I can’t speak for the food, but The Windmill serves hard Hershey’s premium ice cream, including several flavors that are gluten free.(If you look on the Hershey website, you’ll be able to see what flavors are GF.) I like the butter pecan.

The food was what is to be expected. Actually the fries were above average. However the experience that we had with the girl at the window was sub par at best. Her attitude was horrible, very unpleasant and she dropped the ball. Along with getting food we also paid for a round of the haunted mini golf. We did not receive the balls or a score card and we were never told where to go to for the mini golf. After eating we were ready for a round of mini golf. We had to ask other customers where to go because the employees were nowhere to be found. Finally we found where to go but we didn’t have the balls or score card. If we hadn’t paid for a round already we would have left. We began the mini golf. It was decorated well and had a great ambiance. The lighting around the holes could have been better and there were supposed to be actors but we encountered only one jump scare. The paintings around the course were amazing. That alone is worth going for, but try to avoid the employees they are no help.

I have to start off by saying haunted mini golf… what a barrel of quirky, wholesome, hometown fun! That was the first experience I had here(minus the ice cream unfortunately, it was too busy for that). I recommend you get a group together and have a little unusual fun this Halloween season! Now on to the ice cream… FANTASTIC! My go-to is the butter pecan sundae! You may think that ice cream is ice cream, but I strongly disagree. Here at the Windmill, that ice cream is served fast and friendly, with big portions at competitive prices! Don’t let the lack of parking from the ongoing construction in the area deter you. This little spot is worth the stop!

One of my favorite hometown joints for ice cream. The other day me and my friend got a Reese’s peanut butter cup parfait and a butter pecan parfait. They were both absolutely delicious. The girl at the counter was very nice and quick to make our order. The prices of the ice cream is competitive to the other places around the area. The Windmill it’s also a good place to have a fun little game of mini golf. I definitely recommend going mini golfing around Halloween.

The windmill has been around forever. I have not been there since I was a kid. My friend and I went for the haunted mini golf and it was amazing!!! It was a little dark and spooky. But the holes were lit up with glow sticks, there were lights in the right regions and it was pretty cool. The customer experience at this establishment is top notch. There aren’t many times I am blown away by customer service, but this one takes the cake. They went out if their way to make sure we enjoyed our experience. There are great soft serve flavors for you to enjoy after you golf. It is a little tough to find the path to the next hole, but that’s why you have a light on your phone! I think it adds to the experience. I would 100% go here for the mini golf again.
