McKinney, TX
Clean and nice theatre — with tiered rooms and comfortable seats. It’s more expensive than the 14 in McKinney — but better for date night. If you are taking a huge family — go to McKinney 14 at matinée time.

Went to see a movie, they left the screen off until the movie started. 1 hour of black screen and radio commercials sucks. Cinemark official told us that this is on purpose because it was the first showing of the day at 1:40pm on Saturday. I’m going to another theatre.

Took my daughter to see Cinderella tonight and she had to use the restroom. She got lost and went in the wrong showing on the way back. Instead of helping her when she asked for help, the staff laughed at her and told her «we don’t know which one you were in». I walked up as they were chuckling at a lost little girl. My wife nearly had to physically restrain me. This is the only Unilocal review I’ve ever left… but it was so unabashedly unprofessional and downright mean. Go here if you want someone to make fun of your kid.

I’ve been going to this theater on and off for the last couple years. No particular reason for the «off» times, just chose to see a movie somewhere else. I’ve always been pleased with the overall movie going experience here, but never really thought that it stood out as being particularly amazing.
I can’t comment much on the actual theaters; I’m usually too engrossed in the film that I’m watching to notice if the seats recline or not. Also not a big concessions gal, so I can’t comment on the superior/​inferior quality of the popcorn. What I do know is that I enjoy being at this theater, without having a great explanation as to why. It’s always been a comfortable cinematic experience for me.
If I’m going to a movie in the Mckinney area, you can be sure that this theater is in our movie going rotation.

We’re in McKinney and always travel to Cinemark in Allen when we want to catch a flick. It’s clean (lobby, restrooms, theaters), sound and picture quality good and theater seating meets our expectations. I have never experienced over the top or really terrible customer service here. Concession prices are ridiculous and I cringe every time we order something.

I have always favored traveling on the road less traveled. Also, I like Allen and lived there for most of the years I have been in DFW, although I now live in Irving. So, I favored the idea of taking a trip down memory lane and going back to Allen to hang out and also I favored the fact that I knew it wouldn’t be overcrowded with teeny-​boppers or thugs. I appreciate peace of mind and the feeling of safety and Allen always offered that to me. Anything can happen anywhere, true. But the likelihood of a rat pack being at this theater is slim to none. Plus most people in DFW go to theaters closer to the city, so this is the road less traveled. It’s set up like any other theater. Nothing special there. The customer service is good. I was surprised to see that the teenage concession workers had better customer service than the concessions manager. Hers wasn’t bad, but theirs was GREAT!

I’ve been going here for years. The theater is always clean, the concession stand sells good food, and the prices are normal for a large theater.
Some reviewers are complaining about the prices for the tickets and the concession. Let me try to explain. I used to work at AMC in Frisco, and for the first month, or two, the movie studio gets 100% of the ticket sell. The actual theater gets nothing, that is why the concession is so high. Yeah, it costs about ten cents to make a large bag of popcorn, the reason why you just paid $ 7 for it is because the entire $ 50 you paid in tickets for your family went straight to the studio, Cinemark received nothing of that. I hoped that helped.
I really enjoy this theater. They have good prices for morning and early afternoon tickets. You know when the kids are in school. You can enjoy a good movie, not pay a lot, and not be bothered by a bunch of brats texting on their phone.

This is my home movie theater. I definitely enjoy getting away from the house about once a month and this is the spot for that. I think if I went more often I would think the prices were out of bounds (which is also the reason I did not go 5*), but this is about norm, and the theaters are kept clean and have good show times.

We’ve been here a couple of times over the years, most recently to take in an weekday evening but definitely off-​peak showing of «The Hunger Games». Overall, it’s as nice as most Cinemarks in this area (which is to say, pretty darned nice), but the paths to get to some of the theaters can be long for people who have mobility issues. The concessions are front at center as soon as you come in, stocked with the usual high priced, bad for you grub, but I guess that’s just what you get when you go to the movies.
The sound and picture quality were good in our theater, as was handicapped accessible seating (a must, as one of our party is on a motorized cart).
We enjoyed our trip and would come back again.

This is a very nice theatre in Allen right off 121, and it’s huge! Relatively new and so all of the seats and the floors and the inside in general is just nice and clean, but you will pay for the newness of it. Kind of expensive for a night movie, but if you’re trying to catch a movie that’s filling up or selling out they do tend to have more seats available than other theatres.
I agree with others that the price of tickets and concessions combined are a huge draw-​back, it’s why I tend to avoid new theatres like this and go to the oldies but goodies that offer discounted ticket prices.

If you’ve seen one, you’ve sort of seen them all. So I don’t really rate the design, but rather focus on the service, crowd, cleanliness, and food.
It’s standard. Great location, small crowd for the weekend time frame chosen, friendly enough staff, standard food. Screen and sound is standard. You’re not going to be wowed, and you’re not going to be let down. It’s going to be a standard movie experience.
Most impressive point: cleanliness and smell. It doesn’t have that old stale stained carpet smell, and it was pretty clean.

Went there to see a movie with the lady and some friends.
The theater is decently clean and the screen and audio quality is pretty good. Parking is pretty convenient.
The prices were alright. We saw a matinée on saturday for 7.25. Matinée prices end at 5pm. After 5pm it’s 9.25 for a movie. Which is the same price at the other Cinemarks.
The seats recline and the arms on the chairs go up if need be.
This movie theater was mediocre. I wasn’t thoroughly impressed.
This one is a bit far from us. We came here to meet up with friends in mckinney. We’ll probably go here every once in a while.

This is a great theatre and is close to home! We’ve been going here for a few years and have never had any problems. The place is always clean and the employees are always polite.
The theatre is big enough to accommodate a large number of people, so they are rarely sold out of tickets.
The seats are comfortable and the movies look great on the screen. The audio is awesome and it’s all digital!
The only complaint I have is the price of tickets and food! Obviously this is an industry problem and not an individual problem.

Stopped here to see «No Strings Attached» on date night at 10:30PM on our way back to Irving from Cafa Malaga in Mckinney. It looked like a new theater but nothing special about it. The seats were good but Ive seen better. The theater hadnt been cleaned well and there was popcorn everywhere.
Audi and video were qood and about the same as any other place.
