere. Now this place in Alhambra is a little place, probably holds maybe 35 people at a time? Small but I liked it. You order and pay then they bring the food to you. I’m looking forward to trying something else… maybe the tacos or quesadilla or sliders. Did I say or? And!

The only reason I’m giving 3 stars is that they were out of cheese when I was there. I still ordered a chimichanga without cheese, and even without the cheese, it was tasty! I also ordered a Hawaiian KBBQ short rib slider, which was also really delicious. This location is on Valley Blvd in Alhambra, so the later in the afternoon and into the evening you get, especially on weekends, be prepared for traffic and a parking hassle. There’s a small parking lot behind the building, but beware, it is a one direction lot so you will have to enter from 6th, but you’re probably going to be competing with people trying to park for Noodle World and Boiling Crab, which are nearby. I’ll definitely come back.

I really hate hype… At first I saw this place on Guy’s D-D-D tv show and thought to myself this is a place I’d like to try, and put off on going because of the distance to travel to get here from orange county. A co-worker of mine even tried this place recently and assured me that it was«bomb» so I convinced myself to go with my girlfriend and a few friends. I ended up getting the bulgogi burrito because it sounded delicious from the menu description but in actuality if was quite sub par… The burrito was a fusion between fast food style calimex and korean bbq but didn’t hit all the flavor profiles for me… My only suggestion is that it could be more of a fusion between authentic mexican food and authentic korean food… For the average person that’s never tried both should be easily pleased whereas on the flip side for a person that has tried both authentic korean and mexican food flavors is in for a sore disappointment. All in all hype kills and this place isn’t worth visiting unless you’re in the area and you’re cool with a crappy back lot parking lot(not lowered car friendly because my M3 lip scraped like a mother on the way out).

Wow! I can’t believe I drive by this place all the time and have never ever once stepped foot into it until tonight. The place is small and quaint. Most of it is self served so it takes away the atmosphere of the having someone take all of your orders and bringing everything to you. I really liked the cashier girl name Sara. She’s very personable, friendly, and smiles a whole lot. She made really great recommendations and was nice to come by and check on me and my meal. 5 stars for Sara and 4.5 stars for the food… I thought the food was very creative and delicious. I ordered the jalapeño bomb and the Cha Cha fries.

Found what I like at Cha Cha Chili: Beef(bulgogi) Cha Cha Bowl(less than $ 8) & Mushroom Poppers($ 5.95) were good. Tried several of their other items before like tacos, burritos, kimchi quesadilla, etc. Those were decent, but don’t really crave for them.

40 minutes and still waiting… terrible wait for 3 items… wtf… this food better be GREAT! *update* food wasn’t that great. after seeing this place on diners drive in’s and dives I was interested… but… the tacos were totally different from the show. the short rib tacos had very small pieces of meat(nothing like I seen on the show) and almost zero chorizo on the cha cha fries… not to mention the 45 minute wait… totally not worth it… will never be back here.

No fountain drinks– either can or bottle– so no sodas. Refillable ice tea($ 1.50 for 16 oz). Soju Old Fashioned($ 6.95). Orange flavor. Korean Sliders($ 6.55) comes in three, medium angus beef seasoned in some sweet sauce with lettuce and cilantro wrapped in Hawaiian buns. My favorite. Korean BBQ spicy Pork Taco and Korean BBQ tofu Taco($ 2.45 each) — personally, a little too sweet for tacos. Deep fried spicy pork chimichanga($ 8.45), filled with lettuce, pork and rice. Super tasty and exotic. Never had it anywhere so it’s worth a try. One of the dishes mentioned at Drivers, Diners and Dives. This particular location is new so there’s not that many people in general. Plenty of open tables though the service is slow. Happy Hour from 4 – 6 with $ 2 beer so probably a good place to chill with your buddies if you’re in the area.

Went with a group of classmates after one of them suggested this place and it was definitely a good experience so decided to go back and take my boyfriend. This place is Korean-Mexican fusion with items on the menu like bulgogi tacos, burritos, quesadilla, Korean Philly cheesesteak(although idk how this is Korean-Mexican but who cares lol), etc. they also have bulgogi burgers(which is def what I wanna try next time) Their food is definitely yummy! Had the bulgogi chimichanga and what can I say, it was love at first bite! It was cut into four(giant) pieces and they definitely did not hold out on the meat! It was crunchy and definitely on the sweeter side but I’m not complaining. Couldn’t finish the whole thing because the portions were pretty big. We also got mushroom poppers. Deep-fried stuffed mushrooms. The portions weren’t as big as the chimichangas tho, wish we could’ve gotten more. Felt like they gave just barely four pieces. My boyfriend got the bulgogi quesadilla which was also really good. I could tell he really enjoyed it because he wanted to get more(haha!) The meat and the cheese definitely goes well with each other. They give you complimentary chips and salsa while you wait which is also a plus. And they also serve beer! :) They have a parking lot in the back which is always a good thing so you don’t have to scavenge for parking spots esp when you go when it’s busy. Would def come back! Going to be back for you bulgogi burger! HAHA

I wanted so much to like this place… especially since the restaurant at this particular place seems to change every few months… but it ended up being a slightly overpriced, slightly less tasty version of Kogi truck. We got the chimichanga as well as the burrito, and the one thing I can agree about, as with many of the prior reviews is that the food is good, but there is hardly any meat in the dishes and way too much rice and cheese. It’s not so much that the food isn’t good as much as the ratios are just totally off. It’s like they are trying to make as much money off of you as possible by giving you as little meat as they can while still calling it a «burrito». Unless they are just super carb-hungry…

You’ll want to do the Cha Cha Slide along with your chimichanga! This Korean/Mexican fusion restaurant makes for some interesting eats! Had the beef bulgogi chimi this time, but their spicy pork chimi is also porkin’ good! Chimichangas are the most popular items here… they’re fried to perfection, full of flavor and just plain huge — hubby and I had to share. Note: they put more meat in their chimichanga when it’s pork vs. beef bulgogi. Check out Adam Richman’s video on this place… click the link below… ~ Next time I will be getting the lomo burrito from their secret menu… even my spouse wants his own after watching this clip! This Cha Cha Chili owns another location close to Cal State Los Angeles. I’ve been to the original location and so far the only difference is that the beef bulgogi has a stronger marinade at the L.A. location, but the beef bulgogi here is still pretty good. Tried the fish taco for the first time at this location and I thought it was the perfect fish taco. I find most fish tacos to be BLAND, and so I would prefer to file my nails than to try my hands on yet another bland fish taco, but I was not disappointed here. This has more of the full fish flavor I come to luv! Seating is way more spacious and comfortable at this location… and no traffic going 70mph here. Alright we gonna do the basic steps Slide to the left Slide to the right Take it back now y’all One hop this time Right foot lets stomp Left foot lets stomp Cha cha real smooth! I was excited to try this place out, but meh. I came with a group and the logistics could have been much better. They should have given us numbers to identify each order. The waitress kept returning and breaking up our conversation to figure out which plate belongs to who. Then it was a group effort to figure it all out, which quickly got annoying. Mushroom poppers — not bad at all. Possibly the best thing on their menu. Hawaiian sliders with Bulgogi — Decent but the lettuce on top was old and brown. Once my girlfriend pointed that out, I proceeded with caution.(no I didn’t). The meat was too marinated, if that’s a thing. Cha cha bowl with spicy pork — Yoshinoya’s bowl trumps this. This is an embarrassment… Do not get this. Jap Chae noodles — I feel like they could get this down better. It was too sweet and lacked the veggies and meat. I just felt like brown and slimy noodles. I really wanted to like this place, but I would rather hit a food truck over this spot. They’re trying, but not hard enough.
