Anytime Fitness

The Gym itself is similar to any other anytime fitness. Cant complaint there. Pretty clean and functioning equipment’s.
But I had the worst sales experience here. I tried to cancel my membership and the General Manager (Chase Goodman) started banging on the desk, and screaming in my face. I don’t expect gym salesman to live up to high professional standards but this was completely unexpected. Never had someone yell at me and threaten to hurt me, or insult my intelligence.
When I asked for the contact information of the franchise owner so I can contact him about the experience, he banged on the desk some more. At that point I decided to walk out, as I realized I was speaking with an individual that lacked common sense of courtesy or decency, and had anger issues.

My husband and I have been members for several months now, and have seen ownership/​management change a couple of times. Generally this isn’t an issue for us as our strategy is to get in, run a few miles on the treadmill, and get out. We don’t use much of the equipment/​services other than the mills and occasionally the bike. The facility is clean though, and we never really have any problems getting on the equipment.
Our only quibbles right now are that the member «storage cubbies» are off near the public entrance, and you can’t really see them from the floor or the treadmills. Not many people (that I’ve talked to there) are comfortable leaving their car keys, phones, etc. out of eyesight. And, the owner (manager?) currently there spends a lot of time pitching his multi-​level marketing business. Unprofessional to prey on paying members like that. Fortunately we’re good at putting on headphones and ignoring people, but members shouldn’t have to feel like they’re being targeted this way.

If you don’t like big box gyms with over crowded machines, then you will love Anytime Fitness. 24 hour access makes it even better.
