I am a fan of the Sgt Pepper which is basically a BeefEater + sauteed onions and peppers. I loved the fact that I can ask for this sandwich and just bam get rung up and wait for my sandwich… (Not in Little Rock where they all look around at each other even though I come in and order the same sandwich every week). The salad bar was fresh and delicious and the restaurant itself was very clean. I would definitely recommend coming here for lunch or a healthy dinner alternative.

Food is ok. I had the salad bar and a cup of onion soup. I was alone so I was able to «observe». Salad bar was messy. That was a new one for me. Usually it’s top notch and clean:(
The men they hired to bus the areas need to be told what to do. I saw him (employee) and another man clearing tables during the lunch/​dinner time. Of the 12 – 16 tables they cleared NOT once did they wipe the tables down with the «spray» attached to the cart. Or even once wipe stuff off the tables.
Gross!!! Not many get to see who was at the table prior to them and their eating habits. Eeeeeek! (Visual: blowing your nose at the table and placing napkins on table).
I saw several patrons that noticed they were going to sit at a dirty table actually «clean» the table using napkins. Kudos to them for what it’s worth!
I ate my food on the red tray. After it was all done I wondered if my tray had even been cleaned???

This Jason’s in Allen has one of the best teams from any restaurant. They’re always friendly and happy. And talk about helpful and considerate, they’ve got the market cornered.

The food is good and reasonably priced. The employees are friendly and polite. It is very confusing on where to order if you plan to eat in. After standing in a line for take out we were informed that the eat in orders were taken at s different register. Manager was not helpful and I felt she should have taken quick action to get our order rather than have us go stand in another long line. I’ll probably go back eventually but not anytime soon.

Salads, soups, spuds and sandwiches are always good at Jason Deli. They are very generous with their portion and you can’t beat free ice cream to top off your meal.
This Allen location is pretty clean. Salad bar is replenish frequently and kept clean. I like that they have a partial brick wall to not make it as open as before and offer the diners a bit of privacy while they load up at the salad bars.
Everyone that works there is nice except for the guys at the end of the sandwich line. The ones that gives your salad plate. They act like they just don’t want to be there. No enthusiasm when they hand you your salad plate or food.

I’m giving them 4 stars just because I would reserve 5 stars for someplace very special. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Food was great. No pictures because I was so hungry and I ate it quickly. They are very busy so they must be doing something right.

Just ok. I’m not a big Jasons fan in the first place so… I had a craving for a corned beef sandwich and swung by Jaz. I asked for a corn beef sandwich on rye with mustard and Swiss cheese. The sandwich had plenty of meat and it tasted good however, the bread was toasted then the sandwich assembled. As a result the cheese wasn’t melted and the sandwich wasn’t hot. On a 1 – 10 scale I give their Sammie a 6. My companion had the same complaints with her panini. I guess it’ll do in a pinch for a quick bite but I’m not makin a habit out of it.

Went to this Jason’s Deli for the salad bar and a cup of soup this evening. What they had on the salad bar was fresh, but they were out of many items including various dressings and vegetables. Unfortunately, it seemed to take a while before they refilled these items. The staff behind the counter seemed more set on socializing with each other and were not very helpful. There were not many customers there when I got there (around 6:30pm), so I want to chalk up the bad customer service to just being a slow night. The soup and salad were good, so hopefully the customer service is better the next time I am there.

I love Jason’s Deli. All of the ones except this Allen store. They stop delivery service at 6pm everyday, which is not helpful at all. Really dissappointed in this, as we just moved to Allen from East TX recently, and have been trying to find our normal «spots». Oh well, marking this one off the list. :(

I like J-​Dels and I was trying this one out for an early dinner.
I’m giving this location 2 stars because of lack of common courtesy and friendliness.
When we walked in, it was dead, which was expected, but we weren’t greeted when we walked in and people were just hanging out and talking behind the counter. So, we walked to the salad bar ordering kiosk and ordered our stuff.
I guess the receipt dispenser on the kiosk was jammed and I looked to see that the ticket printed at the counter.
One staff member glanced at me and continued messing around behind the counter. I grabbed the ticket off of his register and walked to collect the plates and cutlery at the end of the counter.
There’s simply too many options to eat at to waste time at a place that doesn’t at least greet their customers.

I had such high hopes for this because I haven’t been here in years, but I remember coming here and having so many good sandwiches and baked potatoes. What a freaking disappointment.
Parking is ample in the lot and the ambience is exactly the same as any other jasons deli. The service is pretty good! Very friendly and helpful! I ordered a chicken pesto panini to go. It was promptly given to me and I headed out the door. This is where the good ends. I got home and there was two tiny pieces of chicken strips in my entire sandwich. I basically got a spinach sandwich. I can definitely find an $ 8 chicken sandwich with more chicken somewhere else.
The two pieces and pesto tasted pretty good though. So I got that going for me. Which is nice.

They are always very quick to take my to go order (always for a salad and a drink about 5x a week) but if they have a line, get this THEIR KIOSK ACTUALLY WORKS. If you have been to more than 1 Jason’s Deli you must know that their kiosks are notoriously terrible… but this one works!
Sometimes they «forget» to charge me for my drink, but when paying more than $ 8 for a salad, I think that’s pretty reasonable, hehe. Their salad bar is always fresh and if they’re running low on something just ask and they bring it out immediately.
One time they were just about out of potato salad, and they actually made me an entire container full of fresh potato salad just for me (mind you, this was about 20 minutes before they closed).

I know it’s a chain, and each store is different.
But seeing how this is my first time, I liked this place a lot. It’s healthier than most «fast food» places. It has good soups, great sandwiches, and a salad bar that provides diversity that you’ll find something to like.
Plus, free ice cream. Who doesn’t like free ice cream? It’s reminiscent of McDonald’s soft serve. Good stuff.

Fabulous casual, healthy dining experience for the entire family! Great on nights when you are too tired to cook! Clean atmosphere, quick!
