Firestone Complete Auto Care

Thank you to Jared at Firestone for going above and beyond to help us with with a battery issue. I don’t know the other guy at the counters name tonight but both were very helpful and price was fair. Not my first trip here and very consistent in providing top notch service where I don’t feel like I’m being taken to spend more then I need. I’ll be back.

Like many folks who know nothing about cars except when they break, we want the best fix for the least amount of money. As a precaution, I always call to get a quote on the work I need done, this way if the quote changes when I arrive my ‘hustle meter’ will trigger and I leave immediately. So I head into the Firestone on McDermott armed with the quote written in ink on my hand, they immediately know who I am, and they pull up the quote for the BY3G1 Free tires. I think to myself, this is going too well, am I about to pay $ 500.00 for three new tires and receive the fourth tire free? Somebody pinch me! Ouch! Dayum that hurt.
Turns out they were given the wrong tire size by the chick who knows nothing about cars (me). My $ 500.00 deal turns into $ 900.00. Bummed by my own stupidity (notice I am not blaming others for my error). I ask what can be done. In a moment of sheer magic, Roberts comes back with a plan I can afford that gets me all four new tires and a battery. Clouds part, the sun beams and I now have a new place to take my auto.

I change the tires of my Jaguar at this place yesterday, The work was done right and
in a short time. I love the new tires. Sam and Scott were very helpful and very honest
They did work on my brakes as well. The place is very clean and friendly. I recommend this place to anybody who wants good tires and good prices.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. Rip off. My AC was flaking out And I brought it in. They wanted me to replace the condenser some valves a relay etc. It ended up 1150 worth of work. 400+ dollars worth parts and 660 for labor. I said hell no! Took it to another mechanic flushed it out cleaned out some valves added more freon. 200 bux works like new. They are con artists. I don’t even want to give them a star.

The only thing you can trust them with is an oil change. But every time you change oil, they will find dozen things wrong with your car that are not needed repair.

Lifetime car alignment is the way to go at Firestone. For 150, it’s totally worth it. The only thing is, you will probably end up getting a whole bunch of everything else serviced here while you are getting your tires aligned.

Went to Firestone for an oil change and to check on what was causing my tire pressure light to keep coming on. As suspected, there was a nail in my tire. So they told me that I’d need to replace at least 2 tires so that the two would match. My tread ratings? were all between 2 and 3 so they told me that I should go ahead and get all four tires and scolded me for not rotating them often enough.
Fair enough. They had a buy 3 get 1 free ‘deal’ which I believe is fairly standard. They weren’t too pushy and I felt I could have said no. Cost for the tires ended up being in the 550 range for all four. They have free rotations for those tires as long as I go back to any Firestone so that seemed like a good idea to me.
The work was done pretty quickly. maybe an hour or so but I wasn’t paying attention since I wasn’t in a rush. They had a (gross)restroom, a TV, and a few seats to wait for your vehicle. The staff were all friendly and they began work on my car right away.
I’d go back to this location again… but if I find a location closer to my house I’d probably just go there… nothing particularly special.
Nothing great. Nothing bad.

I’ve always had good luck with the mechanics at this Firestone location. They’ve done a great job with my various vehicles. Ask for «Nacho» to work on your car, if he’s available. He’s efficient, friendly, and effective.
There’s free wifi for while you wait, but make sure your notebook computer is fully charged as electrical outlets are super scarce.

Avoid this place like the plague!!! Took my car here in April 09′ for a simple oil change and left with a broken starter. They denied any wrong doing, however I ended up having my car towed to another mechanic just to get it fixed. It turns out when they put my car on the automatic lift it somehow attached itself to my starter and snapped a piece in half which basically forced me to get a new one. Fortunately my car was still under warranty with another mechanic so they fixed it with no charge. Meanwhile, I never returned back to Firestone cuz there’s no real proof they broke it, but I’m 100% sure they did becuz it wasn’t a problem beforehand. Stupid mother $%@#.
