Probably the cleanest Denny’s I’ve visited in recent years. The two people working the front counter area were very nice and pleasant to visit with while I waited for my order. I ordered the Grand Slam as I was craving home cooking and this is the closest thing to that while traveling at times. My order arrived quickly and was great. Thanks for making a long stressful day a littler easier.

By far the worst place to eat. This one is sub par to other locations. Service/food are horrible. Won’t come back.

The service was ok but I would not recommend this place. The tables were sticky and not clean. Most of all, the food was bad. I ordered the philly cheesesteak omelette and the omelette was over cooked and had no taste at all.

Really this place is not bad. My breakfast was fresh and served hot. The waitress kept my coffee cup filled. Not bad. It’s Denny’s! Had an omelette and hash browns. My tummy is set for the day.

Never go to this location. Get back on 75 and go to the one a few miles south in Plano. There’s a night and day difference in atmosphere(at a Dennys? Yes.) customer service and food. The price is the same and the menu is the same but this location either needs training from Plano or just closed.

To be honest we went to I hop and left there due to having to wait for a table due to them being under staffed. Anyways, we decided to try Denny’s. I have never been here before. Let me say the service was great! Stacy did a great job taking care of us.

I must admit, I’m not a fan of Denny’s until my birthday comes around… free grand slam! I visited one early morning and verified with Don they are one of the participating restaurants. He acknowledge they do give free meal but, because he was new, he didn’t know which one. When I started heading out to Plano location, Don stopped me saying he would take care of it one way or the other. He sat me down and offered a drink on the house(something that normally doesn’t come with grand slam). I ordered a hot chocolate and happy Don gave it to me on the house as it was terrible. I asked Don for a to go box before my meal explaining I wanted to box half of it. Don brought out my meal and half of it already boxed up. I was very impressed with Don. My grand slam was okay but really wish they wouldn’t make the syrup dispenser such a pain. Don continued to check on me until I left. When I got in car, I was upset I didn’t get any syrup to go. I looked in my back and Don had packed syrup and plasticware. Don definitely went above and beyond. I left him an excellent tip for his hard work.

Service was slow food was not very good. The entire family was fighting over the bathroom. I think most people know this place will give you diarrhea so head straight home after eating it. Only good think is the kids eat free but you still have to pay for there desert if you decide to get it. Staff was really nice but the location is new so both times I went the waitress was training witch means horible service.

I have avoided this location due to the lines, but I got lucky this time and was immediately seated at around 11:00 on a Sunday. Waitress was nice, but service was a little bit slow. Ordered AYCE pancakes, and even putting the next order in when one was delivered didn’t help with the pace. Asked for extra butter with one order and was done eating the order long before the extra butter came out.

I only give it 1 star because the service and chef during lunch is better then any other time. I went there the first time to eat in for breakfast the other day and the chef made me what I didn’t order. And now today I just ordered chicken avocado sandwich to go which is the same sandwich that I have ordered 5+ times before and this was definitely not the correct sandwich it looks like the chef had no idea what was supposed to be on it and threw avocado on top of the chicken and added onions pickles old lettuce and old tomatoes on it which only the avocado and chicken are correct on the sandwich no pico de gallo like it’s supposed to have. The lady taking the to go order didn’t even know the menu and repeated my order back to me yet it was all wrong. The manager is pregnant and is always smoking outside and the chef was talking on the phone while cooking which is probably the reason why my order was all wrong. I will never eat there or order again which is a shame because I actually like Dennys. This is my second review ever on Unilocal and for me to leave a review I have to be seriously piss or extremely pleased and in this case I am holding back to bad from calling them and telling them off instead I rather warn others so they aren’t disappointed.

It’s hard to give an accurate review. It really depends on when you go and who is working. Everytime I dine in or take out when the older tall manager(man) is working, himself and the staff are excellent. Service is fast and great and as a manager he is busting his ass in the kitchen and out of the kitchen. Seems like when he is there that they are short staffed but he handles it well. Pretty much any other time when he is not there it’s a totally different place. Crappy attitudes from waitresses. Night time manager that is pregnant is smoking on the curb by the front door. And being that the restaurant is completely empty the service is still slow and horrible. Messing up orders, bad work ethics and no consistency. Best time to go seems to be morning and early afternoon.

Waited 10 minutes for them to just bring me my water and then left. Might try this location one more time just because it is the closest one to me.

If I was able to rate it zero(0) stars, that is where this review would be. Visited on yesterday afternoon at about 3pm, hostess was great! This spot was absolutely empty which I was fine with. However, we got dirty and sticky menus!!! Oh and btw noone ever came out to serve us!!! Did I mention maybe another table that is it. Bad start, landslide for the opening of this property, INSANE… Think twice before coming here.

If you want HAIR in your food, come here! I can’t tell you how disgusted I was after coming here today with my family. First, we ordered our food. It came out very quickly and my daughter enjoyed all of her food. I ordered a Philly cheese and steak skillet with potatoes. It looked very delicious and I started to eat it when I saw a curled up short piece of hair mixed in with the cheese and potatoes. I just about gagged seeing that and completely lost my appetite. Also, our waitress got my husband’s order completely incorrect. He ordered the Avocado and eggs skillet and yet he got some skillet meal with a big sausage on top. Completely not what he ordered! By that time I had lost my appetite completely. The manager offered to remake my husband’s food correctly so we gave them another try since we were hungry. So after a few mins of waiting my husband’s correct meal comes out and he says it is fine. He ate it and then after a few bites he looks at me and says… look at my plate. I look down and see the disgust in my husband’s eyes when I see a long strand of hair in the avocado slices. So disgusted and disappointed in this place. The worst thing is this was our FIRST time at this new establishment(only opened a few months ago). I should’ve known better than to go to a Denny’s. If you want to eat other people’s hair … Come to Denny’s because you will most definitely find it in your food. Gross! If I could give this place a negative Star I would.

Staff very friendly I ordered the turkey and avocado sandwich which came served with the bread toasted in oil melted with pepper jack cheese, bacon and turkey burned and slice tomato. Not as described in menu. Potato soup was from a can tasted old. Husbands eggs were ok but his bread was not served till we finally found staff to serve it halfway through his meal. We were offered to make the sandwich correctly without the bacon and with avocado and not burned but by this time with the greasy burned food I was ready To go. In checking out told them I would never re turn again and how bad the food was, and he was very polite and apologized and did not charge for the meals. I think it had pains from a new startup but no excuse for not following the menu and burnt turkey

The everyday value slam is a great deal. Four bucks for pancakes, eggs and bacon/sausage. When craving breakfast for dinner, this is cheaper(and better) than I can make it at home.

This was our 1st dining experience at our New Denny’s in Allen. We had a GREAT Dining experience. Our server was Jon & he was VERY helpful with detailed description of the Menu itself. He was very friendly & even said«He Loved his Job» & it showed. My Hubby ordered breakfast & I had the Bacon Avocado Burger. It was ALL Very Good. We will be eating here often. Thank U Jon, the Chef & other friendly Employees that were working this evening. =)

This location is new and is next to OTB and IHOP. I came here for breakfast as a late night meal. Compared to IHOP the price is cheaper but the pancakes aren’t the same. I ordered the pick your own grand slam meal. You pick four items from a list and I chose pancakes, sausage links, eggs and hash brown. The price is around $ 7 but if you add extras the price will change. When we first came in the host kindly seated us to a booth. We were then greeted by the server and the MOD. Pretty much everyone on duty asked us if we needed something. We were asked twice if our drinks needed refill. A couple of times on how the food tasted. Well it was a bit odd but I could tell they were trying. At other locations I’ve never received such attention from the staff. The food was good but like I said the pancakes were just alright. This location is new so as of now it is clean. I hope they keep it that way and at least keep up with the same customer service. I don’t except to be treated like a queen but some decent service won’t hurt. Here is another difference between IHOP and Denny’s. the breakfast items at Denny’s aren’t as diverse. Also there is only one kind of syrup instead of IHOP’s multiple choices.
