BESTPHOTHISSIDEOFTHE710! The parking is super easy with a huge structure right in the back. The service is quick and simple. Not much need for anything else when you’re stopping in for some delicious phở. Would like a little more attentiveness but other than that no complaints. LOVE the rare filet. Also never had to wait more than 2 minutes to be seated so huge plus! This place is always on my radar when I need my phở fix

Love this place! I have frequented Pho79 for years and, although they do have many options on their menu besides phở, I always get phở. Yum!

This is my go to phở spot on the east side of LA. I love coming here because: 1. There is NOWAIT. 2. The phở taste GOOD! Broth is great, noodles are perfect. 3. Good prices! Also, there’s a dish called Very Tasty Beef Stew(I think…) that comes with bread that you can dip and it tastes amazingg!!! And their bread is perfect! Crispy and delicious! I would say the spring rolls need some work… but it’s still decent enough to eat. Tip: Parking– there’s a few spots in the back of the restaurant entrance if you do not want to park in the structure.

Decent phở with a bit subpar service. The menu is really large and extensive which is nice. My friend got the phở with golden brisket and an iced coffee with condensed milk. He’s a caffeine junkie is so he liked the coffee but he was thrown off by how fatty the meat in his phở was: 2⁄5($ 6.75) My other friend got the bun bo nuoung and cha gio; she seemed pretty happy with it($ 7.90?) I got the bun thit nuoung with tom. They were a little stingy on the shrimp but it was fine. Not the best I’ve ever had but not the worst. Parking is easy: there’s a parking structure nearby that has free parking for 4 hours. I might come here again if friends are craving phở but wouldn’t go out of my way to come here specifically.

I’ve always driven passed this place but never thought about trying it out. My family decided to come here to eat today for a celebratory dinner and I happen to be in the area so I dropped by here as well. Since I knew the area kind of well, I made an assumption that the parking lot would be behind the building behind Gen KBBQ, Blockheads, etc. and I was right but there was a mini private lot by their entrance as well. I parked in the lot, walked in, and nobody greeted me. My family was already seated so I walked towards them and sat down. They ordered their food before I did and had their menu’s were taken away. I sat down for about 10 minutes and nobody acknowledged me. I was in a rush, so I couldn’t wait any longer. I had to run up to the cashier to call someone to take my order. An old man came out and asked«what you want?» and I said Phở Tai(rare steak noodle soup). Then he went to go enter it in the POS system and 5 minutes later, my soup came out. My broth was light, which I didn’t mind at all because most Vietnamese restaurants would dump MSG in their soups. The noodles were a bit over soaked and became mushy and soggy within a couple of minutes after eating it, and noodles kept breaking, as if I can just make a phở porridge out of the noodles! The steak wasn’t very good. It was really soft like Yoshinoya beef but even softer! What the heck?! That’s kind of gross! I’m use to eating thinly sliced lean steak! I have no clue what those chunks of intestines were! So mushy gushy! GAH! The price for this place is cheap. About $ 7 for a bowl of soup and half a handful of noodles. Be prepared to ask for an extra bowl of noodles for an additional $ 1.50! That’s how they catch you! hah! Overall, I think this place is okay, i’ve been to better. I think i’ll stick to my original phở joint!(:

A safe bet to get your phở fix in Alhambra. I came with a group of 20+ on a Sunday afternoon during the lunch rush. They were quite accommodating, seating us(scattering us) all around the restaurant. After that, service went AWOL. Numerous requests for water,(c’mon man, if there’s a group this large, especially one with children, SOMEONE’S going to be thirsty so just bring out the damn water), people getting their foods at different times, not cool. Phở tai was good; they give a generous amount of meat here. I’m not the biggest fan of spring rolls so I won’t really comment there, but their egg rolls were delicious. I think they make them from scratch and don’t just pull them out of a frozen bag. Overall, food was pretty good(no real complaints there) but I’ll have to deduct a star for the«less-than-satisfactory» service. I know what you’re thinking: «but dude, you came with a huge group of people!» That’s why I didn’t lower it to two stars. I’ll definitely give this place another chance because of the good food, but until then the three star rating stands. Parking can be a bit of a pain on weekends; there’s a parking structure behind the restaurant but ITWILL fill up during the weekend lunch rush. Street parking is a pain in the ass as well.

Great phở and staff, I go here all the time! Everyone should try! I’d recommend anyone to go here. Good for small or large groups. Close parking and garage parking.
