Bumper to Bumper Auto Service

I went in on a Saturday morning to get my brakes done. They were very friendly and were able to get my brakes done in a reasonable amount of time. Seems to be very knowledgeable, and my brakes work great now on my Chevy pickup truck. I will definitely go back and use again.

Just had my front and rear brakes done here. Pretty good experience, the facility is nice and clean on the inside and they had free coffee. I felt the price was good and the employees were nice. While we were there another customer came in to complain about some damage to her car and the manager was very polite and explained to her that he could pull the video recordings from the day she was in and make a copy for her to keep. It’s nice to know they record the work being done in the shop. It’s also refreshing to know that the manager trusts his employees when they tell him they did not damage a customer’s car.

Found this place on Unilocal and checked in for the discounted oil change– mentioned it to the mechanic and he got started.
At check-​out, the cashier/​mech didn’t know about the Unilocal ad or the discount. Seems there has been a management or ownership change (but phone number is the same, and certificates inside still say «Bumper to Bumper»). The shop is now «AAA Auto Repair and Lube» (see photo I posted) but mechanic’s uniforms and my credit card statement shows «Kwik Kar».
After he made a call to the manager, I was offered a discount almost as good as the Unilocal check-​in.
Overall I think they did a good job checking over my car, offering to replace marginal items (fluids, filters, etc) which I declined.
If you plan on using any Unilocal discount I recommend calling first to make sure it’s valid, probably won’t be.

We have been taking our cars here since they opened for routine maintenance. I had to have my radiator replaced a few years ago and they did a great job. I have noticed that the staff seems to be different each time I go lately. Last month, my husband took his car in because his breaks were making a weird noise. He was told that he needed new pads, new rotors and something else, all totaling $ 850. I suggested he get a second opinion, so we took the car to another shop, telling them nothing. It needed brake pads. That’s it. When my husband told this mechanic what he was told, he assured him that it needed only the pads and that the other shop was trying to rip him off. I am so disappointed, not to mention furious. Years of patronage and THIS is the thanks we get? Obviously a new, quite dishonest mechanic has been hired, based on my experience and some of the other reviewers here as well. What a shame.

I usually take my cars in to get oil changes here with no issue. A few weeks ago I took my car in to get the inspection done. They told me the car would not pass because the breaks were bad. I told them I would pick up the car and have someone else do the breaks. My other mechanic told me there were no issues with any of the breaks and proceeded to show me how very little wear my breaks had! I took my car to another location to get an inspection and had no issues. Beware when this place tells you need work done that you didn’t go in for!

This place is always so nice! I bought a car that came with low profile tires and the tires have always had problems. They are always willing to quickly fill my tires with air. And Jordan was so kind to fix my tire when he saw a large nail in it. Great customer service! I’ll keep coming back!

I checked in so I got a good deal on my oil change. Comfortable lobby. Overall a pleaseurable exprience. I’ll def be back.

I’ve had mixed experience here. I’ve taken my car in for different needs. On a hood repair (my daughter backed my truck up into my camry) they wouldn’t rest until the work was done perfectly. The owner was great and communicated with me every step of the way. Even when I thought it looked fine, he insisted that they redo the finish one more time.
The last time, however, I took the Camry in for a noise coming from the belt tensioner. They service manager told me the alternator was bad and needed to be replaced. Even when I told him the noise had been there for over a month and the battery never needed a jump, he insisted. So I took it someplace else. Alternator is fine and only the belt tensioner needed to be replaced.
Not sure if I will go back.

My husband’s car needed a pulley replaced so we decided to try Bumper to Bumper. They got us in right away to get the car looked at. They stayed open late to make sure the car got fixed and also took the time to go through everything that they had done and what we might be needing in the near future. They also gave us a coupon for $ 20 for forgetting to do an oil change. We thought that they were very honest and reasonable. We would definitely go back!

I LOVE this place!!! Ed is always wonderful, and they always have great prices. I have recommended them to friends and family. Now my entire family goes to them for oil changes, tires, 100 thousand mile check-​ups, you name it! They really can do it all!

My son has an ’86 Nissan 300 ZX. These guy’s know their Nissans. Not only did they provide great technical service, their prices were great. But it gets better. He went back, admittedly, with a small but related issue and they addressed it. While it took extra parts and extra labor, they said «our fault for missing that», and there was no charge.
Furthermore, when they say bumper-​to-​bumper, that’s what they mean. They do mechanical, electrical and bodywork.
They have me and my son there now as life-​time customers. I cannot think of any reason why I’d even consider going anywhere else.

Found this place on Unilocal and have been reading reviews of auto service shops in the DWF area, which took me a while since I’ve been screwed over before. I called to get a feel of the employees and I ask a couple questions before bringing my work truck for an oil change. They were so polite and genuinely honest. i will definitely bring my personal vehicle here soon for major repairs. So far, I love this place. Keep up the good work.
