unfortunately this place just got locked out. I really liked going there, but was never that busy, and so it looks like they have gone out of business.

I loved this place. I know some reviews were not kind. But I always had great food and great service. Now they have gone out of business it seems. They had an amazing salad bar, great cuts of meat, and amazing desserts. I will miss this place. I hope the owners try another restaurant in the future, I will definitely be there to support them. Rest in Peace Braza.

My wife and I really wanted to like this place. We love Rafain’s, Texas de Brazil, and Fogo de Chao. Unfortunately, Braza Cantante doesn’t compete. Décor: The front of the building would look nice if it weren’t for the neon open signs. When you enter the main doors and walk into the small waiting area there is a flat screen TV advertising the romantic dinner package, among other restaurant related items. The TV cheapens the experience. It felt more like walking into a Chinese buffet. The main dining area was ok, however the flickering candle light bulbs also seemed to cheapen the experience. Service: just to place this into context, my wife and I were one of three tables while we dined. We went on a Thursday night and it was very slow. Overall, the staff was very friendly. We had to get our own plates after the salad bar and the gauchos were a little slow to bring out the meat. I think we waited about 8 minutes before our server realized we were ready. I also had trouble getting my water refilled. Once they began bringing meat to the table, they were very attentive and friendly. They were also good about asking what specifically we were interested in and made sure that every menu item was presented. The first gaucho brought out chicken. He dropped a piece that hit my leg and fell onto the floor between my wife and I. He apologized and all was forgiven, but he left the chicken on the floor. It was still there when we left. Bar: The bar looked well stocked. My wife ordered a Bloody Mary and liked it. It was on the spicy side and served in a pint glass, so it was a large drink. I ordered a Glenmorangie neat, which they served in a shot glass. I’m not sure if they don’t have snifters, or the bartender just didn’t serve much scotch, but that is a minor complaint. They had a decent wine list with plenty of variety. Food: There were few stand-outs. I really liked the spicy beef and the garlic beef was ok. The chicken was very dry and the pork tenderloin was unimpressive. I am a huge fan of picanha and it is usually my favorite, but their’s didn’t have the tasty crust that I have come to appreciate at other churrascarias. In fact, the only meat that did have a good crust was the spicy beef, everything else was a little mushy. The salad bar was also a little limited, which I expected at that price point, so no real complaint there. We didn’t get any dessert, but the pineapple was very good. All in all, with two entrées and two drinks, our bill was $ 110, plus $ 22 tip. I really hope this place improves, but I probably won’t be back until I see improvements in the reviews. I understand that their price point is a little lower than the other three, so I should probably manage my expectations, but it was still overpriced for what you get. Since we went on a Thursday and it was so slow, I also wondered about the freshness of the meat. It may be better when it is busy, but I think restaurants at this price point should be consistent. Hope this helps.

Outstanding setting, service, and food. If you like the Fogo place, you’ll love this for the price and food quality. The choices of meats are similar to Fogo, but they also do a smoked Pineapple that simply«Off The Chain» !! The salad bar is the best in town and can be you only meal if you like. Some nights they play music. A Brazilian artist was there during one of our visits, and he actuall get me interested in the sound. It’s good to have a place like this in the neighborhood.

This place has really stepped up its game… I used to place it under Fogo and Texas de Brazil, but today’s lunch was top notch.

I was really excited to try this place and left completely disappointed. Group of 10. Service was painfully slow for a non-weekend-rush evening when the place was mostly empty. Our waiter was extremely nice, but not up to the service level you expect at $ 40 a head ++. Drinks took a very long time to arrive, a few had to be sent back because they were bad. The salad bar had a few really delicious things –the smoked salmon was perfect– but Im not sure it is enough to warrant the $ 25 tag if you were doing salad bar only. We waited… and waited for the meats to start arriving, even with cards flipped. Once they did, we were happy with the variety and most of them were excellent. Paying was an ordeal. A few of the checks were charged to the wrong credit cards but the check totals were close enough to each other that we just let it go in the interest of saving time and finally leaving. If they had been wildly different it feels like it would have been a nightmare to fix. The whole thing overall wasn’t horrible but it just wasn’t good. It felt like a new place working out the kinks. We had to constantly ask for water refills and cocktails sat empty. Service was very nice but sub par. We weren’t told about the auto gratuity. Everything lagged. The meats were quite good but overall it was definitely not worth the cost. I have no problem paying $ 150 for food/drinks for 2 people for a great experience but this just wasn’t one.

Only a few cuts of the meat were good. The filet mignon and the top sirloin were good the other meats were extremely tough or poorly seasoned. I am not sure why this place has 4 stars. my wife and i were definitely disappointed and felt we paid to much for the quality of food we got.

Apparently this has lazy staff members who don’t want to work. At 9:06 they turned me away saying that they close at 9:30. Unilocal shows that they’re open until 10PM.

It only takes one! Unfortunately, new dietary restrictions do not allow my husband to eat much. So, I called to find out if they offer a menu that would be a limited amount of food. I guess I got the insensitive, non-customer service woman on the phone. I explained that we were good customers, but recent surgery prevented my husband from eating more than a few bites. We still wanted to enjoy the restaurant, especially my daughter, but hoped they would offer a limited menu. Well, she did not even alert us to the fact that you can order just the appetizers as a meal, and just said, «No!» Knowing we can not take leftovers home, and not being able to eat more than a few bites, they just lost three great customers. I guess they can afford that! We cannot afford $ 40 for one piece of meat, so goodbye Brazas!

I guess I just have higher standards. There was a small variety of items at the salad bar and one item was advertised wrong. Nothing interesting there The service is great! Everyone is nice and gives you space. The meat was cooked perfectly but almost everything I ate was extremely salty! So, for the price… It’s not worth it(at dinner time at least)

I’ve been back several times since and nothing has changed. Still the same high quality service and great food! If you haven’t tried this place out you need to slap yourself!

I bought an offer from(travel zoo) for half the price. I went there with my wife and another family, so each family had a voucher. However we missed reading the whole voucher which said we can use only one voucher per table. The kitchen manager was trying to let us pay off pocket at the restaurant and wanted to count only one voucher but I insisted that we could have separated and each family had a separate table which will not make a difference than being on one table and that won’t affect their earnings. After long discussion they accepted the two vouchers. So advice, if you have the same offer, read really carefully. But still good offer though. The food taste was great but it took too long time to get the next meat piece. Waiter was really great but kitchen manager was little rude. Salad bar was ok but nothing really fancy. They don’t have sushi on salad bar as Texas De Brazil does. I also have a concern where I called to reserve a table but when arrived they haven’t had my reservation there but they were able to find a place for me. Also, try the Brazilian lemonade if you are going, it’s really good juice.

If you are into the brazillian steakhouse scene like me and you don’t want to pay the top notch prices at Fogo de Ciao, Texas de Brazil or Refain this is the place to go. Don’t get me wrong these places are excellent and for $ 50 you do get your money’s worth. At Braza, $ 24 for lunch and $ 40 for dinner is actually really good. Their salad bar is not as large as the«big 3» but it is still worthy. The meats are on point. Beef, chicken, pork all made their appearance. I guess lamb is a dinner item because I never saw any of it. Now, I went for lunch and I counted about 7 – 9 variations of beef, pork and chicken. They even the cinnamon pineapple. For dinner, I believe it’s twice that plus lamb. For the price, this is now my go to place for brazillian steakhouse experience. I do plan on going back and this time it will be for dinner.

(Club review) to start, I LOVETHERESTARAUNT; this review is for the nightlife. Firdaynights used to be full of fun for the 30+ crowd. These days are gone; lost to salsa music and emptiness. This is my second try in a month, nada gain I am disappointed. Boring boring and boring. This place has lost its nightlife appeal.

Price is $ 10 cheaper compared to Fogo or Texas de Brazil for dinner. However, that’s what you get for paying that price. Yes, have all the meat cuts like Fogo but taste is definitely not up to par. Quality is pretty good. Salad bar is OK, not extensive like what other reviewers said. Service is good. Will I go back? Probably not…

About once a month you can shake it with one of the best Zumba Instructors in the area Staci Etheridge. Enjoy the food, the fun and the atmosphere at a prime location in Allen, Texas. Its a top spot that does not get enough recognition.

Mmmm! This was such a good experience for me and I really wish it was closer to home. This was a belated birthday dinner from my sis and I gotta say it was a fantastic choice on her part. The salad bar items are plentiful, tasty, and very fresh. If I had saved some room, I would have tried the soups because they were looking good. We sat outside next to the fire which kept us warm. The Xingu I ordered was flat. so I’m guessing it’s not a big seller there and I guess I’ll stick to the wine next time. On to the protein. I will list them in order of best to good. Filet mignon(no bacon) House Picanha Beef rib Lamb chops Spicy beef Pork ribs Sausage Filet mignon with bacon Tenderloin Leg of lamb They serve mashed potatoes and cheesy bread too while we ate as well as fried bananas. The spuds are awesome. I almost didn’t try them but I’m thankful sis convinced me to grab a couple of bites. The bananas I knew I would like so that was no surprise. The cheesy bread ball things though I’m not a fan of. We ended the night with some chocolate cake. It was a giant portion and sealed the deal on a great dinner. Great food and service, large selection, plus a patio. It’s all I can ask for from an establishment. Bravo!

The food here is great. The only problem is you REALLY have to come hungry to fully take advantage of all of the good food. The other reviews are what we based our choice on. We are in the process of moving into the area. This place will be on our must return list. Next time we will fast all day so we can try all that they offer.
